Recommended, cost-effective. Clean and quiet, breakfast is not bad. In addition to the place is not in the city center, but the bus stop is across the road. The restaurant in the brewery/beer museum not far away is superb, the fried pork chops are delicious, and the fresh beer is super delicious. The environment is clean and spacious. The hotel also gave a free beer ticket. We ate for two days because it was really delicious 😋

Hotel was a short walk away from the main city sites (Mirabell Platz and the Old Town). The room was really clean with complimentary bottled water provided. The lack of an express checkout, however, did take up some time.

Hotel Sacher is famous in Austria. When I was doing guides before, I saw more of Sacher in Vienna. Less about Salzburg. I really wanted to experience this hotel during this trip, and considering the cost (Salzburg is cheaper), I booked Sacher in Salzburg. The front desk of the hotel was very friendly. In the morning, I felt that the single buffet was a bit expensive, so I chose room service for more than half the price, and the result was amazing. The coffee comes directly from the pot, and the brewed taste is really strong. Not to mention the yogurt jam, it is my favorite every time I go to Europe. It is really good to have breakfast facing the window, and it does not affect my mood on rainy days. The hotel's corridors and room layout are very unique, and each room is different. All in all, this sacher is really good if Salzburg occasionally gets corrupted.

The hotel has been opened not long ago with 115 rooms that you can choose from. The building itself carries a long history of Salzburg and its right opposite the Salzburg Congress building where there are many tourist attractions within walking distances. Hotel staffs are very friendly and speak excellent English since I am not a local speaker that make me feel at home. The breakfast is something you do not want to miss.

The hotel is in a quiet location, a short 10 to 15min walk to the main attractions. We got a room upgrade and the bathroom is big, room is clean and comfortable.
