Hotels near Ferme de Chatenoy in Seine-et-Marne

Having spent 5 nights here recently we wish to post our findings our stay. First of all we arrived later in the evening but check in was completed quickly and communication was fine as all staff we met spoke good English. (Even when we tried to speak French). As a group of us we were given 3 rooms all next door or across the hall which was a nice touch. We found all three rooms to be very clean and tidy for our arrival which was welcoming after a long travel day. Rooms: At first glance rooms are spacious enough size wize. We had a bunk bed along with queen size bed in room. Bathroom has a decent size walk in shower and enough towels as you would expect. However when unpacking it was quickly identified that 6 coat hangers and one shelf was never going to be enough storage for 3 bearing in mind the room can sleep 4. So taking advantage of an empty top bunk we unpacked what we could and lived out of a case. A set of draws or 2 wouldn't go amiss. Secondly air con wasn't working in any of our rooms. It was blowing but just warm air. This isnt what you need in a warm room. No fans were in room. These however may have been available had we asked. Rooms decor was a little quaint as decor across whole hotel is bird themed so deffo something a little different. Bar: Not everyone using hotels will use a bar however we as a family like to wind down our day over a drink or two and a game of cards etc however here we found this simple task harder than needed. Unsure if there were staffing issues during our stay but the bar and reception was run by one staff member. So required running between bar and reception to please everyone. During our stay there were issues with chillers meaning no cold beer was on hand or chilled drinks. This wasn't a huge issue as where possible ice was given with drinks however the process of popping to the bar for a drink became a task. No fault of the staff as they were apologetic and did all they could however not what you would expect from a BW branded hotel. Food: On arrival we were advised there was no restaurant operating in the hotel so they had teamed with local restaurants in area for delivery. Again a strange situation for a best western. It did mean that you.could bring your own food / drink into the bar /restaurant area but again felt a little strange doing this. Breakfast: This was available from 7-10 and had a reasonable selection of pastries and continental choices. Beans and Sausages with scrambled egg along with hot and cold drinks. Overall it was adequate. Location: Hotel is advertised as 10 mins from Disney. However this needs to be confirmed that this is likley if you have your own car. In fact it was a 10 mins bus ride to Valley De Europe Train Station and shopping center.Cost of this is 2$ each. From here Disneyland is one stop away on the RER costing $1.90 and $5 into Paris City. Local public transport bus 2 or 22 is available from bus stop a short walk away meaning the journey to Disneyland

Hotel was clean, room was very small but we were only stopping over for one night with the 2 of us so not a problem. Heater was provided. Parking was free and found a space easily. We had dinner and drinks at the hotel which were lovely and the food was locally sourced. Football table and arcade machine were a fun touch and the theming was nice too. We had breakfast but due to covid restrictions in Nov21, there was no hot food but it was still enjoyable. Only issue was in the very early morning we had trouble opening our front door due to the damp weather and (I think) the door swelled slightly. Had to lean out the window and open it from the outside with the keycard. we saw another family struggling to get their door open too. Mentioned it to reception so hopefully this has been addressed now and no longer an issue. Would stay again due to amazing price and proximity to Disney if driving.

It was the second time that I stayed there and my first time solo. I had an issue with my room but they solved it really quick. The staff is super polite, the rooms are comfy and the breakfast has lots of selections and offers. I'm really happy with my stay here.

Excellent Hotel. It's on the RER A subway line Val d'Europe stop, it's right near the station. Nearby are a delicious bubble tea shop and a Korean restaurant. Also a big shopping mall and even an outlet mall. The rooms are clean, good size, big comfortable beds. Most hotel rooms in Paris are tiny (we know from experience). The curtains block all the light. Front desk service was polite and relatively efficient. We saw the good reviews and we were skeptical, but we really had no problems with this hotel. The price is good. But to go to the city centre by RER took us around half an hour, not very close. And the subway tickets line can be long!

