Very nice and reasonably priced hotel. The location is quite good, easy to walk to the National Museum, some little shops and restaurants nearby, or you can just grab a Tuk Tuk and go wherever. I didn’t try breakfast but I went for lunch at their restaurant. The food and price was very good, in addition you can get 25 % discount coupon for the restaurant when checking in. The room was clean and everything was standard and nice. The only thing I missed was more electricity outlets by the bed. I was in a twin room and there was only one socket to plug in phone, and other devices to charge. Overall was happy with my stay.

A friend had booked a room for me in this hotel for four nights. I was on the ground floor, and was very happy with the room. Air conditioning worked well, and although I was close to the reception area, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable A large double bed and some oversized furniture is used to furnish the room. Cambodian furniture is massive, a cherry red color and practically speaking, immovable. Had NO problems with the internet and had a good nights sleep. Outside the hotel are tuk tuks - dedicated to the hotel - ready to whisk away any visitor to any part of the city one chooses to vist. The drivers do speak English. Breakfast is served on the roof of the hotel, and for a vegetarian the selection was adequate - barely. Cost of the buffet is USD 5.00 Alongside the rooftop breakfast room (terrace) there is a small swimming pool, more suited to those who wish to cool off, rather than those hoping to swim laps. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. A couple of major markets are within walking distance. Vit KIng restaurant (exclusively vegetarian) IS close by, but the selection is pretty limited unfortunately. Siem Reap is a nice town, well worth spending a few days in. Pretty much wherever one would want to go (with the exception of some attractions like Angkor Wat), is within walking street - the entertainment hub, and tourist market - Pub Street is nearby. If staying more than a night, ask for a discounted rate. The reception desk staff are helpful and well informed.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

Stayed in the Angkor wing Deluxe King room for six nites. Check-in was poolside (excellent), Room is nice but light switches took a while to figure out, Bathroom is nice but towel hooks can be better placed. We had to ask for room slippers and cotton wool/buds. Breakfast was good, and was the food in the Kroya restaurant. Service staff all very friendly and accommodating. My two dissatisfactions were mozzies (even in the restaurant and rooms, even though my balcony door was never opened), and the village volleyball courts (3 courts in total I believe) where locals play early/late and they are loud. Oh, on rainy nights, the crickets and frogs are very very loud (hotel room doors seem to let thru all the outside noise). Also took me to get used to the buddha pic right above the bed (it stares down on you as u sleep).

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Bayon Modern Residence. I received a very friendly greeting from the hotel driver who picked me up from a rather delayed flight. Arriving at the facility I was promptly greeted at reception with a welcome drink and brought to my room. The room was quite large with balcony and giant bathtub. The bed was comfortable and I slept well each night. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The hotel features a large breakfast buffet and made to order omelet station. It has a coffee bar for lattes and assorted beverages. I absolutely loved the large swimming pool in the center of the hotel. It has a tropical garden feel. There is a poolside cocktail bar where I enjoyed an expertly prepared cocktail. Above all what makes the Bayon Residence special is the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Many of the staff members remembered and called me by name. They often checked in to see if anything was needed and were happy to organize tuk tuk rides, give local recommendations and meet any needs. The gardeners create a special oasis. The plantings are extensive and beautifully kept. I noticed maintenance staff preparing decorations for the upcoming Khmer New Year. The cleaning staff work meticulously and the dining staff served delicious food. I particularly enjoyed conversations with the front desk staff, bartender and marketing manager. I highly recommend a stay and look forward to coming back on my next visit to Cambodia.

The hotel is prefect including location walking to pub street in 15 mins, restaurant near by and in the hotel, reasonable price, staff is helpful, but I was at 3/fl, I could hear sound from the 4/fl bar. Most of time the noise will stop around 10:30 pm.

From arranging transportation to and from the airport to helping me mail out postcards, their support was invaluable. I couldn't have asked for more. In terms of location, The Sarai's proximity to the main shopping and restaurant area is incredibly convenient. The short tuk tuk ride or 10-minute walk ensured that I had easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the city. Additionally, I would like to mention the excellent tuk tuk drivers that your hotel has partnered with. These local drivers were not only knowledgeable about their beautiful city, but they also provided exceptional service and were readily available to show me around. Their passion for Siem Reap was evident, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city with their guidance. My experience at The Sarai has been nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of exceptional service, top-notch amenities, and a dedicated staff has made my stay truly memorable. Viroth's Hotel is truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was superb, with thoughtful little touches like providing me mosquito repellent before taking a walk in the evenings. It is located just a quick walk to the main shopping and dining center, but is on a quiet and peaceful street. The hotel helped me arrange a driver for touring the Angkor Wat temples, and he was excellent. The spa services were top notch and well priced. The breakfast menu was expansive and delicious, I loved trying their many options, and ate several meals in the hotel restaurant. The facilties were spotless and stylish, and the beautiful salt water pool was so refreshing after a day spent sightseeing. And they pick you up from the airport in a vintage Mercedes! I cannot recommend this hotel enough and hope to stay here again.
