Excellent Mara Lodge. High point was the entire staff who was very gracious and helpful. Ideal for Veg _ amazing spread including no onion no garlic choices at all BLD buffets. Chef Douglas was ultra mindful and arranged a special Veg choice for our Bush Breakfast post our Balloon Safari. Home made taste of Rice Poha with Eggless PanCakes. Surprisingly the curio shop had right priced and good quality artifacts which usually is never the case at such star resorts. Ofcourse the Tents, the setting is picture perfect

We had the most wonderful honeymoon at Sarova Mara Game Camp. From the moment we arrived, the bell hop kindly helped us with our luggage to our tent & Ruth on reception welcomed us with a big smile & answered all of our questions. The game drives were brilliant, we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, hyena as well as baboons, tree hyraxes, banded mongooses near the lodge. The tent was very spacious, clean & modern with a warm power shower - the tents have been renovated and upgraded in the last few months. Nicholas looked after us at meal times in the restaurant, even gathering the guitar player & other waiting staff to sing us a celebratory song for us on our last night. Brian is the activities co-ordinater & made sure we had the best time in between game drives. Brian organised fishing & archery for my husband as well as arranging a fun game in the evening to get guests to make friends with other guests. Thank you so much for having us to stay in your tropical paradise & for making our stay so special!

What an amazing hotel that truly thinks of everything. We were greeted with cool towels and then Ruth at the front desk made check in so easy. Every meal was delicious and Damaris went above and beyond for my GF meals. The massage was the perfect end to our stay. We will definitely be back.

We just spent 4 nights at the Sarova Mara Game Camp. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel. At the Maasai Mara there are hundreds of hotels and game drives so choosing one can be overwhelming. Here is why we chose Sarova Mara Game Camp and why it proved to be the right choice: 1) Location. This game camp is inside the entrance to the reserve. This makes a big difference, as it significantly cuts down driving time when doing the game drives (the main reason to be there). 2) Quality of accommodation. We have a Club tent and these tents are spaced out among lush vegetation giving you a lot of privacy. The tents were well appointed and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. 3) Food. This is an all-inclusive hotel so the quality of the food is important. We had read many reviews praising the quality of the food and it didn't disappoint. Meals are served buffet style with plenty of options. My vegetarian wife was very pleased with the daily selection of vegetarian dishes. 4) Service. This is where this hotel really shines. All the staff were incredibly gracious and helpful to us. Special mention to Nelson, Rolex, Jackson, and Damaris. They were just wonderful.
