Shangri-La Hotels in Singapore

Great Hotel. Will definitely go back once in Singapore. Very accessible to and from USS thru cable car. Hotel also has service Bus to Vivo city, Palawan Beach and back. Just need to know departure and pick-up time from lobby Had the view of the Seafront and swimming pool from our 9th flr room which was perfect. Loved the laksa for breakfast though other food was just the same. The usual as i may say. Nice Gym, Bathtubs though they have no bidets!

Although the property is a bit older, it retains the charm of a traditional luxury hotel with expansive grounds, a sense of grandeur, and a truly upscale atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious, and the quality of amenities such as the bathrobe and slippers was excellent. Plenty of bottled water was provided in the room, and even more could be requested for free if needed. The afternoon tea was absolutely outstanding. It featured delicious local savory items and traditional local desserts, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Although the set is usually for two people, once the staff realized I was alone, they adjusted both the portion and the price accordingly. I also ordered an additional coffee, which was very good. The service was excellent throughout, and the tableware and overall ambiance added to the refined experience.

We are with kids and back for summer holidays and stayed 23 nights. It’s a lovely big 1 br apartment with old school charm, but you’re guaranteed privacy as it’s not over populated, and yet you get access to Shangri-La hotel’s facilities! Location is good that it’s a short walk to orchard road though the pavement up and down the slope on orange grove isn’t the best for walking. The staff and service is the best here compared to even other 5 star hotels as they look after more familiar longer staying guests. Definitely would come back!
