Not a 24-hour front desk, more than 6:00 in the evening, it is closed, there is a self-service machine at the door, but entering your own booking information does not work, you must call the phone posted on their wall (English), report your name , generally the name, not the last name. After they check the order, they will instruct you to enter a string of 6 digits on the kiosk to get your door card and elevator access card from the kiosk. Then, brush the elevator access card into the building door, enter the elevator, find Just brush your own room and get in. Let me talk about his house type. I have an apartment style, a bedroom, it should not be a 1.8 bed. Our 2 adults brought a 12-year-old child to sleep on the bed, their feet are outside the bed, and the living room is two. People sofa, because the reservation said that no extra bed, so it is so okay. The room facilities are very old, the shower door on the bathtub has been replaced, only one frame is left, there is no shower curtain, the nozzle is sprayed in a mist, the basic washing is not so happy, it will splash around, and the bath is basically the bathroom. wet. The capsule coffee machine in the room was bad, could not make coffee, and did not clean every day until the day of departure. If it is not because I booked a day trip to the Kuranda Rainforest, I will take a sightseeing train back when I return. This hotel is opposite the train station. I can go upstairs from the train station to the large parking lot, from the commercial building of Coles Supermarket. It’s really tight, but in addition, it’s definitely not chosen because the accommodation is too poor and there is no service at all. The front desk service is Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00 and weekend is 10: 00-15:00. Dear friends, if you can move, it is recommended to choose other hotels. According to my observation, Cairns has very few taxis. It seems that it is impossible to make a reservation, and the bus is not convenient. Basically, it depends on the legs. Breakfast was not eaten at the hotel, it is estimated that it is not awkward, the hotel itself has a parking lot, the visual inspection is quite big, because there is no self-driving in Cairns, so I don't know how to charge, but it should be charged.

The Positives: The top-level apartment was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, plenty of light and fresh air (since the windows can be opened (there is also a balcony), and a good price for the amount of space. The washer and dryer worked well. Also, it took only about 25 minutes to walk to the center of Cairns downtown. BONUS: we could see the Kuranda Scenic Railway train go by from our kitchen window. If you have kids that love trains, check the schedule so you can watch it go by. The Negatives: The insects. Nothing scary such as large spiders or centipedes, but there were tiny ants on the bathroom counter, spider mites on the living room coffee table and dining table (but these only appeared when we had any food), and a couple of cockroaches, all of which we evicted quickly. If insects don't bother you, then you will probably enjoy your stay here. The main sofa was quite worn and the sofa cushion was cracked along the edges. Since that was the main seating area, that was kind of a bummer. Lastly, we had trouble with the security gate. We were not given ANY instructions on how to get out or in via the gate and there was no way to walk around the gate, which is ostensibly for cars, not people. We were at the point of climbing over the gate when a resident appeared and waved the plastic card attached to the room key at one of the posts. How difficult would it be to write the instructions on the plastic card? Especially since such pertinent information was not divulged by the reception clerk. Still, if it weren't for the three issues above, we would have rated this place four stars. We felt like we were in an actual apartment, rather than a hotel, which was nice for a change.

Travellers Paradise

We were a family with kids 3 and 7. We booked a triple room but got given a quad which was nice. It was a heat wave, but the aircon was super cold. The room and common areas were clean and inviting. The pool was a great escape from the heat. It was easy to walk into town and the Cairns Central Mall was across the road. I need to come again by myself and will be booking here again.
