Manchester West Didsbury

Hotel was ok, little run down and not very clean. Ideal location for didsbury.

Used this as a base for going to the Co op live, as much more cost effective than staying in the city.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and more than adequate for what I needed. I liked the fact that there was a shower and a bath. The breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choice. The sound insulation from the outside traffic is good. I noticed that a large amount of 'learner' drivers were using the hotel car park for practice. That did worry me a bit as they were going in and out of the bays where hotel guests were parked. I found that sound insulation between rooms was not so good. I was woken at 0555 by a 'noisy' person 'stomping' across the floor above me. It was noisy enough to wake me up. There are signs in the hallway, asking people to 'tiptoe', but it was still noisy from other rooms.

Entrance ramp a little steep for wheelchairs but the overall thought behind the accessibility was excellent

We stayed here as we were competing at a sporting event nearby the following day so a good night’s sleep was very important. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, however it was too hot to be able to sleep. The details on the website were clear that there was no air conditioning, but the window only opened very slightly and the road was too noisy to leave it open all night. Fans were supplied but they just moved the hot air around. As an example of the heat, I couldn’t put make up on the next morning as it was just sliding off my face! This was a normal day in May too, I dread to think what it would be like in summer.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, room was nice and clean and the bed was comfy as you’d expect from a Premier Inn. Staff were nice and friendly offering to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future.

Everything was as we expected form a standard Premier Inn, except for the loud hum in the bedroom, which went on all night. We tended to leave the tv on when we went to sleep to mask the noise.

Convenient location, although some rooms on the side of a noisy road. Doesn't look that much outside or in communal areas but rooms perfectly adequate and very clean.
