Wow Beautiful Resort. Staff very friendly. But some improvements needed within the rooms - Kitchen there is no cooker just hob microwave and dishwasher. Bathroom no hand soap provided and need more toilet rolls etc. No hairdryer provided. Overall some improvements needed on the rooms I.e our patio doors where not sealed correctly and letting in a lot of wind and ants during one day. Although as soon as alerted reception they sent someone out to fix within a few hours that day. The resort is very far away from everything if you plan on not driving and want to visit places get shopping etc then be aware it will be expensive for Taxi,s/ Ubers unless only going 10 mins away from resort. For example we flew into Malaga airport and the drive being approx 1hr 10 minsand Taxi costing anywhere from €140-170+ depending on the driver route they take. We went off on a day trip to Gibraltar that only being 25-30 mins costing approx €39-50 again depending on driver (Ubers going to be cheaper than taxi but found them difficult to book at night) Food- There is a minimart with limited things to buy for food etc if you want to self cater there is not a lot of variety. They have all breakfast costing approx €15 with juice tea coffee included and Dinner Buffett €26 but no drinks provided you have to buy separate unless you want tap water out of the machine. Pool is cold not heated even on a rather warm day it’s still rather chilly. More entertainment for children at night bar for adults and music.

Coming to the hotel after only booking the holiday the week before…. Wasn’t too sure what to expect but WOW WOW WOW!!! What a beautiful hotel… the apar**ent was spotless… staff were so friendly. Entertainment was fab, my children loved it! We all had the most amazing time!! Felt so safe being there. Already looking at coming back again soon! 3 nights wasn’t enough… definitely need a week here next time ☺️ Location is quite far out but we rented a car, not that we needed to leave the hotel.

I gave 4 stars based on the bargain price I paid for our break (£2000 for 2 weeks self catering for 5 people including flights). If I had paid more I would have had higher expectations and would have probably given 3 stars I was worried prior to our visit by previous reviews citing rude staff, poorly maintained buildings, etc etc. I would like to reassure other families like ours (who just want a safe comfy base to stay whilst exploring the local area) that we found the resort absolutely fine for this purpose and we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. In my opinion many of the negative English reviews/and moaning guests were unjustified and from English families who didn't research the resort first. If you hire a car as we did the resort makes an affordable base in a good location to explore up and down the coast at a very reasonable cost. If you do not have a car, it's in a fairly quiet location with very limited options to eat and explore within walking distance so probably not the spot for you. Our experience of the resort overall was good. Staff in reception were helpful and polite and spoke good English. Particularly Roberto and Maria who were very friendly and helpful. We did not eat on resort so cannot comment on restaurant staff. The pools were nice, there were not enough sunbeds but this did not affect us as we only go to the pool to swim after a day out, not to sit around all day. The main pool had a lovely view of the sea and gibraltar. Views at sunset were spectacular. The buildings and grounds were obviously beautiful at one point. They are still fine for the price we paid, but getting the fountains and water features back up and running would improve the look of the resort considerably. However this is reflected in the low prices charged. Our apar**ent was a 2 bedroom one looking out over the entertainment plaza and the sea. We enjoyed the views from the balcony at breakfast and in the evenings. The apar**ent was spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms which suited us as a large family with older children. There was no lift in our apar**ent block which was fine for us with older children, it may have been trickier for those with small children. The aircon in the apar**ent was excellent. We did not go down to the entertainment but enjoyed several of the shows and quizzes from our balcony. Contrary to other English reviewers, we felt the entertainment team worked hard to make the entertainment accessible to the wide variety of nationalities staying in the resort. Paying for the safety deposit box was an annoying extra expense. I was already aware of the £200 room deposit so expected this. Paying for parking is also pricy, we parked in the road outside for free and would recommend doing so unless you have mobility issues. Our only real complaint about the resort is the cleaning crew. You are meant to have cleaners in every 5 days. On our 5th day someone had obviously been into our apar**ent as the curtains had been open

