When arriving it was not easy to find the reception, which is located in the restaurant, next to a huge bar in a corner. Entering the space, there were a few people in the room - nobody seemed to be part of the hotel or anyhow related to the hotel (nobody greeted or said anything, it was totally unclear whether they are just some random people, guests or the like). As it turns out, there was the senior owner (and elderly lady) and two bartenders/restaurant service). A receptionist was not around and I was asked to wait - which is OK.
After fifteen minutes of waiting I asked again for the reptionist, and another 5 minutes later the receptionist showed up. Totally fitting the first impression when I entered the place, she did not greet nor said anything but something like "you are the one that already rang the bell at the garage entry?". During the check in I asked whether there is coffee in the room, which was replied by an angry look and a "if you let me explain to the end I will be able to tell you" - very unfriendly. Not a good start.
At the check out there was another lady at the reception - she was very friendly and correct - would be better to let her greet the guests in the future.
The hotel is actually not a hotel but rental apartments - which was not what I expected. The room was not a room but a fairly large apartment. There was coffee in the room, but no milk, no sugar and nothing else. On Saturday after 18:00 (my checkin time) there where no shops open to buy something. So better be prepared for that.
The hotel and the restaurant belong together but are separate legal entity: you cannot consume anything on the room (everything to be paid directly in the restaurant/bar). The bar is huge - way to big compared to the total size of the restaurant area - if you like bars, that is a positive.\
The surrounding of the hotel is very noisy. Next to the hotel is another restaurant (also belonging to the same owner as the bar/hotel) with terrace open very late. No chance to sleep with the window open (and it was very warm in the room - would have been nice to open the window).
Overall: I was looking for a comfortable hotel, which is not what this location offers. If you are looking for a nice short term rental apartment, this may be a nice place (if you do not mind the noisy nights)
