"Travelled with Family Stayed there the deluxe twin during Xmas for three nights. Staff are extremely helpful!👍👍👍 The roof top is tiny but the scene is awesome! Must visit with your camera. The room and everywhere is very clean! Can't find any dust! The first night was too hot, as the room was 29°C and the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted. Everyone was sweaty and couldn't sleep. We informed the front desk the next morning. They explained the air con is centralized but offered a mini ventilation fan. When we returned at night, a fan was provided, and they fixed the air con, reducing it to 24°C for the rest of our stay. We already booked our next stay with Kanzashi in coming February and look forward to staying there again."

"This hotel was great for me! The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the station. It's super convenient to Ueno, only one stop away. There's a 7-Eleven and Lawson right downstairs. Having my own private room was fantastic, and it was so handy having a hanger, fridge, and sink right there. The toilet and shower rooms were spotless. The staff were really friendly and happy to help with any questions. Check-out was super easy. Oh, and the electronic lock on the door was also incredibly convenient! 😆"

"The hotel's location is fantastic. It's right across from Ikebukuro East Exit 40, next to Seibu Department Store, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. Don Quijote is also nearby; everything you could need is here. The bathroom is a bit larger than in other hotels and has no steps, which is great. The staff are incredibly polite, always greeting you when you come and go – true Japanese hospitality. The only downside is Ikebukuro itself; it's a bit more chaotic and run-down compared to Shinjuku."

"The hotel location is excellent, near Kyoto Hall, with many restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. The environment is comfortable, and facilities are comprehensive. I arrived around 8 PM that night and spent a while looking for the front desk, only to find it on the third floor. They offer both assisted and self-service check-in. The self-service machine has a Chinese option and requires a card payment for tax, then it automatically dispenses the room key card, which is very convenient. Check-out is at 11 AM; you just drop the key card into a large box in the morning. The hotel lobby provides complimentary items like face masks, cosmetics, and toothbrushes for guests. They also offer services such as a microwave, laundry room, and luggage storage. There's an airport shuttle bus downstairs, but you need to buy tickets in advance. WeChat Pay and Alipay are not supported; only cash or credit/debit cards are accepted. The hotel's downsides are that the room is too small, making it a bit inconvenient to fully open a large suitcase. It can also get quite lively with many guests. It's not particularly close to the subway, and a bit of a distance from Shinjuku Station."

"The capsule was good at a reasonable price. The most important thing is location, very close to Shin Okubo Station. "Overall I did enjoy my stay here. I think the hotel feels quite modern and has some amenities that make it quite appealing to travelers who may be on a budget. I'll start off with the Pros: 1. Location is pretty good - its close to the skytree and public transportation is easily accessible via that station. Depends on what you're looking to do but most places aren't that far to get to. Plus I like having a location that isn't too loud either which this spot does a good job at. Some konbini, super market, and food options around as well. 2. The lobby area is quite nice. You get free refreshments, bread, games, books, and a very nice area to sit in. If you just need to have a small breakfast or do some work or just chill with your friends with some games or even solo - it is a very nice area. 3. The hotel feels quite modern with it's design. 4. Lighting can be adjusted: I deeply appreciate rooms that allow you to adjust the lighting since certain rooms can be too bright at night or too bright when I have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night - here it's adjustable. 5. Some other things include that I thought the AC had good control, things were relatively clean. Of course the room is a bit small but it doesn't really bother me since I expect it and I'm just using the room to sleep basically. 6. Friendly staff 7. Windows can be opened - for some fresh air 8. Bed is long enough (I need a bed to be at least 1.95m) However, if you are sleeping with someone in the double bed, I would say its a bit too small for that. Width I didn't mesaure but standard double bed probably Cons: 1. No blackout shades is the biggest one. If you are sensitive to light in the morning and don't wanna wake up too early, you'll probably need an eye mask. I prefer not sleeping with an eyemask if possible but there's no blackout shades 2. I thought the bed was just ok, but I didn't particularly enjoy the pillows. Think they have a weird texture on the inside of it. Not terrible, but I would switch if possible. Overall I enjoyed it especially since this was one of the more affordable ones for my budget and I do recommend it!"
