The location of the hotel is excellent and close to the city center, the hotel is characterized by calm and comfort and helpful staff, the room is rather small, but for one person it is very suitable and the furniture is new and clean and very close to a metro station through which you can easily move around the city The not good things There is no refrigerator in the room and there is also one common door to the toilet and taking a shower

1. The location of the hotel is very good, walk to the city center attractions for half an hour. 2. There are several small supermarkets around the hotel, which are quite convenient, but they close too early. 3. The hotel has a parking lot, and the cost of a day is 10 Euros. 4. The area of the room is quite large, and there is a balcony, which is quite satisfactory. There are electric fans and small sofas in the house. But it's rather depressing to not drink a cup. 5. The interior of the hotel is relatively quiet, and the surrounding noises are occasionally heard, but there is no effect.

I chose the hotel based on its location, the hotel located just 20 minutes by foot from the bus station and old town. It’s a budget hotel so you shouldn’t expect much, however everything was nice for it’s price: friendly staff, a clean room, nice breakfast. There was only one bottle of water for two people and no toiletries (only all-in-one gel) so make sure to bring your own. It was a big noise at day and in the evening, but at night nothing bothered me. Overall I would say that it’s pretty nice hotel for a short trip.

A really lovely hotel, 24 hour check in was handy, room was a great size and the kitchenette was handy if staying longer. Really close to train station but in a nice quiet area and quick into the city. Would stay again if ever visiting Munich. Beds all comfy and staff friendly.

I was a bit unsure whether or not I should book this hotel as it had some mixed reviews, but I took the chance. The hotel is located just a few meters from Sendlinger Tor which is just one metro stop away from Munich central station. Sendlinger Tor is a hub serving six metro lines and four tram lines. You also have a large number of bars, restaurants and shops in close walking distance from the hotel. Check-in was hassle free and the receptionist was very friendly although he could barely speak a word of English. Kinda strange when you work at a hotel in a major city. The single room was much bigger than the impression I got from the pictures. It had a large bed, table with a chair, a shelf for your luggage, an ensuite bathroom and even a private balcony. The hotel reception is open 24/7, but guests don't get their own key to the main entrance. At night, the receptionist has to open the door for you. This is where things went wrong for me at my first night. After going to one of the bars in the area, I got home at night with no receptionist present. I rang the door bell and knocked on the door and windows around the reception but nobody was there. I think I waited for almost half an hour before I gave up and decided to search for alternative entrances. Luckily I found a fire door in the backyard that I managed to get open so I could get to my room for a good night's sleep. I complained about this to the staff in the morning and they apologised for the inconvenience and promised to take this up with the receptionists on the night shift. I paid around €350 for three nights, which I think was a reasonable price for the stay. All in all, I was happy with my stay here but I can't give it more than 3/5 stars due to the inconvenience being locked out at night because the receptionist was suddenly gone.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Don't let the photos, high stars and several good reviews trick you, like they tricked my husband and I. Initially when we booked our room we expected a spacious and clean 1 + 1 room with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. But when we were at the reception, one of the staff members explained to us that we had gotten a completely different room because ”they don't give out rooms based on pictures” but rather instead have their own system of stages or levels and you don't even know which exact room you get when booking. They claim the one we booked was a tiny room that could barely fit my family of four and several luggages (we had been traveling overseas for a month).There wasn't even any space to walk between the beds or between the luggages, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't even close the door because our room was so small. The bathroom was infested with bugs on the ceiling and walls, the whole place smelled of obnoxiously strong perfume to mask the disgusting odor of meat previously cooked in the kitchen and throughout the whole ”stage”, and most bothersome of all, neither my family and I nor our luggages could fit in our small room. After explaining that we wouldn't be able to spend almost a week in this room, I spent over an hour trying to convince the people working at the reception to either give us our originally booked room or refund our money back and they said they couldn't do EITHER of them because the hotel was fully booked and since we paid online it wouldn't have been possible to give us our money back. What a scam! After a while of arguing, they finally agreed to let us stay one night in the room we paid for in the first place and refunded the rest of the money to us. My husband and I spent the rest of our day searching for a new hotel during the busiest time in Munich when every hotel was fully booked for the next few days. (In case you were wondering, we were able to find one that we loved for the rest of our vacation.) If our troubles only stopped there I wasn't going to take my time to write this review, but unfortunately the hotel staff and management had to disappoint me once again! The breakfast was not very good and the food was minimal, but more than that I felt like we were in the middle of a forest full of bees and flies, both outdoors and indoors. Not just one, but more than enough to prevent us from eating in peace. My kids kept screaming, and the jars of jam were full of bees. I informed a staff member and she brought back another jar in 5 minutes and I got some jam in time before it would be full of those bees again. If the doors of the hotel hadn't been open the whole time for them to come inside we wouldn't have had this problem. To make matters worse, my eldest daughter had been feeling sick for a few days and started feeling worse that morning, so her dad took her to get medical treatment leaving only me and my 8 year old daughter behind. This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

First time to Germany and Octoberfest and can say this hotel is in a great location. A lot of great experiences including Octoberfest and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. Pros: Location Lobby/bar/restaurant (kind of all one thing but it works) Staff - most spoke English well enough to understand you. They were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast- My wife was not impressed but I thought it was better than typical ”continental” breakfast you get in a US hotel. Not obvious but they have a carafe of drip coffee near the expresso machine. Quiet - we had a courtyard room and it was very quiet. The bar/restaurant extends into the courtyard which I thought would be a problem but they have everyone come inside I think around 10 ish so we did not hear the bar noise. Cons: We had room 20 on the ground floor. Very small by U.S. standards but we expected that. The big issue was the bathroom/shower. The shower is ”enclosed” by shower curtains that have about a 3” gap at the bottom. No sill to catch water either. After showering most of the floor would be wet requiring us to utilize more towels to dry it. At first we thought maybe it was a handicap room but the second issue with bathroom negated that thought. The bathroom door is super heavy duty for some reason. I mean like probably fire proof rated. It was heavy to open and close due to the self closing mechanism. Maybe that is code in Germany but seems unnecessary to me. We had to use one of the room stools to prop it open to help air it out after showers. We stayed with several other couples and saw their rooms which had better bathroom set ups so maybe room 20 is just the one to avoid. Would stay here again just not that room.

We stayed at this nice hotel 3 nights and had a fantastic time visiting Munich and Salzburg. Hotel is very well located with easy access to the metro station. They are very friendly and willing to help you with your requests. I ordered an item before arriving to the hotel and they received it and kept it safe for me till my arrival. Breakfast is very good and plentiful with good variety. Room was very clean and warm with a good view. I will defintely recommend it and will use it again in my next visit to Munich

The check-in process was a breeze. The staff were very helpful and polite. Location - The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the main station in Munich. The area is not the best and I would probably not recommend a late-night walk but the convenience makes up for it. All the tram and bus lines are within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There’s a supermarket next door and loads of food options around. Rooms - The rooms were large with twin beds, a tv, a minibar, a kettle, a large desk and a wardrobe. The air conditioning worked really well. You can use the mobile phone to open the room door.. although it didn’t work on the elevator. Might be easier to just use the key card. There are plug points near the bed. Wi-Fi was super fast. The view wasn’t great. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t large but had a tub. The water was hot and the water pressure was great. The only area of concern was when I placed the Do Not Disturb sign on my door before heading out for the day (as I didn’t want my room cleaned), when I got back I found that my room had, in fact, been cleaned - this was a huge issue for me as there were many valuable items left around (and no one should have entered the room either way).
