My Husband and I arrived in this beautiful well looked after Beach hotel. Kristos met us and made us feel very welcome. He explained the hotel and facilities whilst we stood on our balcony over looking the ionion sea , it was early hours in the morning and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. Had breakfast in the Infinity over looking the beach a couple of times, which we booked as part of our Jet2 package . Not for me I'm afraid very limited and my husband thought it was too , the coffee was nice which i always find in hotels the coffee is not to standard, however this was very nice for the rest of the week we decided to skip breakfast and enjoy lunch out and about. We had a coupe of extremely nice lunches here at the Hotel , what made it for us is the hospitality of the waiters and waitresses, food was well presented. NOW THEN ...Sun beds on the beach right opposite of the Hotel !! they actually charge you !! yes charge you , 10 euros a day plus a brolly , So we opted to go to the end of the beach where you get a free bed a towel and waiter service all day .I think Ionion Beach you should look at a system where your hotel clients are not charged so we can eat and drink at the Hotel whilst here. That's the only complaint we have. Our room over looked the sea OMG what a view . I loved the mornings sitting with a coffee looking out, watching the world go by and looking at the yachts coming and going . Its not for the faint hearted its for the fit , if you are happy to walk those high pathways go for it we did.. You can take the water taxi, i thought the drivers were extremely ignorant not friendly , but its the only way to avoid the walk to Parga town . I loved the town lts of tiny streets and 100s of Tavernas, dont follow the crowed do your own thing all the Tavernas are good and lots of choice. Meals are expensive, well everything is . We spent £200 a day, you cant avoid it a meal is between £50 and £75 i suppose you can grab a Giros Pita and walk around with it, Not the same is it. So Greece is not what it used to be I'm afraid , but its all worth it ... Take a trip to Paxo's on the Big boat we did the Big blue one .. absolutely worth every penny , we hired a speed boat and went out and about, that's a great day if you fancy it. I'm not going to recommend Tavernas they are all much of a muchness , people follow like sheep and stand outside for an hour because someone told them this is the best .. Back to the Ionion Beach Hotel this is a must . The rooms are clean, showers tiny and a silly shower curtain which sticks to you Ha ha ha !! in this day and age .. Ionion get the shower curtain out and invest in a screen. Thankyou to Antonis on the reception great guy .

Last year we stayed in the Voltos beach next door to this hotel & would have stayed there again this year but it wasn’t available hence we stayed here in the lonian beach hotel. This hotel must hold the record for the smallest showers in Greece & believe me I’ve holidayed in a good few in lots of different resorts. With the too short shower curtain constantly wrapped round me the task of a shower is to say laborious if I’m being kind. The hotel was obviously built in a hurry as the walls are paper thin & the constant music of that old song “ bedheads against my wall” is constant & usually until the early hours, so sleeping on the sun beds while sunbathing during the day is easy! The hotel is in a good place right on the beach with sun beds etc at 15eu a day (10 eu further down the beach) Breakfast is basic & a keep fit routine cos unless your early for breakfast to claim a seat at the right level as the food your sat on a different level & it’s up & down the steps. Other than that the beds are comfy & your overlooking the bay. The cleaning girls work hard & they keep the rooms spotless.

Overall I would recommend the Ionion Beach Resort. It is in a lovely position right across from the beach almost central in the Valtos beach area and handy for the walk into the old town. We feel it was probably in the best location in Parga. It is around a 10 minute walk via a steep uneven path and several steps up into the old town so I would recommend sensible footwear. Also the lights along the path were not always working so it is quite dark. There is a water taxi available from the beach just a few minutes’ walk away which runs continuously and frequently until 11 pm. There are local walks to the watermill and waterfall up a steep road but shaded here and there by trees. The walk takes around an hour each way and there is a little taverna near the top. The views are spectacular. There a a few small supermarkets nearby, one near the beach and one on a nearby campsite. The Ionion Beach Resort was extremely clean and well-kept with lovely flowers. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Panos in reception was very helpful and pleasant and was there from morning until late in the evening every day. Our room 71 was on the bottom floor next to the reception at the end next to the steps leading down to the restaurant and pool. There is no lift to the 2 floors above so would recommend a room on this level. The room was of a good size, shower room to the left, kitchenette to the right and the rest was the bedroom with balcony overlooking the beach. There was a reasonably sized wardrobe with a three drawer chest of drawers within it and around 10 hangers. There were 2 bedside tables with drawer and ledge at the bottom. There was a dressing table with a drawer and stool underneath and mirror above. There was a unit to store suitcases. The room was very clean and was cleaned to a very good standard every day. Fresh towels and sheets were provided every day. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was air conditioning with remote control and digital wall TV. Patio doors with fly screen onto balcony. Balcony had a table and 2 chairs and a rail with around 8 pegs to hand out a small amount of washing. The view of the bay from the balcony was beautiful. It was nice and quiet at night with no disturbance. The kitchenette had a kettle, coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment, 2 ring hob, stainless steel sink, 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 wine glasses, 2 sets of cutlery, bottle opener, 2 cups, 2 saucers, 2 plates. All very useful. (scissors would be a useful provision) The shower room was tiny and the shower cubicle also. The shower curtain wrapped around you coming out of the shower. We found it really awkward and I would recommend the owners to extend the shower room into the bedroom as there was more than enough space to do that. It would be a massive improvement. On a positive note the water pressure good. Hot water does not come on until after 7 am. Plenty of lighting and good quality curtains. There were around 20 steps down to

Brilliant view, brilliant service, the staff were outstanding. Everything was spotless and cleaned daily. Food was really good with a lovely variety for breakfast. Beer was lovely but €6 a pint, which was the most we paid anywhere. The pool area is lovely with comfortable beds. For some reason guests have to pay €15 for the hotels' beach beds and parasols. They're cheaper along the beach. They should be free in my view or at least discounted. My other criticism is the shower has a curtain. The sink was so close, I banged my head 4 times on it bending for the soap. I couldn't see it through the curtain. It gave my wife a laugh every time though. All in all we are already planning our return next year. We had an outstanding holiday thanks to this hotel.

Just perfect. The room was exceptionally clean, bed linen and towels changed daily. Kettle for the odd cuppa and the breakfasts had everything you could ask for and delicious. Every room had a wonderful sea view. The beds and piullows were very comfortable. Pretros on Reception was extremely helpful. The maid service was quite exceptional as the fridge was pulled out every day and cleaned behind. A truly memorable stay for all the right reasons, and added to that a superb restaurant downstairs with the same magnificent view. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lovely hotel with all rooms facing a lovely sea. Rooms are very small! Restaurant well below average! And most important of all: There is no lift! Over 100 steps to climb from the beach under the 40 or so degrees to your room! A struggle! That is if you happen to have a room at the top floor... even the lower level rooms just deduct 10-15 steps..

Family run and all were super friendly Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from plus fresh coffee Room was adequate, bed comfy and everything was spotless Bathroom small and shower curtain didn’t stop leaks but it was fine Views to die for over lovely valtos …. Pool was very nice but we spent our time on the beach snorkelling and relaxing Lovely walk into Parga (hilly) or get the water taxi We will return ❤️
