"Stayed here for two nights, traveling to the main places, the museum, the Royal residence, old market and pub street, very convenient.
Lovely staff, polite, contact hotel transfer and car to travel very convenient, inexpensive, delicious food."
"Amazing hotel, breakfast simple but very good, location is just perfect, walking distance from night markets, quality of amenities is lovely, interior design is just beautiful. Only thing I didn't like was bathtub not working, everything else was just perfect, especially attention from staff, they put too much effort to make you feel comfortable. Best hotel in town"
"This hotel is excellent in every way but the staff are the icing on the cake. I received a warm welcome with a glass of fresh orange juice and Mr Meas gave me a personal introduction to the hotel and showed me around and the room. The breakfast is delicious and you could choose from variety of options and open from 6 am until 11 am. Other meals can be provided also. The breakfast lounge is next to the pool and very pleasant environment to start your day. The room was beautiful, spacious with antique wooden furniture. Very clean room and daily cleaning provided. The services provided are excellent and staff are always around to facilitate any of your request and willing to go extra mile to accommodate. The foot massage was very professional and one of the best I have had. The location is not too far and costs about 3 USD for a Tuktuk ride to the centre. Mr Sochea sent me off after my stay with colleagues and throughout the stay I received a more personalized family orientated service I would say. It was sad to leave this hotel. On an additional note, Cambodia is a must see country with full of very friendly and kind people. I had a great time there! I shall return again to this country / hotel and looking forward to staying longer the next time."

"It is relatively close to Siem Reap Night Market, and breakfast for children is charged. The rooftop pool is great. The room facilities are relatively old, probably from a building that has been built for many years, but they are still relatively clean."
"Great Hotel with free breakfast and huge rooms. All in all a very nice property. Very responsive service. Getting to any tourist spots is zero issue as they can either coordinate the tour for you, or if you want to go it solo there is usually one to three Tuk Tuks parked outside.
(I use the Grab App essentially Uber and Uber Eats in one app)
Pub street is a nice short walk away if you don’t mind the heat.
There is a business across the street that does laundry and they are a beautiful family. Sweet people. They return your laundry folded and wrapped in plastic for you.
Great experience in general and I will stay here again."
"The location was good and there were places to eat nearby.
Difficult to walk to pub street and night market.
It would be a good idea to take a tuk-tuk as it is easy to pick up.
The window lock was broken on one side."
"Quiet in the noisy, good service, and overall satisfaction.
The room details are very good, and the decoration design is almost a bit relative to the price/performance ratio."
"The boys at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful, good service.. great staff
...not so much some cleaners saying bad words outside the door to taunt the foreign guest the first day of arrival (."
"My first time staying at this hotel and I find that all the staffs were very friendly and approachable and always putting on a smiling face. Room stay is good except for the air conditioning wasn’t cool enough and it was promptly changed upon my request.
Overall the stay is a pleasant one."
"As a hotel enthusiast, I have to say Jaya House went above and beyond my expectations and truly represents what a true luxury hotel experience should be. What makes this place above and beyond is the people. From the owner to the managers to the staff, every single person at Jaya House brings their whole, authentic, warm-nature and kind-hearted self to deliver an experience that truly makes you feel welcomed, noticed, appreciated, relaxed and dare I say… ‘loved’. Everyday you are greeted with warm smiles and a ‘ready to help’ attitude. No request is too small or large. At some point, I felt as though I was staying at the Aman. That’s how good the service was and those who know me, know that I’m a tough critic. At the moment, the entire country of Cambodia is still recovering from Covid. Tourism is not back 100% yet so the spa is not open and dinner service is not available. Jaya House will let you know this in advance so you can manage your trip organization. Beyond the service, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping team is so on top of their game, to the point that we had to stop them from replacing the towels after only being used one time. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious and they make their own tea which is amazing. The location is a bit outside of the ‘center’ and when I say a bit outside, it’s only 1.5km at most… but hey, when you’re in a relaxing mode even a 5 minute tuk-tuk can feel far 😊. Overall - an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back when the spa is opened."

