The B&B, named 'Zen', truly lives up to its name – it's incredibly quiet and peaceful, a perfect place for introspection. Our little one had an absolute blast here. It was the perfect ending to our Chinese New Year trip! The service, whether from the older lady or the younger woman, was absolutely wonderful and incredibly warm-hearted. They were so thoughtful, and we'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

We had a wonderful time at Home of Mountains. The rooms, and the hotel itself, were beautifully decorated and very clean. Every day there was a varied breakfast and a lovingly prepared afternoon tea. Coffee lovers will also be happy here; there are several special coffees to try. The staff and the owner were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were given tips for the surrounding attractions, so that even though the scenic area was closed one day due to bad weather, we were able to explore the area. There is a pool on the hotel grounds that you can use at any time—perfect for cooling off after a day in the mountains. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the scenic area, and even from the grounds you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We can absolutely recommend the hotel; if we come to the area again, it would definitely be our first choice. Thank you for the wonderful time!

A comfy, no frills Chinese inn managed by a husband and wife team. The lady owner was informative and helped me to plan the best routes to hike as well as enjoy the Danxia Mountains. She even assisted me to purchase a discounted ticket for the Danxia night cruise. Inn's location is located near the Danxia main gate as well as eateries. Perfect Chinese hospitality. Truly a home away from home. TIP: Non locals including foreigners who flew into Guangdong province within the last 10 days and can show their air tickets at the ticket counter can get a free 2 day visit to the Danxia Mountains. Information is accurate as at January 2026.

Very clean and warm hotel. Very big room, huge window and view to the mountains. New double windows, so very quiet. Good beds and linen, good shower. The owners are extremely helpful. The girl made us 2 days itinerary with suggestions which places to go and which routes to use. She printed out the whole A4 text that was really helpful and made markings on the mountain map. We followed only her suggestions and without them it had been difficult decide where to go. The guy ordered us car to Shaoguan city, paid for it with his Wepay app and we paid him back using Alipay! It was so helpful of him to do it, because Alipay showed prices at around 150 RMB, Wechat only 58! We as foreigners couldn't download Wechat. Very good hotel, when visiting Danxia Mountains!

Great brand, high quality, Ramada is excellent. The location is superb, close to tourist attractions, and the parking lot is large. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a business room, which I really appreciate. The room was spacious, well-equipped, clean, and the service quality was high. The restaurant on the third floor has good dishes, and the breakfast on the second floor offers a wide variety of options.

Highly recommended! **Pros:** * Parking is completely free with no restrictions on space or time. * The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly, granting my request for a late check-out until 2 PM. **Things to note:** * This is a large hotel, and the corridors on each floor can be quite long. If you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, it's a good idea to request a room closer to the elevator when you check in.

When we arrived at the address given by City Comfort Inn we’re stunned to find the place an abandoned building. For a minute we thought we’re victims of a hotel scam. But a call to the hotel quickly sorted out the actual location which was just a little down the road. The hotel seemed to be newly renovated with clean rooms and well maintained facilities. However what we loved most was the location of the hotel. It was practically next door to the Shaoguan East Railway station & the bus station. From here we easily caught a bus to Danxia Mountain. At night we enjoyed walking to and along the FengDu Lu BuXingJie for our dinner. The next morning it was a breeze making our way to the Shaoguan Railway Station to take our train back to Guangzhou City Comfort Inn fitted naturally and perfectly into our itinerary!

This hotel has great surroundings and facilities, but it's let down by the details, and the management is consistently disappointing. I booked a room with a private hot tub specifically for a relaxing hot spring trip. On the first night, the hot spring water wasn't hot enough (staying below 34°C). I called the front desk, and they sent an engineer to fix it (which took an hour). By then, it was quite late, so I didn't get to soak for long. I thought it would be fine the next morning, and I could have a good soak after breakfast, but to my surprise, even after running the hot water for half an hour, it still hadn't reached 30°C. So, I called the front desk twice more to report the issue (it's worth noting that the phone in the room was completely useless, so I had to use my own cell phone for all communications). And guess what? The engineer didn't arrive for another hour, by which point I had completely lost interest. This has been the worst hotel experience I've had in all my years of using Trip.com.

The most comfortable hotel to stay in during the May Day holiday🏨, the hotel lobby is very unique, the lady with work number 10282 is cordial, the room facilities are complete, the small details are full of Zen, the scenery outside the balcony is really refreshing, soaking in a radon hot spring to relieve fatigue, the Jade Guanyin statue of Zizaitian is eye-opening, and there are many surprises when hiking through the back mountain of the blessing square, full of negative ions! Children can observe the beauty of the peacock's open tail up close, and the elders like the sea of ​​roses of various colors. I recommend this hotel worth a second visit!

During this leisurely trip, the attentive service from room butler Zhang Wei made us feel incredibly warm, and his meticulously planned two-day itinerary was especially thoughtful. The scenic area was breathtakingly beautiful, with the Rainbow Cable Car winding through the green mountains like a magnificent ribbon suspended in the sky. The leisurely rafting and exhilarating horseback riding were both unique experiences. The local dining was affordable, and in the evening, two bowls of comforting soup were thoughtfully provided. Everything here was unforgettable, and I look forward to returning for this wonderful trip.
