"The hotel should be newly installed but the room has no smell. The room looks clean and tidy. It has its own parking lot. It does not touch the Chinese people. There are many Americans living in the hotel. The hotel is safe. The subway station is also close. Walk to Union Square for about 1.5km. , location can be. No early, there is Chinese food downstairs, there is a match on the opposite side, the attitude at the front desk is acceptable. Homeless outside the hotel is a little scary, try to travel as little as possible at night, it is quite difficult to avoid it completely at SanFrancisco, and there seems to be less near the Fisherman's Wharf. . . There seems to be three taxes in this hotel. . ."
"This is a place I want to come back to again.
But it's better to think about the time before you go.
Since it's a 100-year-old hotel, you can see a lot of really old things.
There's no problem using the hotel.
However, there's no coffee pot or kettle in the hotel room.
So, there's a coffee pot in the lobby, so tell them when you check in so they can drink it whenever they want.
A wonderful place with a Rococo atmosphere where you can feel the time all over your body.
My sister and I came here and there was nothing inconvenient.
Breakfast was bread, cereal, two kinds of fruit, yogurt, and scrambled eggs.
It wasn't anything special, but it was delicious because I had breakfast.
I'm looking for Korean food, but this was also delicious.
Above all, it's near Japantown, so it's a relatively safe area, so don't worry, and don't go out at night..
Two women... It's really scary when it starts to get dark at 7pm.
Japantown is safe, so I'm relieved, but I was still scared..ㅠ"
"There is a parking lot, but the surrounding environment is very general. The city of San Francisco is very general. Actually, I think it may be with an old name. There are a lot of tramps nearby. For safety reasons, it is recommended to go to la. Living better, playing is also, San Francisco Chinatown is very messy"

"Here’s a refined version of your review:
“The hotel is located in a great area. The staff were helpful and hospitable. However, the hotel is older than expected based on the website photos.”
This version ensures clarity and a natural tone. Let me know if you’d like any further adjustments!"
"Conveniently located next to the BART station, so very easy to take public transportation to and from the airport.
There is a public parking very close that costs 37USD for 24 hours during the weekend.
There is no drinking water provided in the rooms, so think of buying some bottled water beforehand.
There is a Starbucks located just across the street which is closed on Sundays."
"From Roosevelt to Biden now, they all stayed at this hotel when they came to San Francisco. The hotel is very old and very large. The Christmas decorations on the first floor attract visitors.
The service in the hotel is very good and professional, and sometimes the Chinese language is also spoken. It is worthy of having served the president. However, the hotel facilities are average. Even a suite with an area of over 100 square meters cannot escape the small bathroom of a few square meters. You need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The sink is very small. If you are not careful, your toothbrush and toothpaste will fall into the toilet.
The network is very good, that's okay.
Located at the highest point in San Francisco, the view is great, and the room looks directly at ** Island. Walking down the hillside, you will find Chinatown and Union Square 2 blocks away. You need to climb back up, which is a bit hard."
"The location is very good, the service is nice, and the staff is very polite. The breakfast is quite rich in the United States, with meat, milk, eggs, bread, fruits, and a wide variety of drinks. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the poor sound insulation. I can hear the sound of the door opening next door clearly."
"This is a boutique old style hotel. It is well maintained and is in an excellent location. However be aware, as there is no air conditioning, bathroom exhaust fan, fridge or kettle and the rooms are very cramped. The windows do not have protective screens. For the price I booked this was reasonable. There are free snacks for breakfast in the lobby for all."
"Since San Francisco is known as one of the most expensive city in USA, I didn't expect that much with The Barnes. Though, staffs were really friendly and the room was kinda big but the bathroom was small.
I spent four nights with The Barnes, I don't like from this place is water pressure is so low. It was hard for me to take a shower."

GGuest UserThe room is compact but perfect as it has everything that you need. It’s cozy and extremely comfortable. The common areas are clean and well maintained and the entire vibes of the place is just great.

FFrench DudeI recently stayed at the Galleria Park Hotel during my business trip to San Francisco and here are my thoughts:
Location:
The location of the hotel is quite good. Although the area is quiet at night, there are many places to visit during the day. The neighborhood is very central, not far from Chinatown, just a 15-minute walk away.
Security:
The security at the hotel is excellent. It is very secure and they do not let just anyone enter.
Credit Card Policy:
A major downside, not directly related to the hotel itself, is the strict credit card policy. Even though I paid everything online, presenting a credit card at check-in is mandatory. Without it, you might end up sleeping outside. Additionally, at check-out, there's an unexpected mandatory state tax charged to your card, which you are not informed about beforehand. This is a compulsory tax for the state of California.
Room:
The room was decent. It had a small fridge, but nothing for brushing your teeth. I don’t know if it’s typical of American hotels, but I find showers without hand showers inconvenient. The bed was comfortable. I have some doubts about the cleanliness of the thick carpet, though it seemed clean. Instead of curtains, there are blinds on the windows, which I found disappointing.
Breakfast:
I was disappointed that there was no breakfast provided. Only coffee is offered in the morning and wine in the afternoon, but honestly, I don't care for the wine. We need food. I had to walk 15 minutes to a Seven Eleven to get something to eat and drink.
Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi was quite good and worked very well.
Overall, the Galleria Park Hotel has some good points, but there are several areas where it could improve.

GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy their wine & cheese. Contact them on WhatsApp +1 (415) 297-6891 to discuss rooms available.
FFrederickyeoI like the hotel.
Located at a wonderful location just right across the cable car stop. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bed was nice and comfy. There are safe, ice bucket and coffee machine. And the bathroom was spacious.
I will very much recommend this hotel.

AAnonymous UserHotel Spero offers a charming boutique stay in San Francisco with stylish decor, friendly staff, and eco-friendly touches. Rooms are cozy, and the location is convenient but can be busy. At Jasper, the hotel’s restaurant, the yogurt parfait is a fresh and light breakfast option with creamy yogurt, berries, and granola. A great choice for comfort and character.

Ccarrie2000This hotel feels very good, the layout and facilities of the hotel are very atmospheric, the service attitude is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation are very convenient.
Ssung941Amazing location - Walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf and Lombard Street. Bus stops just steps away, can navigate the city easily.
Hotel - lovely decorated, with free coffee, tea and water offered to guests during designated hours. Lobby is full of amenities designed for kids and families, a lot of guests tend to hang around the communal areas during our stay.
Staff - very helpful. And they send SMS to guests to check in with them and share information about hotel events.

GGuest UserAll of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception.
The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels
The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities.
And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour.
But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use.
And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom.
Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym.
Yes that's right, in the actual gym.
Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location.
Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm.
The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then.
It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day.
On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip.
We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early.
We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill.
We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling.
And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short?
Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short??
A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.

SSHUMEIHotel location is very good, in Union Square, walking to the Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, but the city of San Francisco is a lot of tramps, marijuana taste is really disgusting. Hotel health is OK, although the price is not low but can not be measured by domestic price standards, the old elevator is also a bit special.
