Hotel near Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi,Osaka
The OneFive Osaka Namba Kuromon is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Osaka, whether for business or leisure. The hotel offers a range of convenient facilities and services designed to ensure a comfortable stay. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and all guest rooms are thoughtfully furnished and equipped with essential amenities. With its convenient location, guests can easily explore Osaka's popular attractions, shopping districts, and dining destinations.

"The location is undeniably lively and perfect for first-time visitors to Japan or Osaka. It's super convenient for transport, with popular spots like Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori just a few minutes' walk away. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and plenty of restaurants, eateries, and izakayas in the vicinity. The hotel front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are mostly Southeast Asian, and they can communicate in both Japanese and English. Overall, the facilities and environment were fine during our three-night stay, but the cleaning service was unlike anything I've encountered in Japan before. There wasn't a magnetic 'please clean' sign to put on the door for room service or linen changes. I had to go to the front desk to specifically ask for cleaning, and they replied that they just replace towels and empty bins daily at 11 AM. And that's exactly what happened – there was no further cleaning, and the bedspread wasn't tidied. This is something I really wasn't happy with."

"This place is conveniently located near Shin-Imamiya Station, close to Nishinari's attractions. Compared to Toyoko Inn 1, the facilities here are all new and clean. Pros: 1. Surprisingly good hairdryer for its small size, provided in the room. 2. Individual air conditioning in each room, allowing for separate heating and cooling control. 3. Liquid soap, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. The shared restrooms are clean. 4. Free umbrella rental at the front desk. Cons: 1. Terrible soundproofing. I recommend bringing earplugs. Even when being careful, opening and closing the room door makes noise, meaning you're exposed to all the movements of others. 2. Awful TV internet. Just don't bother turning it on. Overall: Whether you get a good night's sleep depends on the manners of your neighbors on the floor. In my case, regardless of nationality (including Koreans), everyone was cheerfully socializing with their companions in the hallway, so I just mentally let it go. Other than that, the cleanliness, location, and facilities were all satisfactory! A private room in Japan at this price is an absolute steal."

Hotel near Shinsekai,Osaka
A stylish hotel located in Shinsekai, Osaka's downtown area, about a 4-minute walk from Dobutsuenmae Station.

"This was our very first stay after arriving in Osaka, and honestly, we picked this place randomly — but it ended up being one of the best decisions for our trip. The location was absolutely incredible. It’s right in the heart of Shinsekai, one of Osaka’s main attractions, and there was literally a festival happening downstairs during our stay. The atmosphere was lively and exciting the moment we stepped outside. One of the best things about staying here is the convenience. Just walk downstairs and you’ll find endless restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and things to explore nearby. For a first-time visit to Osaka, especially bringing my mom along, it was such a perfect and easy introduction to the city. The hotel itself was great, and the staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone had a great attitude and genuinely helped us whenever we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually decided to extend for an extra night. We also got the breakfast package, and it was honestly excellent. There was a huge variety of food including salmon, grilled fish, soups, curry, noodles, rice, salads, pastries, coffee, tea, juices, and more. It was a really satisfying way to start the mornings before heading out to explore Osaka. The hotel also provided basically everything you would need — toothbrushes, towels, washing sponges, and other amenities, which made the stay very comfortable and convenient. Another useful feature was the luggage storage area downstairs where you could securely lock your bags if you wanted to leave them for the day before checking in or after checking out. The only thing I felt was missing was a proper lobby or lounge area for guests to relax and rest in. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka — families, couples, solo travelers, really anybody. For the location, convenience, hospitality, and overall value, it was an amazing stay and a fantastic way to begin our trip in Japan."

"Overall, the hotel isn't bad. The rooms are large and check-in was quick. We stayed for 4 nights. On the second night, the air conditioner started leaking heavily, so we had to use a trash can to catch the water. The reception staff only start at 11 AM, so when we left in the morning, there was no one there. In the evening, we informed a staff member about the AC issue, but no one ever came to fix it. This meant we barely slept for two nights. We either had to turn off the AC and suffer from the heat, or spend the night constantly emptying buckets because of the leaking water. On our last night, they finally provided a new room, and we were able to get some sleep. The windows faced a busy road, so it was very noisy with constant ambulance sirens. So, on one hand, the rooms are good and the location is good, but the soundproofing is very poor."

Centara Life Namba Hotel Osaka

"This is a brand new hotel and I was very impressed. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. There's complimentary drinking water and fresh coffee in the lobby, and the coffee is strong and delicious! The hotel has three elevators, which is super convenient. The location is great, right behind Kizu Fish Market – you just have to cross the road from the hotel. There's also a Lawson convenience store right next door. The room was clean and well-equipped. The hairdryer was powerful, and the layout of the room was good, allowing us to open two suitcases comfortably. Our room had a view of the train tracks, which was interesting to watch, but you could hear the trains passing by. The lighting in the room was excellent, with multiple adjustable lights, including white light options. They cleaned the room daily, which was a nice touch. If you're heading to the Nipponbashi or Shinsekai areas, it's about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Namba is about 20 minutes away. It's also very convenient for getting around by train, with the subway station about a 10-minute walk. We got a really good price when we booked!"

The area around Rita Hotel Namba is dotted with spots where you can fully enjoy the essence of Osaka, such as the Shinsekai area centered around Tsutenkaku, and the Namba area where you can enjoy shopping and gourmet food.It is easily accessible from Nankai Electric Railway Shin-Imamiya Station and is about 40 minutes by train from Kansai Airport, making it a convenient base for sightseeing in Osaka from both within Japan and abroad.

"Clean and modern, with good soundproofing. There's a Nitori store across the street, and a train station and large supermarket just a short walk away. The breakfast leans more towards Chinese flavors, and the dining area is spacious. They provide two bottles of water in the room, and there's also water available on the first floor. I feel this hotel is very generous with its guests. Communication with the front desk staff was smooth, whether in English or Chinese!"

"We recently stayed at ANCHORED by RIHGA Osaka Namba and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with both the service and housekeeping. When we returned to our room, one of my Gucci slippers was severely damaged and the emblem on the other slipper had come off. The slippers were almost new and had only been worn indoors. We immediately reported this to the front desk. The staff member was visibly shocked, said this was not normal, and told us she would discuss it with the manager. The next day, the attitude completely changed. The manager told us the housekeeping staff denied any involvement, and therefore no compensation or solution would be offered. We found this extremely disappointing, especially because there was barely any serious attempt to resolve the situation. This discussion also took place while our airport transfer was already waiting outside, which made the experience even more stressful and unprofessional. The manager handled the situation very poorly and dismissively. In addition, we experienced several housekeeping issues during our stay. On one day, housekeeping did not show up despite us requesting cleaning service. Upon arrival, there were also stains in the sink and dirt on the floor. The hotel location is good, but unfortunately the way complaints are handled here felt very unprofessional and dismissive."

"Unbeatable value for money, quite new, and most importantly, the price is reasonable. The small size isn't a problem. It's not far from two subway stations, just a few hundred meters away. The neighborhood is supposedly a bit unsafe, and it's true; strange people gather in front of the convenience store next door at night. There are homeless people. And there are people shouting after drinking at 3 or 4 AM."
