A large hotel in a small rural town that is very busy has to have a lot to offer. And that's exactly what it is: spacious, modern and functional rooms with balconies in the new country house, great bathrooms, first-class breakfast and an excellent restaurant. There are also differently furnished rooms in a more country house style in the older buildings, but everything is very well maintained. Plenty of parking spaces and a large, beautiful park behind the houses. We were very happy with everything, especially with the friendly and helpful service of the staff in all areas. Although the hotel is on the main road, it is very quiet at night.

We spent 4 nights here as part of a group trip. We stayed in the garden house in a very large maisonette room with 2 balconies. The double bed is wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom is beautifully bright. The furnishings are a bit dated, the carpet is partly stained, but it is still very clean apart from a few cobwebs. There are several hotel buildings on the large site. The main building houses the restaurant and some event rooms. There is also a beautiful wellness area with a large pool. The conference rooms are in the newest building. There is a wonderful park with old trees all around. A small stream rushes through it. It is a wonderful place to switch off. The nature invites you to go hiking, as there is absolute peace and quiet here. I would like to highlight the friendliness of the staff and the very committed boss. You notice that you are staying in a family-run country inn. I think it is a shame that the breakfast buffet becomes one-sided in the long run. I would like to see more emphasis placed on regional produce.

Great hotel with a very good restaurant and excellent food. The rooms are very well maintained and very clean. The biggest difference compared to comparable hotels is the staff and service. The hotel is more than recommendable. Cancellation on the day of arrival without *********** is an additional argument for booking.

The hotel is basically very nice and offers clean rooms as well as conference and training rooms in a main house and several guest houses. In addition to a swimming pool, there is also a sauna and a fitness room with corresponding wellness offers. Unfortunately, depending on the room, these are sometimes in need of renovation (room 23 guest house). However, the staff easily makes up for this and are always friendly and helpful. The parking spaces (free) in front of the house can sometimes be tight, depending on how busy the house is. The breakfast was, as always, very good.

I was actually just looking for a conveniently located stopover on the way from southern to northern Germany. But I hit the jackpot. This hotel has a surprising amount to offer. The restaurant served delicious regional food and drinks. If you want, you can even go bowling here. I was content with exploring the pool area. The pool itself offers more than just a pool of water, with a few jets and bubbling facilities. There are also 2 saunas, an infrared sauna and a steam bath for free use. Everything is very pleasant and attractive and kept clean. My room had more than I expected. The furniture shows that you are not staying in the center of Frankfurt, but everything has the charm of a Hessian country hotel that is run with great care. Small TV, OK, but for example a nail file, kettle, balcony, safe, refrigerator, some regional reading material are features that you don't find in every standard room. However, I would particularly like to highlight the breakfast buffet, which once again leaves nothing to be desired with great attention to detail and also offers hearty Hessian cuisine and not just the meaningless standard cold cuts that you find in every hotel. And I was even more impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Here you are not processed and rushed through, but are always spoken to and served in a friendly, personal manner. So I am really delighted - even though I also like to complain. This chance find in the middle of Germany will now become a permanent part of my travels because you can take a great break here and recharge your batteries. This review may read in parts like an advertising copy that someone was paid to write. In fact, it is just an expression of my enthusiasm. And after the Corona period, many hotels desperately need a bit of a tailwind and I would like to give that to this hotel.

Basically a very nice hotel in a very good location... I was in the area on business and chose this hotel because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately, I discovered that no value was placed on "young" guests at check-in and especially in the restaurant. For some unknown reason, it was not possible to sit outside despite there being many free seats, so I sat alone inside with a couple... So after I went from my room to the restaurant "reception", waiters walked past me several times without even noticing me, let alone asking why I was "just standing around" at the entrance. All in all, a nice hotel, but if you are under 50 or for some unknown reason do not look "competent" enough, you have to fight for attention and still do not get the same service as other people around you...

Ich komme nicht oft, aber regelmäßig hierher. Und ich bin jedes Mal auf's neue begeistert. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schöne Zimmer. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Engagiertes und hilfsbereites Personal Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Der Saibling ist mein Favorit!