We booked this hotel via On the beach, our deal included flights from our local airport to Malaga and transfers from the airport to the hotel. We were allocated room 5004, the reception staff were friendly and explained the resort to us. Finding the room was difficult though, but eventually we found the entrance in to the block. The room, or rather apar**ent was very spacious, and was generally quite clean. However, we noticed there were a lot of cobwebs in the corners of every room and a thick layer of dust on the lampshades. The room didn't feel dirty but it could had been cleaner. We stayed half board; the breakfast was the same each morning but plenty of food available. The evening meals changed every evening slightly, we thought the food was generally good - the buffet area is small but there is enough food for everyone including a children's area. During breakfast juice/hot drinks are available included, in the evening only water is included. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, however the restaurant could had been a bit cleaner as well; we noticed food debris remained on the floor for a few days. Our children loved the kids club and nightly entertainment - the entertainment team were brilliant, especially Julia who we were sad to see go towards the end of August. The views from the hotel were incredible, absolutely stunning. We only used the larger pool area, we thought the small pool area was a bit too deep for our children; but the large pool was clean and a good temperature. However, my big gripe with the hotel was that there was not enough sun beds or parasols available - every morning at 9.30am a large queue would form waiting for the gate to the pool to open at 10am in order to grab sunbeds - it was so bad that one morning we witnessed an argument between guests. Even the staff admitted there was not enough sunbeds, for the space available around both pools there really is no excuse from the hotel. Some guests were complaining to the lifeguard, it really was a major disappoin**ent with the hotel. By 10.05am every morning all the sunbeds had been taken. It was a disgrace that guests had to lie their towels on the mud/grass by the pool. To the hotel manager - get more sunbeds, no excuses. The hotel is huge and some parts of it does need repairs, for example some of the walls have large cracks on walls and in a few areas there are loose and dangerous paving slabs. It must had looked great when it was built, but now the fountain areas around some of the accommodation blocks look run down and are unused. The hotel has large areas that are unused, for instance the area around the Circus/entertainment area and the large paving area above the kids club - an idea could be to add sunbeds to these and make them an adults only area for example, take the pressure of the sunbeds at the pool. We did not have a car and was reliant on taxis to get around the area - for most days we were happy to lounge around the pool and sunbathe, but on

Family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Clean, comfortable apar**ent with good air con! Wonderful views and good food. I particularly liked the kitchen cleaning kit so you didn't have to get stuff just to wash up the few items we used. Some entertainment in the evenings and in the mornings. The staff were excellent! They were helpful and friendly and got to know the guests quickly. Yes, you definitely need a car to get around to visit some of the stunning beaches in the area and avoid taxis which can add up. The pools were busy and as we went in to full school holiday mode it was more difficult to get sun beds but that is the same at any holiday hotel. Paid the deposit at check in and it was returned with a couple of days of getting home. Overall, thought the hotel was lovely and would recommend in the future. Had a wonderful time!

This was a simple clean low cost apar**ent with plenty of room, a kettle, a small cleaning pack and a balcony with a fantastic view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We arrived late on a Saturday night and was greeted by reception staff. The lady was very friendly and assisted all questions that we had. We had free parking on site as we hired a vehicle from the airport. We did not know about the £200 deposit to be paid on arrival, however this was refunded when we left. We were allocated our apar**ent which was a view over looking the rock of Gibraltar. The room had everything we needed, however this was a little outdated and could do with a paint. Beds were comfortable and had a great nights sleep with air con in the room The pool was very large and clean, only thing they could do with more sun beds around the pool, however there was plenty of seating by the bar area. There is entertainment every evening apart from a Tuesday, the entertainers were were friendly especially Sergio who was assisting us when the entertainment was starting (star of the shows). A lot of entertainment throughout the days for the children and entertainment in the evenings for adults. The pool bar was a little expensive for certain alcoholic drinks, but the drinks are all branded alcohol and tasted amazing Overall a very positive holiday and will definitely return

Hotel had great views over to Sotogrande, Gibraltar and even Africa on clear days. Apar**ents were fine, clean with good air con, but no oven! Had food first night as got there late, an overpriced buffet (23€ per adult) that didn’t include drinks with not a great choice, so ate out or cooked rest of the week. Drinks also fairly expensive compared to local bars and restaurants. Pool area was good, but the lack of sunbeds with only approx 80 available for a capacity of 200 people, meant most days were lying on our towels on the grass uncomfortably. Location is on a hill away from shops so a car is needed. There was a restaurant at the bottom of the hill by the beach but we ventured a bit further to the local marinas 10 minutes away which had a good choice of bars/ restaurants. Felt the parking charge to park by your room was excessive. A little gripe, I mislaid my iwatch on our last day by the pool. When I asked at reception, I was informed nothing had been handed in and that I should ask lifeguard next day (which I couldn’t as we were leaving early next morning). I tracked my watch, showed reception and it was located a few miles down the road in the same area that the lifeguard lived (informed by reception!) I got reception to phone the lifeguard who said he had it and ‘forgot’ to hand it to their lost property!! Hmmm. As I was leaving next morning, I had to drive that night to collect it from him, even though it was his fault he allegedly forgot to hand it in. There was no offer of bringing it back to the hotel, and not much of an apology when I collected it from him. The hassle of this and the 50 minute round trip to collect it severely lowered my experience of this hotel. Overall, for what we paid it was ok. Would I go back? Probably not.
