Just back from 2 weeks with our 2 children. We've stayed in many 4star plus resorts in Turkey so were looking forward to our holiday. We found the resort had good points but also not so good. GOOD The resort itself is stunning. The grounds are immaculate and the staff work tirelessly to keeping that way. The water park is very impressive, with all slides staffed by friendly lifeguards. My 9 year old was able to use all the slides but some of them are pretty terrifying!! The kids club was great with plenty to keep them occupied. Friendly staff who remembered and bonded with every child, particularly Melisa and Fliuza. The evening entertainment was extremely impressive. most nights were incredible shows with acts from all over the world. Big thumbs up to the resort for not just providing these shows once a week like lots of others do. Our room was better than I expected from Reading reviews. We had a 2 bedroom deluxe family suite. It was modern, clean, and our air con was OK although lots of guests we spoke to reported very poor or no air con. BAD First, I feel like this resorts really tries to squeeze every last penny out of you despite being all inclusive. Simple things that should be included are not, and you have to pay extra when in other resorts they are included as standard. They include a kettle in your room, use of the safe in your room, soft drinks or alcohol in your mini bar, plus each room only gets 2 WiFi codes no matter how many people you have paid to be there. It cost us 60 euro for our children to be able to use it too which I think is shocking. The service isn't up to standard unless you tip. There is no table drinks service in the restaurant, you have to queue at the bar and get your own, which after you've fought the cattle market of the restaurant with young children making 3-4 trips to your table isn't ideal. There were not enough restaurant staff to clear tables quickly which results in dirty plates piling up on your table. The food is OK, you won't go hungry but lots of wet sloppy dishes that weren't particularly warm unless they'd just been put out. Breakfast was basic with omlettes being pre made and put under the hit lamp so your not able to select your own fillings. Cocktails where appalling. Pre made, syrupy juice that barely tastes of alcohol. A few guests would be treated to "special" cocktails with fruit in a posh glass if they knew the right barman to ask, but for everyone else it was straight out of a machine and unimpressive. No prosecco available and the house wine is cheap and barely drinkable. The set up of the evening entertainment is very poor. Kids disco followed by the show in the roomy ampethetr, but that then closes down and everyone has to pack their belongings and move across the resort to the outside bar for the live music where there are probably 1/4 of the number of chairs available. People were walking round unable to get a seat and ended up giving up and going to bed. Make much more
