The shower could NOT GET WARM. Discovered the faucet had been put on incorrectly - arrow pointing to warm was cold water, etc. - but the hot water was still VERY cool and came out at diminished stream - a medium trickle. I ended up just washing my hair, bent over so it wouldn't freeze my body. I had a business meeting an hour later. Checking out, I was not offered any reduction in price, or even a free breakfast. IT WAS A HORRIBLE SITUATION!!! (Room was nice though, and very clean.)

I booked this Inn for a last minute trip. It was lovely, peaceful, immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful; there are complimentary hot beverages in the lobby; there are also delicious cookies, fruits, and newspapers . When I got to my room, I found more treats, chocolates! It had been a hard day, so I was especially grateful for the warm ambience. The room that I had was spacious, elegant, very traditional, with a super comfortable bed and a fine sofa. The temperature controls worked perfectly. Some pros and cons Spacious Room (stayed in a double queen suite with pull out couch). Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Overall, facility and room was very clean. Good value for the cost. The facility felt safe. Security went through the parking lot slowly down each row at night (twice that I saw.) However, the pool was disgusting. The water was foggy to the point you couldn't see the bottom step. There were several chunks of hair floating in the pool and a straw. (Big bummer since we traveled with kids to a place specifically with a pool.) The room itself was big but had a stuffy, mildew smell. Since none of the windows open there was no way to air it out. The odor was strong enough to wake me up a few times in the middle of the night. The view of the parking lot and dumpster leave something to be desired but it your just looking for a place to rest, no biggie. The rooms with odd numbers have a view of a pretty building.
