Hotels near Grotta in Metropolitan City of Turin

This was our third visit to this hotel and as always we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our allocated room was not very good but it was changed quickly and easily by the front desk staff. The replacement room was good and modern. The only complaint we have is that the shower cubicle is far too small. Large people will have great difficulty getting in and out let alone actually washing. Additionally the hotels location is good, being close the Porta Susa railway station. No need for a taxi. The restaurant across the road is recommended as is the Sushi restaurant just around the corner at the top of the Via Cernaia. Turin is nice city with not too many tourists and wealth of excellent places to see and places to eat at. We have been visiting Turin for 16 years as our son lives here - we love it. Enjoy your stay.

Staff were great and so helpful! Lovely breakfast and really nice room! Easy access to the centre of Turin. Food store close by and a really nice restaurant. Definitely recommend you stay! No complaints at all!

What a brilliant hotel - a real unexpected gem. We stayed here in Turin for 4 nights and were honestly blown away by the quality of this hotel - especially as it was within budget. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, very modern, and even boasts a fabulous rooftop solarium that has Bali beds, a hammock, sun beds and a jacuzzi pool. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, a large, immaculate bathroom - and black out shutters that provided a wonderfully in disturbed sleep. Our room was silent - no noise from outside or from other guests. It was cleaned to a high standard every day and was immaculate in every way. It’s been one of our favourite stays anywhere to date. The staff are friendly, helpful and a real joy to interact with. We happily sat at night in one of the two lounge areas and felt relaxed and happy there. There were so many lovely touches that just made our stay extra special. and we really didn’t want to leave! We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone who might be going to Turin on a city break or for business. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really sizeable and offer good value. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all super friendly(speaking English) and helpful. The hotel is 100 meters from the very efficient subway system which we used to get to the historic centre and to and from dinner - as easiest to avoid trying to find a parking spot in town for the car (the hotel offers free parking). The hotel complex in the old FIAT factory includes a shopping mall, supermarket, the roof race track an art museum and a conference centre.

We stayed for two nights 22-23/04/2023 below I leave my feedback for the next clients: Rooms (5th and last floor): I pretend to have paid €345 per night (SOLL Night) for a four-fold, though at the check-in one of the two colleagues (no Mr Rodolfo, the other) told us to have booked a junior suite (at the same price), nothing but a mansard (an annex photos called ”Camera” and ”Camera1”) The junior suites and the four-site suites are structured differently (sale and more ambients...). We were awake early morning always with a strong odour of cooking for what they were preparing for breakfast. No channels ”pay per view” ... Rooms, cleaning: Let the photos speak (an annex photos called ”Camera2”, ”Camera3” and ”Camera4”).... Bad: nothing special except the very necessary (an annex photos called ”Badroom”). Frokost (pays €7 per person): in general, nothing special. Thanks to the sympathetic Nicolas and the educated and careful servant. To finish, the price is not refundable, compared to 22/23 April dates of the stay, They charged me the total amount clearly before: 12 Open, NOT VID!! In fact for what I paid: I'll NOT ARE TO GO WERE ...

This stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms are of a good size and don't feel cramped in them, thwy are clean and organised. The bathroom is also of a good size with all amenities avaialble with good toiletries at hand. The beds are also of a good size and comfortable mattresses help you to a good night sleep. All in all it is a very good hotel worth the money.

This is hotel really lives up to its 4 stars, and it’s such good value for money. It’s situated right next to the cathedral and is easy walking distance of everything. The architecture is stunning. The receptionist was charming, and made every effort to accommodate us, especially as my husband has a disability. Access and parking were easy. The rooms are well equipped with different glasses, cups, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine (this is Turin) , well stocked mini bar, fluffy towels, very comfy bed. The bar is pleasant and there is an atrium garden for when it’s warmer. Our dinner in the restaurant was interesting: it’s modern Italian cooking, but good and reasonably priced. If you want traditional Piedmontese food there is a square around the corner with multiple bars and restaurants. At our request the receptionist arranged a private car tour of Turin because my husband cannot walk very far. All done with efficiency and charm. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough.

We stayed 4 nights in this Hotel in May 2022. Paid quite a high price during those periods, possibly because of many concerts/matches and the fact not many hotels available around those dates made us choose this one. Temperature was around 26-30 degC during our stay. So the room was very hot. There is no fan, we have to open the window throughout the day to get some fresh air. However at night there were so much noises across the street, people were shouting, traffic, noises from the cars buzzing around really disturbed my quality of sleep. Wifi in the room was also very weak and I had always problems accessing wifi from my laptop (sometimes i need to be online to check my work emails/meetings). The room was also a bit old, interior is kind of dusty and maintenance can be done a lot better to improve the quality of guest stay. I came to Turin to watch a concert and expecting a calm/relaxed holiday. Had i known the situation earlier I would not book this hotel and choose rather calm, a bit outside of the city that allow us to rest after long day exploring in Turin. One thing that was good is the reception worker is very polite and tried their best to help us with information.

Very good location - just next to the train station and bus stop to the airport. Easy check-in, nice reception staff. Large bathroom with a shower. Room size was enough for me. I needed a no-frills room for just one night - it suited me and the price was OK. The cons: - the facilities in the room are bit oldish, - the bedcover could be cleaner. I got the room with a window to via XX Settembre and it was very noisy.
