Terra Nera Suites

A beautiful place to stay in Santorini. Suites are perfect, spacious and everything you need. Decorated very tastefully and kept spotlessly clean. Quiet pool and our suite had a cool jacuzzi that was lovely at the end of a hot day. Lovely food and beach with reserved sun beds for hotel guests. The wonderful hardworking family and staff could not be kinder or more helpful. They really made our stay special.

We loved staying at this property. When you stay here the owners make you feel as though you are family. Rooms are clean and spacious. Great place for family. Food was excellent, pool is great, perfect location on the beach with private area, great spot to walk up and down the beach, food and service are #1. Great property to relax, enjoy, be comfortable, and feel at home.

I can’t begin to express what an amazing place this is. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back! It offers such a different experience than anyplace else, as you are treated with such kindness and helpfulness. Better hospitality couldn’t be found anywhere you may travel to. The suites are beautiful, staff unbelievably friendly, and the food is amazing. The pool is steps from your room and the beach is right outside the restaurant with reserved sun beds just for hotel guests. You will feel spoiled! I can’t thank Yorgos, his kind sister, amazing daughter and beautiful wife enough for this once in a lifetime experience.

An excellent luxury place for family or couple vacation! Perfect accomodation, service cleaning, tasty food in their restaurant by the sea and beautiful and relax umbrellas in the beach. Dear Marianna and George owners of the suites have great hospitality and they are very kind. They keep their place clean and really doing their best to keep their clients happy. Lots of extra Terra nera suites is a place also friendly for kids. The employee are always with a smile on their face taking care of us with great hospitality ❤️

We have stayed in many different locations in Santorini over the years and first saw the suites at Terra Nera after they opened. However this was our first opportunity to actually stay here and it has definitely been worth the wait. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The attention to detail in the rooms is also second to none. The location is perfect for the beach but Thira and the caldera view is only a short taxi ride away. I cannot recommend Terra Nera highly enough and George the owner and his sister Marianna have gone out of their way to accommodate our ever changing itinerary which included a cancelled ferry to Folegandros and a cancelled flight back to the UK ( thank you BA it meant we could stay in paradise an extra couple of days). We will definitely be back and already looking at dates for 2024 !

Staying at Terra Nera is simply heaven! The suites are just a few steps from the beautiful Perivolos beach with its clear calm Aegean Sea. The suites really are luxurious, beautifully & comfortably furnished with literally everything you could want. A very comfortable bed with high quality bedding & towels. Complimentary water every day, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, air con, bath robes, slippers & hairdryer. The attention to detail is exemplary. The welcome chilled bottle of Santorini wine, bowl of fruit, beautiful heart swans on our bed & little candles on our last evening. All these little touches make you feel so welcome & very special ❤️ The breakfast menu is extensive & served right next to the beach. We also enjoyed lunches & suppers at Terra Nera, delicious fresh seafood, salads, souvlaki, & the BEST homemade pizzas! Excellent service always. What makes Terra Nera really special is the staff! This is a family run hotel & the owner George & his superb team including Marianna, Stella & Christos work tirelessly to provide the warmest of welcomes. Their hospitality is so genuine & kind. By the end of our stay we felt like part of their family & already planning our return. Thank you to George & your wonderful team xxx

No matter what is written in this review, it simply will not do Terra Nera Suites justice but I will do my best. Individually styled suites and no two are the same. Truly beautiful & unique. You feel Santorini within its walls. A magnificent pool area and at times too beautiful to even look at! Every detail is meticulously thought out to give it a feeling that only experiencing it for yourselves can describe. I want to finally add, and this is most important, a place is nothing without the people within it. I can guarantee you, dear reader, that the hospitality, generosity, and warmth you receive from all who work here is unrivalled. I believe that no one does hospitality better than the Greeks, and those that devote their lives to this place, truly do it for you. Don’t think about it any longer, dive in and have the best experience. You won’t regret it.

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. Our suite was stylish, really comfortable and spotlessly clean. As a family of 4 it was perfect for our needs with a beautiful quiet pool area and really easy access to the beach. As guests at the suites you get priority loungers on the beach included which for us, who love being at the beach, was a huge bonus. The beach itself was great, beautiful clear water, nice and buzzy but not too busy either. The best part of our stay though was the friendly atmosphere, everyone was so warm and made us feel so welcome. Katerina, Yiorgos, Marianna, Stella and Christos particularly - always smiling, really made our stay special.

This little boutique hotel will always have a special place in my heart! Terra Nera is without a doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in all my years of travel. Right from the booking, the service has been consistently OUTSTANDING, with Katerina reaching out to confirm my travel schedule and car booking; Christos painstakingly and patiently helping me plan our sightseeing for each day; and Georgios and Mariana checking up on us at every meal, to check if everything was okay. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink & a traditional dessert that were amazing. The day before we left, there were candles by our door to bid us goodbye. When I enquired where we could buy the traditional dessert which my boys loved, Mariana gifted us a box to take back home. These little touches and personalised attention at this family run hotel makes each guest feel one was staying with family rather than at a hotel. I travelled with my husband and 2 boys and we had booked the Deluxe suite which was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The loo is separate from the shower which is very convenient when you have a family travelling. The beach is literally a 30 second walk from the hotel and loungers are reserved for the hotel guests so you will always find one. The beach is also possibly one of the few beaches in Santorini that is not rocky and one can actually swim in the water. There are also water sports as well as supermarket within walking distance. Finally, how can I end this review without mentioning the amazing food at Terra Nera? It was so good we did not go anywhere else to eat. The restaurant seemed pretty popular as it was crowded every evening. The seafood was fresh, the meat dishes perfectly cooked and the Greek salad with the large chunks of amazing feta, the taramasalata, the grilled feta, the yogurt were out of this world. The breakfast was fantastic and portions were generous. I would highly recommend this beautiful place.
