I was a little nervous to stay here after recent reviews, I'm not sure if I was lucky with the room I got or if others look for more to complain about...but I could fault it. I have previously stayed at the Avanti Hotel but recent reviews there put me off staying. Yes the rooms are dated, most of these motel type hotels are, but the room was spotless which to me is the most important thing. We had taken some wipes to clean down surfaces etc just to be cautious but every wipe came up clean, top marks! Everything in the room worked as expected, fridge was good as was the microwave. Excellent location, we didn't use the pool but it looked good. Only slight issue was the Hurricane, the fire alarm went off twice as a false alarm...but these things happen. & there was some water leakage into the room from the door, which by our last day had caused a not very pleasant smell. But I'm not blaming the hotel for this & I assume they would have had a way to resolve this had we been staying longer & mentioned it! Our room was in block 3000, top floor facing the pool, no issues with noise - I doubt any room facing the pool would have an issue. Good view from the top floor too over to Volcano Bay. Happy to recommend the hotel for couples, families etc. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again for a future Orlando holiday!

Very good budget hotel in the lake Buena vista area. Room with 2 doubles beds, very comfy mattress and huge TV. Mini fridge and microwave also available very handy for drinks and snacks. Room was very clean and housekeeping came every day to make up the beds,clean and change towels. If you prefer a quieter rooms ask for one facing the parking lot and building 3 or 4. Shop,bar and breakfast buffet on site. This was my second stay here and I would return again.

Much better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.

Great hotel, convenient location in walking distance to some airport car rentals. Very clean with style decor. Big flat screen in the room, all dove washing liquids (shampoo, body wash, conditioner, body lotion). Variety of food for free breakfast. Gas station just next to hotel, which makes it convenient to refuel your rental car before returning

I highly recommend Rosenn Inn Pointe Orlando. It is located in the downtown of Orlando. The hotel is surrounded with many restaurants.They alsip have 24 hrs. dine in restaurant inside the hotel lobby plus if you have the passion in singing there you go they have karaoke. It's really fun. The hotel is big with 3 swimming pools. It is very well maintained. We truly e joyef our stay here from December 28-31 2022. We can't wait to go back and book again here.The best experience!

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that aren’t accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they weren’t available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, don’t stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they were…sold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and there’s a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? We just returned from our trip and LOVED THE CONTEMPORARY! We have been to both DisneyLand (Grand Californian and Paradise Pier) and DisneyWorld (Caribbean Beach and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness) before, and this is now my new favorite. I read some other reviews discussing that the theming was not as strong here, but I honestly think it's perfect. I think everyone has ”a hotel” that is theirs for one reason or another, and this one is just ours. The room is incredibly clean, simple, and for that it allows us to RELAX during our breaks. We go early and stay late, so we always take breaks in the afternoon. And our room was just wonderful to come back to each day. It is easy to get to and from the parks, I LOVE the built in closets because it allows us to fully unpack and stow our suitcases, the bathroom is huge and very comfortable for a family, and most importantly the beds are COMFORTABLE! I am picky due to my neck and slept really well here. My kids thought it was great because there are about 300 plugs to use for electronic charging. We ate at Steakhouse 71 and really enjoyed it. We did eat at a few other monorail hotels to experience them, but I think the Contemporary is just our kind of place and will book more reservations within our own hotel next time. I will absolutely come back not only because of the proximity to MK and the convenience of the monorail, but because the hotel itself was perfection. Our room was clean every day when we came back, the kids enjoyed having all their stuffed animals arranged in a fun manner, and I truly appreciate that the theming was modern and clean so I could mentally relax during our breaks. If you want heavier theming, there are great options on the monorail, but if you- like me- need a little mental break in the middle of the day then I highly recommend the Contemporary. It is clean, nicely sized, comfortable, and most importantly: total access winner for MK, which is where we spent most of our evenings. The staff at the Sheraton really astounded me in that I was made to feel so at home while here for training. I was one of the lucky ones who found themselves shacked up at the Sheraton during Hurricane Ian. A few stand outs I want to point out: Latifa who always comes up to us for breakfast pours us coffee and juice with an incredibly warm demeanor, she is the server anyone in the restaurant/hospitality industry should strive to be. Carolina and Ana were also servers I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with and they’ve made my meal experiences here so delightful. There is also Helen the Bartender who has such a subtle charisma she’s been able to entice a few of us to spend time at her bar either for meals or a good drink. Finally I’d like to mention Melanie who was at the desk counter when I checked in, she was so willing to work with me to make sure I got checked in early, every time I’ve asked for help or access to something in regards to the hotel she’s made the extra effort and I can tell. There are so many people here I’ve left out and it’s a shame because everyone here did there part to shelter us the guests during the hurricane. I will be forever grateful that my first hurricane felt little more than a rainy day due to the protection they provided me here. Thank you so much Sheraton!!!!

I spent two nights at the DoubleTree in Downtown Orlando as a result of being mandatorily evacuated due to Hurricane Ian. Most of the other people staying in the hotel were in a similar situation. I felt that the hotel did a good job of dealing with the huge surge of stressed out people. The DoubleTree wasn't our first choice, but when we decided to evacuate to Orlando, many other gulf coast Floridians were making similar choices, and we got turfed to this DoubleTree with a different Hilton property. The location is pretty good. It's close to downtown, close to the Lake Ivanhoe area, and close to I4. There were a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. The parking isn't exactly connected to the hotel, which wouldn't be a problem in non-hurricane situations. There was no valet when we arrived. There were staff available to help with bags, etc., although the person was helping the car in front of me, so I unloaded everything myself (which was fine). My parents were able to check in early for both rooms, and from what I observed in the lobby, they had enough staff that no one was waiting for too long for check in. They were definitely well stocked with bottled water and cookies for everyone checking in. We had two connecting rooms so that my parents could help with the kids and we could pool resources. The rooms have refrigerators which are pretty spacious. The rooms were a bit dated, but the beds were reasonably comfortable (although the pillows could have been more supportive), there was a practical set up of seating, and everything looked clean. Because the hotel was booked to full and because the Hurricane was going to go through Orlando as a tropical storm, there was no standard housekeeping available, but you could request new sheets/towels/amenities to be delivered to your room. I spoke with a bartender, and the Hilton had several employees who stayed in the hotel for the duration of the storm warning and storm to make sure that things were running for guests. I very much appreciated that they kept the kitchen (albeit with a very limited menu) and bar (full bar still available) running and that maintenance was available the whole time. While I didn't love the limited menu at the restaurant, at least we had the option of hot food! The hotel is on the same power grid at the local hospital, so we never lost power. The cable flickered a bit once the winds became strong. The window in my parents' room did spring a leak during the storm, but thankfully the amount of water that came in was manageable with a couple towels. The downstairs cafe and lobby became very waterlogged during the storm. But from a safety perspective, we all came through the storm. And when we elected to check out after two nights instead of the three we booked, the hotel graciously didn't charge us for the final night.
