We have stayed here several times while visiting the Myrtle Beach area. It is very conveniently located right off 17 in Murrel's Inlet south away from the tourist swarms, madness and traffic of Myrtle Beach itself. Usual good hot breakfast, friendly staff, pleasant hot tub/spa (outdoors) for afternoon soaking after a day out on the town. Clean rooms, housekeeping every 4th day or by request on long stays. Many area food places close by. The street behind hotel goes to 707 which allows you to get more quickly across the jam packed area. Front driveway off 17 enters only from north so have to go around the block if coming from the south, like Pawley's Island or such. Quiet, peaceful more mature guests. Can't go wrong.

The room had a couple of mold spots on the ceiling, and the floor had some spots where it looked like it had been half mopped. As far as the location goes, it was just right. The only other problem that I had was the breeze way, the parking lot, the elevators were not cleaned, and they had no complimentary breakfast for the guest. Also, it smelt like **** the whole time there, and the pools were always crowded. All and all it was a good stay.

The room was very clean; the air conditioner was low noise and very satisfied; the kitchen utensils were all available, and there was a refrigerator for four people for a few days. We truly enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable. We loved having the balcony to sit on and enjoy the beach and sound of the waves. We really didn’t need to leave the hotel often. The restaurant was open all day with specials and Happy Hour. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Sharon, bartender, treated us like visiting friends. The pool and pool area were clean and well maintained. The hallways were clean and the staff were very friendly. King and the other housekeepers on our floor greeted us when in the hallway on the 5th floor.

Obviously wrote the sea view room, the hotel said that he could see the － sea room type on the balcony, and the bed was very uncomfortable! Too soft! Stayed for 5 days and did not clean one day! We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn! The hotel is centrally located for lots of activities including golf, dinners at Market Common, exploring Murrells Inlet and Brookgreen Gardens. It's less than an hour to Pawleys Inlet and Georgetown SC as well. And of course, Myrtle Beach itself is on your doorstep. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Check-in was a breeze. All the hotel amenities were explained to us in detail. Everyone we encountered at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Julian, our breakfast server. The lobby is beautiful - very bright and light, with plenty of seating throughout. The free coffee in the morning is a definite plus. We had a package that included a great hot breakfast to order, but we would have had no hesitation purchasing it separately as the prices were reasonable and the food plentiful. There is also a convenient market area with snacks, beverages, etc. including beer and wine. Our King bedroom was huge and spotlessly clean. Everything was in great working condition such as the TV, mini fridge, and bathroom. The mattress was particularly comfortable! On Day 3, we asked Housekeeping to refresh our towels, empty trash (although we subsequently noticed that there were large recycling and trash cans conveniently located by the ice machine) and they arrived quickly. The room was quiet, with good quality blackout shades, that provided a great environment for a good night's sleep. We would have no hesitation staying here again!