Amazing
GGuest UserSala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel.
The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!
ZZhangyansuanThe room was in line with expectations, similar to the pictures
The pool is large, and the pool room means you can see the pool/walk to the pool door
The service is neither humble nor arrogant. Checking in early will charge more money
Breakfast is 3-4 stars, generally acceptable
JJoelbastedoAnjali was perfect. Quiet, restful, and beautiful. The pool is always shaded by dense foliage so it seemed like we were in the middle of the jungle. The restaurant was amazing, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange all our tours and activities. We were especially lucky to have Mr. Chhlen drive us around all week in the tuktuk and the van: not only was he kind and knowledgeable, making helpful suggestions for attractions and restaurants we wouldn’t have known about otherwise, but also he was very attentive to our kids and helped keep them safe and entertained when we were out temples and souvenir shops. We highly recommend Anjali and would stay again.
DDavidchhunAmazing Hostel, the room was clean and spacious. They had music playing loud downstairs but couldn’t hear it at all which was impressive. The staff were lovely and had little events happening though out like quizzes, karaoke etc but you didn’t have to take part if you didn’t want too. Staff were lovely and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more!
NNatalya*This was by far the best hotel and service experience I have ever had! Staff greets you and even sends you off with farewell. Breakfast buffet so amazing. And when I wasn’t feeling well they even made me special oatmeal I requested for free. The rooms are so nice and artistic, beds so comfy. The mango wrap was so nice and includes massage and snacks. I would love to come back! Check out the New Dream of Cambodia Children School which is the only free school by donation. And also check out the Phare Circus. Of course temples but Beng Mealea temple is a less touristy hidden gem!
HH MatthiasA beautiful hotel well deserving of its 5-star rating. Check in was quick and a cold towel and fruit tea were served. Beautiful pool (though it can get crowded), and extremely huge room with a great view of the property. The bathroom was gigantic - the tub could easily a few people in it. Note that in order to control the AC, you have to bring the remote close to the central control (near the door).
Breakfast had a wide selection of food with an egg station and was extremely delicious. I had dinner twice at the restaurant, and each time the food did not disappointment.
The pool bar has happy hour promotions from 6-7pm, although it closes by 8pm.
The best asset about this place would be their guest-facing staff. Always smiling, greeting, and remembering every single guest by name. Everyone spoke very good English and always showed interest in guests, anticipating their needs. They also packed breakfast for guests going on the Angkor Wat sunrise tour. Special shoutout to Andy and Jenny for taking care of me so well.
My only critique would be that housekeeping could have been a bit more meticulous.
LLudovicusThe service at this hotel was, all in all, excellent. The staff (with the minor exception of the young, night shift receptionists) was super helpful and kind. And the complimentary breakfast was also excellent. These were huge plusses. But small (some really tiny) cockroaches were lurking in the bathroom on all nights of my stay, which i did not mind as much as the sunrise watching ***** who slammed the door at exiting at 5am... Perhaps better soundproofing possible?
GGuest UserThe hotel has seen its glory days. Worn out rooms and half-cleaned. The breakfast was pretty good and the pool was fantastic as was the staff. If the rooms were refreshed including the bathroom this could be a great hotel.
MMariasmdThe room was exactly as show on the photos; spacious clean and bright. I could order breakfast to my room which was great. The first day breakfast was 15 minutes late, but luckily I wasn’t heading for the airport or anything. At the time of my stay there were offering 2 choices for breakfast, which were both delicious. The room came fully stocked with snacks as well as al pullover and Jon alcoholic drinks for cheap. Everything was around a dollar to a dollar twenty five. There is no elevator at this hotel. I was on the third floor and only had a carry-on luggage. Staff were pleasant and answered questions patiently.
RRyan Cooper 王睿安The location might be slightly TOO good! It’s directly across the Pub Street so it can be loud until late. However besides that it’s a pretty nice hotel. I noticed some things could use some renovation but overall not a bad place. This photo is of the stage that was setup outside (during the new year).
