"The hotel reception was very kind to accede to our request for a room with a better view as there were available rooms. The upgraded room was clean and spacious, overlooking the beautiful city, albeit a tinge of cigarette smoke smell once in a while. The staff was helpful and brought us to the didi pickup point after our check-out. Definitely recommend this hotel and will book this hotel again when we return!"

"Our trip to Guilin was perfect, and I have to give the Lijiang Wangyue Hotel a full five-star rating! It's located right in the scenic area, making getting around super convenient. It's close to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, about a 10-minute walk or e-scooter ride. There are also plenty of pedestrian streets and snack streets nearby, so finding food is easy. The room was very clean; I specifically checked the mattress seams and AC vents, and there was no dust. The bed was just the right firmness, so I slept very comfortably. The smart toilet and large showerhead were huge bonuses – hot water came quickly, and the water pressure was strong, making showers very refreshing. The service felt genuine, not forced. Check-in was fast, and I was offered a cup of hot tea. The front desk has a 'treasure box' with free items, and each floor has a laundry and drying room, so you don't have to worry about clean clothes when you're out exploring. Parking was also convenient, and there are charging stations available. It offers excellent value for money; I highly recommend it!"

"Excellent hotel to relax and enjoy with the family. Very clean, excellent service. If you are looking for an hotel with a lot of movement and noise, this is not your place, slightly far from town, but this is the big pro when you are looking for a place to relax after the trip around Guilin. Highly recommend to hire the trip in the hotel to the Longji rice terraces and minority village"

"The service was very warm and attentive, making our stay very comfortable. The view was fantastic, offering an unobstructed panorama of the mountains and water, which was really pleasant. It offered great value for money, and the hygiene was excellent, with all facilities well-equipped. Highly recommended!"

"The room was clean and hygienic, and the hotel had a safety fence, which made me feel very secure staying with a small baby. The view outside the window was limited but still quite open, and it was very comfortable with the tatami and the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel staff were very nice and recommended local food and sightseeing tips. Room service was also very responsive to requests, and they even provided foot-soaking tubs in the evening. The location is right by the city bridge, very close to the pedestrian street, Xiangshan (Elephant Trunk Hill), and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, all within walking distance."

"The location is super convenient, right by the water and hills, and the sunrise is absolutely stunning. It's just a 20-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. The hotel is very clean, and the beds are quite soft and cloud-like, making it hard to get up in the morning – I even skipped going up Yao Mountain! Luckily, the sunrise view from the balcony was also fantastic. The service was incredibly warm and friendly; they helped me with my luggage all the way to the room, were very attentive to my needs, and even helped me organize my itinerary. Breakfast was plentiful, with a great variety of Chinese, Western, Guangxi, and Cantonese options. That apple-shaped bun with taro filling was delicious, and the roasted pork in the Guilin rice noodles was amazing! The hotel is right next to Fubo Hill, and you can see its reflection in the water from the balcony. Plus, there were thoughtful little gifts of Zhuang brocade and even travel photography services available. It was a really comfortable stay! ^_^"

"Right outside, you'll find the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and the night view from our room's balcony was absolutely stunning. The parking at the entrance is a bit narrow, but the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, patiently guiding us and even parking the car for us. The hotel isn't huge, but the overall environment and service offer great value for money. Both the views and the service are well worth the price. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant for two consecutive nights, and the food was delicious. We stayed for 3 days, and it was super convenient, very close to Zheng Yang Street and Elephant Trunk Hill. Jingjiang Prince City isn't too far either."

"The hotel is located in a lively and safe area, very close to tourist attractions, and right next to a commercial pedestrian street with plenty of dining options. We originally booked a twin room for three adults and one child, but the front desk lady kindly upgraded our room for free. I have to commend all the ladies at the front desk; they were incredibly patient and provided excellent service – truly beautiful and kind-hearted people! 👍"

I originally booked the room because it was 'close to East and West Alleys,' but as soon as I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a warm cup of Luo Han Guo tea. In the dimly lit wooden space, the tea table was adorned with fresh flowers and art books. The fireplace in the coffee area cast a reddish glow, complementing the warm yellow lamps. The cozy furniture made the entire lobby feel like a friend's private home, and stepping inside instantly relieved all my fatigue. The King room's details were so thoughtful: • All-room smart lighting + intelligent assistant, letting me control everything from bed. • Separate wet and dry bathroom with high-quality mini toiletries. The bathtub filled so quickly, it was 'full the moment I turned around.' • Pillows came in soft and firm options (finally no more debating which side to sleep on). • Mini-bar + welcome fruit were standard, and even the air conditioning was so responsive, 'temperature adjustments took effect instantly.' The fourth-floor terrace was a hidden gem! Sitting on the wooden steps at sunset, watching the old city, light streamed through the tea room's sliding doors onto the tea table. Every photo I took captured that 'tranquil amidst the bustle' relaxed vibe. Before bed, there was even a sweet soup of white fungus and lotus seeds as a goodnight treat 🥣 The next day's breakfast featured all local Guilin flavors, with the fresh spiciness of rice noodles infused with the old city's charm. The best part was the location: a 5-minute walk to the Sun and Moon Pagodas and East and West Alleys. "We initially booked this hotel (4 people for 2 rooms) with modest expectations, as our stay was only for two nights. Based on the reviews mentioning clean rooms and good breakfast, as well as the attractive photos and convenient location, we decided it would be a suitable choice. However, our experience far exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the hotel made a genuine effort to accommodate our special requests made during booking. We had asked for rooms that were close together, easily accessible, and quiet, as we were traveling with two elderly family members. Upon check-in, we were pleased to learn that our requests had been fully taken into consideration. This thoughtful attention to detail made a very positive impression. Secondly, the level of service provided was exceptional. The staff added me on WeChat and offered what felt like a personal butler service, providing all necessary information about the hotel and proactively checking whether we needed any assistance. Their responsiveness and warm attitude demonstrated a true commitment to guest satisfaction and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was also a highlight. There was a good variety of dishes, everything was clean and well presented, and the staff managed the service efficiently. It was a delightful start to each day. The only minor disappointment was during the traditional Chinese fan-making activity. The staff member in charge displayed a rather indifferent attitude, offering little guidance or explanation when we arrived. As I had two English friends with me, including an 88-year-old gentleman, I asked a few questions in Chinese to help them understand the process, but the responses were brief and unhelpful, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite this, we chose to complete the session for the experience, particularly for our guests visiting Guilin for the first time. That said, this minor incident did not overshadow the overall outstanding experience. I would like to commend the hotel’s redemption staff, particularly a young gentleman who provided exemplary service—assisting us with various requests such as moving a safe into our room, sharing local travel and dining recommendations, and even helping with small personal tasks. His professionalism and dedication truly went above and beyond. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent amenities and even high-quality toiletries and paper products. In conclusion, despite one small issue, the hotel’s exceptional service, attention to detail, and comfortable accommodations made our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again in the future."
