Best location! The food was so good and varied, we went out and ate pizza twice but would have just as easily been able to eat at the hotel. No difference in taste experience at all. The room and balcony are a good size, the cleaning is very good. Fresh and nice! Thank you Adilsa Santos for making our 3 weeks so wonderful. The hotel is great! Modern, clean and stylish. The location is perfect - right on the amazing beach and a short walk to the center of Santa Maria. Plenty of sunbeds, even if some elves set the clock as usual, accessibility was good. Some complain about hard beds but we slept as good as any, nothing wrong with the beds at all, and some complain about the food but the fact is take these complaints with a pinch of salt because most come from families with children and have never understood their need to complain? All the staff were as pleasant as possible, always, thank you Sara Lopez who worked the whole New Year's weekend for us and others. Get in touch if you know a place to buy nearby. Thanks for the varied food, every day new tastes (if the families with children ate the food instead of leaving everything on the floor, you would have known about the same). We don't think the Oasis is an overrated hotel, they deserve five stars. VING delivers as usual. Food and drink and all inclusive among the best and most varied we have eaten. Thank you very much for making our first stay in Cape Verde a great one, next time we will definitely come back to Oasis!

My recent stay at Seaside Oasis Hotel was a delightful experience. Situated right on the waterfront, the hotel offers stunning views of the ocean from every room. The accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every need was met promptly. The highlight of my stay was the hotel's private beach access, where I spent hours basking in the sun and listening to the soothing sound of the waves. While there were a few minor issues with noise from neighboring rooms, overall, Seaside Oasis Hotel provided the perfect retreat for a relaxing seaside getaway.

The room was basic clean and quiet. The surfaces need painting and a little renovation. More like a 3* hotel. The food at the buffet was tasteless, but the food at the separately reserved ala carte restaurants was surprisingly good (when there were no expectations)! Be prepared that the opening hours of the pool bar/pizza restaurant are not correct! The pool area and beach were great!

Have been coming to Cape Verde for many years, usually staying at a Rui chain, thought would have a change, wish we hadn’t!! This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Positives: Its a lovely location and the beach is amazing. Negatives: On arrival, no welcome drink Room nothing special, very basic bathroom, hand held shower or it floods the bathroom. No toiltries only shower gel No robes, slippers Towels thin and small. First night unable to sleep due to mattress, all springs coming through. Straight to reception in the morning to ask for mattress to be changed, no apology just I will get it changed. While we were there, mentioned about being all inclusive and having to buy soft drinks package or drinks package, makes no sense, receptionist just shrugged her shoulders!!! Majority of staff are not friendly or polite, there is no real leadership or management, no checking in for any meals only if you have been given vouchers in which you have to book the date at a separate desk. The food is ok but nothing special, the cocktails are a joke. When walking through the hotel there is no atmosphere, the place has no soul, no pictures on walls in corridors etc. Definitely not worth the extra money we paid to stay here, compared to Rui which is a 5 star hotel accross the board. At most a 3, will definitely not return or recommend.

