Qianmo Youth Hostel (Shanghai Yuyuan Xintiandi)

I hastily selected a youth hostel on the map, but I didn’t expect the experience to be so good. There is unlimited drinking water and coffee, the bath water is always hot, and all daily necessities are available. It is clean and hygienic, and it is close to the subway entrance. You can watch the stars on the terrace at night, which is great ~

Very good youth hostel, good location, high cost performance, clean bathroom

I stayed for only one night. It was cost-effective and close to the subway station (you have to walk across the street to get an elevator). There are Starbucks and McDonald's next to the hotel. It is suitable for short-term stays with a tight budget. Facilities: The bathroom, toilet, and washing area are shared. They are cleaned by an aunt every day. They are quite clean and have a hair dryer. Hygiene: Generally, the air in the quadruple room I stayed in was a little stagnant and there was a stench of shoes, but it was tolerable for only one night. Environment: There was decoration facing the street when I checked in, and it was noisy at more than 8 o'clock in the morning. The bed was not private, and there were curtains and separate cabinets. Service: There is no elevator in the store. You can ask the front desk customer service to help carry the luggage to the second floor. The service attitude is quite good.

This is my first time staying at this hostel. The environment of the hostel is okay and the transportation nearby is relatively convenient. The facilities of this hostel are not good. There is a socket on the bed but it is blocked. When I asked the hostel, they said it was blocked due to fire protection requirements. There are only three USB ports and charging is very slow. This is a very bad experience. Everything else is acceptable, but this aspect is a very bad experience! I have stayed in several hostels before, and I also encountered a hostel that only had USBs and no sockets. But that hotel had no sockets at all. This hotel did have sockets, but they were blocked by fire protection requirements. This lack of sockets really brings great inconvenience to the guests.

It is very close to the Bund, Chenghuang Temple, Yu Garden, Xintiandi, People's Square, Shanghai Museum, and the First Congress Site. It is very convenient to travel at the subway entrance. It is suitable for young people with a low budget. If you have high requirements for the living environment, I don't recommend living here.

The location of the youth hostel is very good, not far from Yu Garden, People's Square and the Bund. There is no problem with the sanitation. But when I was about to go to sleep that day, I found that the socket at the head of the bed was like this, and so were the other beds. I asked the front desk the next morning and found out that this was done for fire safety considerations. So I must suggest that the hotel socket situation should be indicated in a prominent position at the front desk or in the WeChat that guests are required to add, and a USB conversion interface should be provided. As a backpacker, not having a charger is fatal. Please consider it seriously.

This hotel left me with very good memories! As soon as I walked in, I could feel the warm and comfortable a**osphere. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and soft and comfortable bedding, which made people have a good night's sleep. The service staff was very warm and thoughtful, whether it was checking in or solving questions, they were quick and patient. The breakfast was rich and varied, fresh and delicious, which made people feel very satisfied. The surrounding environment is beautiful, the transportation is convenient, and it is easy to travel. This stay made me deeply feel at home, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

The room is very small. The house is very cold. The toilet is also very small and the water is not hot. You still have to sit on the toilet🙃The most uncomfortable thing is that there is an electric drill next door so early in the morning.
