Holiday Inn Hotels in Melbourne

The hotel's location is great, making it super convenient for getting around. It's very close to the train station, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, with good facilities, and the staff provides excellent service.

Staying right next to the airport is incredibly convenient. There's a pedestrian walkway, and you can easily follow the signs to reach the hotel in about 10 minutes. No need to wait for the hotel's free shuttle. If you're going back to the airport, you can walk the same way; however, they charge 3 AUD per person for airport drop-off. I returned my rental car at the airport and then went to the hotel, saving a day's car rental fee. The breakfast is pretty standard, nothing special, so I wouldn't recommend specifically choosing it. Downstairs, there's a McDonald's and a convenience store at the gas station.

Excellent service provided at reception. We were provided with Shaving Kits, Toothbrushes and Toothpaste. We were allowed to check-in early since we arrived on an early morning flight. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a buffet style breakfast including eggs cooked to order and a freshly squeezed vegetable/fruit juice from carrots, beetroot and green apple.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, about a 3-minute walk to the free tram. The decor is stylish, and there are plenty of dining options, convenience stores, and brand-name shops nearby. It's also super easy to get to Chinatown and other attractions. The only minor issue is that during normal hours, an Uber can only drop you off nearby, and then you have to walk to the hotel. The hotel itself doesn't have a laundry room, which can be a bit inconvenient for long trips. Other than that, I was very satisfied.