I have traveled to over 50 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, some of them very modest and humble, but I have to say this one was one of the worst experiences ever. If not the worst. Where do I even begin.. We were a group of 7 people with kids and had requested well beforehand that our rooms would be as close to each other as possible. Upon check in we learned that our rooms were on the opposite sides of the big hotel. They told us there was nothing they could do that day but told us to ask again the next day. Trying to unpack as little as possible we waited and asked again the next day - nothing they can do, but will contact us if things change. We never heard from the matter again. I get that requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability but it's hard to imagine that all the other guests had asked for specific rooms months in advance. Well, the rooms then. Ours had an extrabed which was absolutely horrible, not to mention the blob resembling a pillow. We had to tuck stuff under the mattress on the side keeping a person from rolling over to the floor. The showerhead was impossible to put to the holder and free your hands, because the water always turned facing the opening to the bathroom so the whole floor flooded. Our both rooms had this same problem. We stayed in a garden view room, which had a patio/balcony with no privacy whatsover. People walking past the room literally centimeters away. If I knew this beforehand I would have chosen the cheaper basic room with an ordinary balcony. The first 4 days after the cleaning we had to ask for right amount of towels. We were 3 people and sometimes only got 1 fresh towel even though the old ones were taken away. One day we called the reception asking for the 2 missing towels and they replied with "we'll send someone over right away." Knowing how things (don't) work over there I even repeated the request to a cleaning lady I saw going by. After three hours(!) no towels and we had to call the reception again. Then it only took 20 mins to arrive. These are all minor issues though compared to the attitude and service of the staff. Never have I ever encountered such rude, unpolite, unfriendly staff members anywhere in the world than those who work in this hotel (a couple of receptionist and our cleaning lady were the only exceptions). The breakfast was a disaster. Every morning, no matter what time you went, either spoons, cups, glasses, plates or all of these were out. When people tried to ask a staff member for them they just gave an icy glance and walked away. There might of course be a language barrior, but a smile and at least trying to hear the customer out would go a long way! And the changing of the pool towels then; there are time slots when the towel exchange is open and the other slot is supposed to open at 16.30. First time I went to return the towels there were people standing in line (as there were every day) and the guy in charge of the task was standing t

Just returned from a one week stay all inclusive. Sorry to say we were disappointed. Not upto its price and so called 5 star rating. 3+ star to 4 star max. Nothing major just lots of little disappointments. All a bit average. For example and not a total list .... The wine served as all inclusive was rubbish. As we're other cheap drinks in horrible thick plastic glasses. Cooked food at buffet not hot. No A la carte. Just special night set menus. The so called a la carye restaurant was not while we were there. No sign of senior managers or senior chess paying attention and interacting with guests daily. Or ever. Lots of young inexperienced staff trying very hard . Animation team: excellent. Asian night food : excellent. Room good. Apart from four reports to repair aircon. Apart from pool bar tables, no where else to sit out after meals other than sun loungers. Spa disappointed. Just two massage beds. Had good massages but its only an outdoor tent run by external staff not part of hotel as I was told by reception. Just one towel allowed for pool. Not big enough for sun beds. All to limited. The so called special menu night at the beach bar was disappointing. No choices. A set menu off barbecue. Food was OK. But served at gallop by staff too rushed to be enjoyable. It was quite funny to witness the pace. Obviously been told to get it served and get it cleared. Staff trying really hard just poor management . Could have been a nice night. Again sure wasn't a la carte. The main buffet was too crowded for breakfast lunch and dinner. From the 6.30 crush to get in. And on and on..... enough I think. Hope youve got the idea. No feedback facility. The appropriate staff weren't about. So being honest didn't bother.!. Will he back to the resort but not to Oasis.

We had very pleasent stay. Hotel is located just beside beach and city. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was ok. We had a suite with seaview and it was great. Althought clean and tidy hotel. Plenty of sunbeds both at the pool and ocean side.

The hotel has a very good location, nice pool-area and a good variety of activities. The food is overall good and very nice with grilled food every day. Unfortunately the beds are not comfortable at all, the mattress is very hard and every morning I woke up with pain in my back, this has to be fixed. We asked for an extra mattress in the reception, it never showed up. Some of the staff are nice (especially at the beach bar and the cleaningladies) but unfortunately majority of the staff is not polite, especially in the lobby bar. We felt unwelcome when we came to order something, and we are not the guests how are noisy and runs to the bar all the time. Sometimes they didn’t even say a word to us, which lead to that we didn’t want to go to the bar and we avoided to order things sometimes, especially when some of the staff that was extra impolite worked). This was a big minus and something that is so important and if this continues we will never stay at this hotel again (we’ve been at Sal for 4 times).

We stayed at this hotel same period 2022 and was very satisfied with both the served food and all of the facilities of the hotel. This was the reason for choosing the same hotel again december 2023. This year, the food was considerably lower in quality and taste. I also suffered 2 days of ”vacation stomach” due to something I ate at the hotel. I did not eat anything outside the hotel, that’s why I blame their food for this. The hotel was also invaded by very loud italians that felt that they owned the hotel due to their bad behaviour. This hotel is from now on not selected by us anymore.
