Sifting Sands Motel

It is very close to the beach, they allowed us to check in early, they have a heated pool and it was open in Sept along with the grill in the pool area which made it great for us to cook meals. Nice setup with 2 queen size beds in our room made the stay very enjoyable.

This was a convenient location. Its probably an older hotel, simple but it's cared for and the staff was fantastic. It's close to boardwalk at 9th street and a couple blocks to Asbury ave.

Location was fantastic, easy parking, AC unit was great, has fridge and small kitchen. Everything was clean. Beds were not the most comfortable but overall a great price for what it was.

Place was yucky. Disgusting carpets. Dirty shower and bathroom. No curtains and blinds had many missing prongs. My parents stayed one room over and their non smoking room smelled like a smokers ashtray covered in perfume. Son rolled on carpet and was bitten by something in several areas under his clothes and bites swelled up and ruined our beach day. Stayed here several years back and it was clean and well maintained. Don’t recommend.

Nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and very close to the beach. Room was ready way earlier than expected which was nice. Pool was nice compared to others we've been at. Price for the room was a little expensive in my opinion but overall decent.

Location was good... 2 blocks to the beach. The room (#34) was clean and the ac worked great. The pullout couch could use a better mattress. The freezer kept ice frozen. The parking spots are tight.

Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Very convenient location in the middle of all of OCNJ action. Room space was larger than expected. Shower and sink hardware were poor, falling apart. Freezer was full of frost and not usable. Room was clean but trundle bed very uncomfortable. I believe these are individually owned so may be up to the owners to maintain. We were in unit 47.

Great location, awesome service, and clean. Offered more than we expected from a motel (toiletries, grill for BBQ, coffee, dinnerware). Would def stay again!

Each unit is individually owned so Depending on what room you will get it will be stocked differently. Expect to use your own towels for beach (their shower towels are small). Great location, great price. Pro’s: -Check-in was easy. -Air conditioner worked very nicely. -pool is perfect & heated. There's even a grill there. -Beach passes included. -2 blocks from beach (we found our beach cart useful if you could fit in car). you are in the heart of it all, on 9th Street. Action is 6th - 14th street. -had most of kitchen amenities (no wine glasses or wine bottle opener) including mid-sized fridge with small freezer, stovetop, microwave, toaster. Augies for breakfast is good & 1 block away. -Main ***** for shopping/restaurants (Asbury Ave) only 3 blocks away. -price was less than $260 “all in” per night and everywhere else with same amenities was at least $100 more per night. Cons -our unit was not modernized (very old stovetop). We didn't care. No oven. -pretty small unit (we are 2adults 9 yr old)- but doable for 3 days. -Front desk could be a little friendlier upon arrival, but it’s all good. Lots of hours are put in there.
