Premier Inn Ayr/Prestwick Airport

Cheap option for May Bank holiday. Lukewarm reception and welcome. Room was clean but TV not working right. This place is a reminder of the difference between old skool Premier inn and the new version 2.0. This one had stains on carpet beside bed, which is never nice. Brewers Fayre has a giant soft play, if that's your thing. Handy for Troon and Prestwick.

Booked knowing it was a budget hotel. Came in very late from a wedding the heater in the room was broken. The room was freezing making for an uncomfortable night.

My second stay here walked in for a reservation and i got great service and nothing was too much bother. Rooms are tired and need upgrading but clean. WiFi is still shocking for todays world. I went for a drink next door but never ate. Seevice was ok.

Booked a much needed night away and it was perfect, room was clean had a kettle and so you could grab yourself a cuppa and relax, will definitely book again at somepoint, we stayed in the ayr/prestwick

We have stayed here several times before when in the area visiting friends. Hotel has become very tired looking but was clean and had all necessities. Good parking, close to convenience stores and Brewers Fayre is on site. Could do with being more mobility friendly as there’s no lift and no grab rails for using shower over bath

We stayed in room 28. The floorboards from the room above were so creaky we were all woken up at 4am. The noise continued until 6am when the people in the room above eventually left. The room was dated and had a musty smell to it. I think it was the carpet. The bathroom was also very dated and had stains on the floor around the toilet. I also had to request new towels as ours had stains on them and didnt smell very fresh. The room needs a good refurb. I won't be staying again. Not the usual standard for Premier Inn.

The staff were absolutely amazing, we were there to visit a sick relative and the lovely restaurant staff put a care package together for us including snacks and even wet wipes so we wouldn't get hungry, The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. I couldn't rate this stop over higher, the staff are a credit to the company

Hard place to find. Post code and Sat nav don't get you close enough and the hotel is hidden away behind a garage a good distance away from sat nav destination. Room looks clean till steam from shower high lights dirty mirror and tiles. They give you a card saying breakfast is served between 7 am and 11 am on a Sunday but neglect to tell you that cooked breakfasts stop at 10:45. When I sought a refund the lady on reception agreed it was misleading, agreed to refund my money but didn't know how to do it on the " new" computer system. She advised I just go ahead and check out and she would sort it out when her colleague came on shift later. Said she'd send me an E mail to confirm. I've never received that E mail.

Stayed here as attending family event locally. Comfy accommodation, tasty breakfast. very enjoyable stay. Reasonably priced. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Easy check in, plenty of parking. Very enjoyable stay.