A very good hotel. When I first arrived, a tall and thin male at the front desk greeted me in Chinese. I have to say that this friendly approach was very effective. It is a five-minute walk from the bus station and a half-hour bus ride from Disney. There is a game arcade and restaurant downstairs, and there is a hotel right outside the door. The surrounding environment is also the neatest and cleanest neighborhood in Paris. After the fireworks show, I took the No. 34 bus back and there were many people together, so it was very safe. The facilities are new, soundproofed, and clean. Towels are cleaned and changed every day. The room is large. The breakfast includes milk, yogurt, eggs, bacon, bread, meat, jam... and a variety of cereals. It is considered to have a relatively rich breakfast selection among hotels of the same level in Europe. . The children said that they would stay here again next time they go to Disney. Okay, sure!

Except for the location, please do n’t be too good. If you do n’t want to live in the city center, stay here quietly for a few days. This is perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped with laundry facilities. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two toilets. There is a large master bedroom. Bathtub, living room kitchen downstairs, a toilet, family-friendly living is very suitable, the hotel also has an indoor pool, a small supermarket, children's activities room ... In short, if you did not book a return ticket in advance, I really want to stay a few more days. I will stay here again next time I go to Paris.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. So I’m going to start with the positives….we stayed here for 2 nights in September and used as a base to visit Disneyland Paris. The shuttle runs regularly and takes no more than 10 minutes. We found it really easy and convenient. The biggest positive about this hotel by an absolute country mile were the staff in this hotel. I found every single one of them to be friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. That is why I feel I am giving such a disservice to them for the 3 stars! Those behind reception were helpful, polite and really willing to assist where the could. Check-in and out were swift and any questions I asked were helpfully dealt with. My son had a nose bleed one night whilst sleeping and bled quite a bit over the sheets. I went down the next morning to tell them and asked if I needed to pay anything additional as a result of this but they were more concerned about the well-being of my son and said not to worry about the bedding because their cleaners would be able to do deal with it. I thought their response to the situation was really kind and compassionate. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the restaurant staff are wonderful! The manager, is fantastic. She did give me her name because I asked for it for TA reason but then accidentally lost the card (so sorry - the lady with the longer brown hair). She really went over and above to make sure her guests were happy and well attended. She was attentive to all the children (as you can imagine, being so close to Disney there were a few!) and really made children and adults alike feel so welcome. Overall all of the restaurant staff were great, the food was nice, service good and my son actually loved it so much the first night he wanted to go back the second, where they made a big fuss over him because it was he’s birthday which was lovely. So as I say, the people here really made it and the ease of getting to Disney. The rooms were ok in terms of storage but were dated and worn. They were clean but definitely could do with TLC and some investment. They were also hot, so so so hot. And this was end-September! The air-con didn’t work and Reception did their best to get it to be centrally cooled down but I had to sleep under the window with the little window opening gap over me. I’m no doctor but it wouldn’t surprise me if the stuffiness caused my sons nosebleed as he does suffer with them when he gets bunged up which he did in that room. Breakfast I didn't think was worth the price, it wasn't particularly warm, limited options and badly laid out. I can't say I would recommend it. Final note which didn’t bother me or affect my stay but an observation, the ladies toilets off of the bar are really the strangest I've ever seen. So badly designed, the door is smack bang next to a supporting post so its awkward to get into and you feel like getting out you have to do some strange Matrix-style move!! The good is location, near Disneyland, frequent free shuttle but not right infront of the hotel so I missed my stop and had to walk 1km back to the hotel. hotel room feels very dark, dark floor dark furniture. Toilet has many insects , silverfish. Very old hotel. Wallpaper tearing. Toilet ceiling fixed by a piece of wood. I stayed mid Dec, central heating is poor. The room is very cold which is unacceptable for me. Thankfully I stayed only 1 night. I also stayed at Staycity which is so much better. Except it’s further from Disney but has free shuttle to and from hotel and Disney. Will not recommend aparthotel adagio Serris.

Room was spacious enough for us 3, very clean, cheap rate with breakfast, welcoming and helping staff, free gated parking, close to RER station for visit to Paris or Disneyland, easy access from freeway. Not our first stay here. We will stay again when visiting the area.

Excellent location with regular shuttle back and forth Disney land. Easy to get to from CDG using either RER B line to Paris and then A line to marne la vallee chessy or the high speed TGV direct from CDG to Marne La Vallee. Stayed in studio apartment, excellent size for a couple and really clean. Hotel staff spoke English and French which was great. Really cannot fault anything.
