## Review of Homestay in Tianjin / 天津民宿评价 I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful homestay in the 杨柳青 area of Tianjin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. As a stressed entrepreneur and doctor traveling from Shanghai, this trip was a much-needed break for me, and the homestay exceeded all my expectations. 我最近有幸住在天津杨柳青地区的一家很棒的民宿，我强烈推荐这里。作为一名从上海来的压力很大的企业家和医生，这次旅行对我来说是一段急需的休息时间，而这家民宿远远超出了我的预期。 The 杨柳青 area is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene environment that is perfect for reflection and deep thinking. If you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke. There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

The butler service at The St. Regis is incredibly thoughtful, a big thank you to Gracie, Cassie, Winnie, and the other butlers. I also want to commend The St. Regis for their food selection, especially for breakfast. I specifically checked if they used pre-made items, as many other five-star hotels often use pre-packaged pastries for breakfast. However, The St. Regis's baozi (steamed buns), bread, and other items are all freshly made by their chefs, and the juices are freshly squeezed. It made me feel very assured about the food. The check-in and check-out times can also be relatively flexible depending on room availability, which is great for a vacation. The pool is 1.5m deep and the temperature is perfect – not too cold – and there's also a smaller pool suitable for children. The location goes without saying; it's right on the Haihe River scenic belt, perfect for sightseeing, strolling, and shopping right outside the door. The only minor point is that the standard rooms might not be considered very large.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. The room was larger than expected, with great natural light, and the cleanliness was impeccable, paying attention to every detail. A special shout-out to the front desk staff (the 'xiaoge/xiaojie' - a polite way to refer to young male/female staff), who were incredibly gentle and patient, and even helped upgrade my room. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted good. All in all, a perfect experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

This is a fantastic hotel! First, let's talk about the positives: the location and transport links are incredibly convenient. It's directly accessible from the Northwest Corner subway station, and right next to two large malls, Shuiyou City and Lujiazui Center. Plus, there's the Northwest Corner morning market just across the street – truly unbeatable! The service was also excellent; the front desk staff were very polite. We had some complicated food items to store and pack, and the staff patiently helped us with everything. The only drawback was the bathroom's bathtub; there was no shower enclosure, so you had to stand in the tub to shower.

The hotel's location is truly unbeatable – right by the Haihe River on Zhangzizhong Road. Within a few minutes' walk, you'll find the Ancient Culture Street and Tianhou Palace. At night, open your window to river views and the lights of the Tianjin Eye. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and getting around. But what really compelled me to write this glowing review was their emergency, all-in-one service. On the day of checkout, my plans unexpectedly changed in the afternoon. By the time I realized, I had less than two hours before I needed to leave. I was already in Hexi doing something, but my luggage was still stored at the hotel. There was no way I could go back to pick it up and still make it to my meeting point on time. In a panic, I called the front desk to explain the situation. Manager Ji and Concierge Alice immediately took charge without hesitation, adding me on WeChat to coordinate. They confirmed the number of bags and made sure my luggage was sent off as soon as my car arrived. My luggage quickly reunited with me, with not a single item missing. From the phone call to getting my bags back, it took a total of 30 minutes. Manager Ji and Xiao Zhang never once said, ”That's not our responsibility.” Instead, it was always, ”Please don't worry.” Honestly, a good location and great facilities are things many hotels can achieve. But this kind of 'going the extra mile' responsibility when a guest is in a bind – that's the real skill. Many thanks to Manager Ji and Xiao Zhang. Next time I'm in Tianjin, I'll definitely stay at Pan Pacific again!

Five-star review! My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin on August 11th with my two children was absolutely perfect. As soon as the car pulled up, the concierge immediately came over to help with our luggage. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and swift, with no long waits. Dinner at the Chinese restaurant was exceptionally brilliant. A special thank you to the staff there; their service was meticulous and thoughtful, with just the right amount of attentiveness, making us feel incredibly welcomed. The sommelier, a charming young man from Tianjin, was elegant and highly knowledgeable about wines. His professional explanations and recommendations truly enhanced our wonderful meal. The king-size bed in the room was spacious and incredibly comfortable; it easily accommodated two children with plenty of room. The hotel noticed the children in our party and thoughtfully prepared adorable kids' amenities, a detail that was truly heartwarming. From the front desk and concierge to the dining service and room setup, the service quality across all departments was consistently excellent, and every staff member demonstrated high professionalism. It's clear that the hotel boasts mature and comprehensive management, as well as outstanding management capabilities. This was a thoroughly pleasant stay, my top choice when visiting Tianjin. I look forward to returning!

This was my second stay here. I chose The Tangla Hotel again because the rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms, making for a very comfortable stay. There's a desk for working and a sofa with a coffee table perfect for eating or just lounging. The walk-in closet also offers ample storage. It would be even better if the glass partitions were opaque, allowing a family to use different areas simultaneously. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, a rare find in other hotels, and of very high quality. Plus, the location is great; Five Great Avenues and Jiangbin Road are all within walking or cycling distance, making dining and shopping very convenient. The only downside is that some of the facilities are a bit old, with minor issues here and there, like a leaky showerhead, a bathroom door that's hard to push open, and unclear light indicators. These are areas the hotel could definitely address. Overall, I think it offers great value for money. I recommend staying here.
