Seven Hills Camping Village

Fantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!

We stayed here for 7nts, having stayed in the centre of Rome a few years ago, we wanted somewhere with a pool close to the city. Whilst we don’t usually stay at campsites, we had a great time. The restaurant was a good surprise as the food was great, lovely staff, very helpful, chatty, and attentive. The pool was big and pretty clean to say it’s a campsite pool, no problems there. We stayed in a bungalow with air con, and you do get what you pay for in all respects, this needs to be considered before you book, it’s not a 5* experience, as you aren’t paying for that (some of the reviews are pretty harsh in relation to the price you are paying). The shuttle service was great provided by the hotel, and train very easy and regular, taxis are difficult to confirm from our experience as it’s remote, and so do be prepared to use the shuttle if you intend to travel in and out the centre, last shuttle is 9pm. Do also take your own towels and a swim hat as this is mandatory in Italian Lido’s (never been to any other country that enforces this rule in such a way, apart from areas in Asia, but important to respect the local culture in any case). An enjoyable week away, thank you all! Tanya and Lisa

Very friendly reception. All worked out fine and according to expectations. I didn't use the facilities, hence my 3 average score.

As a diamond customer of Ctrip, I was cheated by Ctrip to rent a car in Rome! Although many people have been misused, Ctrip will continue to bring customers to them! There was no inspection process for picking up the car from this car dealer, and 1481 Euros were inexplicably detained after returning the car! ! ! I hope that all those who have been scammed by Ctrip will unite and speak up. In addition to defending their rights, more people should be prevented from being scammed by Ctrip!

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel for my degree, what to say? Very nice and suggestive, a spouse re-adapted with all the comfort pet travelers. Very nice staff, a little less the owner! Very clean and ordered! We have stayed in a mini apartment of 2 rooms and a bathroom and we are comfortable! Little defect are bathrooms, every shower a lake, as there are tenders! Good breakfast both salad and sweet and good prices, the stay fee is waste in all hotels! I would be happy to return ....

This hotel was booked by the tour company and we were here two nights at the end of our tour. This is not a four star hotel by any standard, unless you are only factoring in the fact that the room is large and that there was A/C in the room. An older hotel, although from the onset you wouldn’t think so. The front lobby is not necessarily accessible, as you have to climb a large flight of stone steps to get through the front door, once inside the front entrance there is a small ramp beside the stairs to pull your luggage up. The reception in the morning are friendly enough, but don’t bother trying to get any assistance from the evening desk attendant, she was rather rude and was not interested in helping at all - we had an issue with an Uber Eats order (we asked to meet them outside and they never arrived after 40 minutes of waiting so we decided to go back to the room and try calling the restaurant and we just said to the front desk that we had an Uber order that may be delivered in case they showed up and she just shook her head covered her ears with her hands and said “no no not her problem that she does nothing with it”) I wasn’t asking her to do anything with the order just that it might be delivered. But anyways, back to the rooms, it’s not your typical room size it is larger then what you would expect from a hotel in Europe. Relatively clean, fixtures in the bathroom were old, the stand up shower stall was tiny and the doors were broken. The shower head was loose and came off when I turned it on, spraying the entire bathroom with water. The double bed was really two twins pushed together. Location is horrible, it’s far from transit and you can’t access the main parts of Rome easily. It’s down a lane way and difficult to find and the street itself is narrow and dark. There is a restaurant downstairs, but the food was horrible and took forever. The breakfast was your typical breads, cheese and cold cuts. And again, even the staff in the restaurant were rude and weren’t keen on providing service. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, even if you’re on a budget.
