Trip.com said that I had requested room 106 even though I had a bad leg. However, I checked with the hotel and found out that 106 was on the 2nd floor and 1st floor was B. Fortunately, the woman at the front desk changed the room to the 1st floor because it was available, so there was no trouble. Make sure you know the hotel Trip.com is in charge of. The hotel was clean and the staff were kind. I don't have any complaints about that, but I would have liked a more formal room.

Location ********... but I don't recommend that only women go there. It's a bit worrisome because it's opened and closed with a key, not a password or key. But it's not like there was anything particularly dangerous.

I stayed at Hotel Monterey Osaka with my kids and had a great experience. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating, making check-in smooth and assisting with any questions we had.The hotel's location is excellent, close to public transportation, shopping areas, and dining options, making it convenient for families traveling with children. Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Its an eco hotel hence they only for room service every 3 nights however that's fine with us as the room is really clean. Toilet is clean too! We have a twin bed room and I must say the room is really spacious for Japan standard! The location is superb! If you are travelling from kansai airport you can actually take the airport train to the nearest nakai namba station and the hotel is only a few minutes away from it. Hotel is also few mins away from the metro station Namba station and from there you can access to other stations. We travel to shin osaka station to transfer to JR for our tokyo destination. The hotel is near to many shopping streets as well as OIOi and Takashimaya! There is also BIC. There are also many shops selling food and Mcdonald right opposite the hotel. The hotel also provides free rice bowl per pax during dinner time. They have free coffee and tea too. There is netflix app (log in with your own acc) and free YouTube! Not to mention, there is a multi plug charger in the room for charging up your electronic devices! Oh the breakfast spread is good too! Remember to try the beef curry and freshly fried tempura! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here at Hiyori Hotel! I will definitely recommend my friends!

The hotel has great amenities. It is near Namba shopping malls, Lawson is just next door with Chateraise and Tully’s coffee. There is free Starbucks drinks within the hotel for hotel guests. There is a variety of drinks, free, available as well. The hotel is said to be near Namba station, but I personally thought it was 5 minutes away, but no, it’s about 15 mins walk, as Namba station is huge with many lines. Other than this, the hotel is great. It’s small, but Japan’s hotels are all small. I love the bathroom, clean bathtub and good space for showers and baths.

The emplacement is really nice, as it’s walking distance to Shinsekai. I didn’t relate to some comment saying it’s a bit unsafe, we came home pretty late and still felt quite safe. There is no “human reception” but we had a problem and press the button for help and someone came. The room is really spacious, there is a balcony, the toilet is separate, the only problem was a smell coming from one of the cupboards (like water coming up)
