EEmily1020The hotel's location next to a mall is quite good. However, the service was a major letdown. When we entered our room, we realized it didn't match the photos on Trip.com, and it was actually one half of a connecting room. So, we went downstairs to the front desk. The Singaporean lady who checked us in initially was polite, but then a Filipino individual, who seemed to be a supervisor, became very arrogant. They first claimed that room type was sold out, then said we had checked in after 7 PM – which was ridiculous. In the end, they gave us another room, but it still wasn't what we booked. Since we had a child with us, we decided to just make do. Upon entering that room, we discovered the showerhead wasn't properly installed, so we had to call maintenance to fix it. There was no turndown service at night, and despite the menu listing various pillow options, none were available when we asked. We eventually had to complain to Trip.com, and thankfully their customer service was very responsive. I honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family vacation; you'd be better off choosing another place.

YYeshejiudianaihaozheThe location is super convenient, with a subway station right downstairs and Raffles City mall next door. Suntec City is just across the street. You can easily walk to the National Gallery and St. Andrew's Cathedral, passing the Old Hill Street Police Station and Fort Canning Park on the way to Clarke Quay. I arrived around 8 AM and was surprised they let me check in early! The concierge at the door was incredibly welcoming, took my luggage, and led me to check-in. The front desk staff didn't speak Chinese, but with a bit of gesturing and guessing, everything went smoothly. My room had a balcony, and even though I booked the most basic room type, I could still see Marina Bay Sands (though not directly facing it), which was a pleasant surprise! The view from the 70th-floor SKAI bar is fantastic, and reservations are highly recommended. One of the female servers was particularly wonderful. She was so enthusiastic when I made the reservation. Later, when I arrived, there were no window seats left. Halfway through my drink, she came over, helped me gather my things, said 'follow me,' and moved me to a window table! Breakfast was just okay, but considering the local prices, it was still pretty decent value for money.

GGuest UserEnvironment: Quiet and natural, the balcony is fully sheltered from the rain, which is very pleasant ❤️ Service: The hotel's usher and front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and ready to answer any questions (though only some front desk staff speak Chinese). I was particularly impressed when Jitsin, the receptionist, explained the hotel shuttle bus. When I mentioned I wanted to go to Siloso Beach, he detailed the entire route for me. The hotel's breakfast is of excellent quality and the setting is beautiful!

GGuest UserThis stay had quite a few hiccups. The room door lock broke twice. Luckily, I have a habit of checking the handle lock when leaving, and it just opened without needing a card! They handled it promptly and sent someone to fix it, but it broke again the second time I left, severely impacting my safety and travel plans. I was very annoyed. After contacting room service, they moved us to a room in the main building, but as soon as we opened the door, a strong musty smell hit us. The automatic blackout curtains were also broken. After requesting it, we moved rooms again. The musty smell was much less noticeable, probably due to the windows being unable to open for a long time. The staff's attitude was good, but the hotel's facilities and room environment need significant improvement.

AAnonymous UserIf you don't expect any service and are happy to be self-sufficient, then this hotel's good location might be worth considering... I stayed for five nights and I'm almost speechless with frustration. Pros: Excellent location, good facilities, and the dining is decent. Cons: The service is terrible. The front desk phone is almost never answered. Some staff members have absolutely no professional ethics; they'll twist facts and accuse guests to cover up their own mistakes! The overall service is poor; many employees aren't willing to help you and are quick to pass the buck or make excuses. It doesn't live up to the service quality expected for a hotel of this caliber.

SSH~SUMMERI stayed here for a week because I was too lazy to switch hotels. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk to Orchard Road and the MRT station, and there's a bus stop right outside, making transportation very convenient. However, it seems like they don't have any Chinese-speaking staff, so it might not be ideal for independent travelers who don't speak English well. I also have to complain about the housekeeping; it was obvious they did a very perfunctory job. When they changed the sheets, they'd take my pajamas off the bed and instead of folding them or at least putting them back on the bed, they'd leave them on the bedside table or even tucked inside the drawer. I bring most of my own toiletries and rarely use the hotel's, but even for the few things I did use, they weren't replenished during cleaning. There's also no complimentary bottled water in the room, even though I saw full cases of water on the cleaning cart, which makes me assume you have to specifically ask for it.

Xxuhaiming7799The hotel's location is right in the heart of Orchard Road, surrounded by large shopping malls. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to the MRT station, as you need to cross the street and wait for traffic lights. The hotel isn't cheap, likely due to its prime location. PALAGON is directly opposite, and the Hilton is right across the street. The restaurant on the 4th floor is a bit pricey for dinner; around S$60+ per person didn't quite fill me up. Overall, I'd still consider staying here again. Facilities: The hotel appears to have opened only a few years ago, so the facilities are relatively new. The lobby on the first floor and the restaurant on the fourth floor are both very nice, though they feel a little small. Room facilities are also fine, but water tends to overflow a bit from the shower. Cleanliness: Good, no complaints. Service: The staff are all very friendly. Some restaurant staff speak Chinese, but it seems the front desk staff do not.

GGuest UserAfter booking the hotel, I saw a lot of negative reviews on a certain app, which made me quite worried about my trip. After a family experience, here are my thoughts: 1. **Check-in**: We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM. I didn't see any bellboys (there were steps but no ramp, which is not luggage-friendly). There were a few customers at the front desk checking in. I waited for two people before it was my turn. On that day, I didn't see any Chinese-speaking staff, but English was fine. I checked in first, there was no deposit, and I left my luggage for storage (when we came back, the luggage was already in the room). There was an island entry QR code on the front desk (be sure to take a picture). The person who assisted me was an Indian girl, beautiful and with a good attitude. 2. **Room (Family Room)**: When we entered the room, the sofa bed was already made, and amenities were laid out, but the duvet cover was casually left behind the door and not taken away. The glass mineral water in the refrigerator was not checked during cleaning; there was a half-used bottle from the previous guest that hadn't been replaced. I called the front desk to ask someone to change the water (it took quite a while). The room came with complimentary coconut water and snacks, a double vanity, and the amenities were quite complete. We found the air conditioning wasn't cooling properly that day. I informed a staff member, who noted it down but didn't resolve it. The next day, I contacted the front desk staff, and it was eventually fixed. On the third day, after the room was cleaned, no drinking water was left, so I called the front desk again. Overall, the front desk's attitude and speed in handling issues were good, though some individual cleaning staff might not be meticulous enough. 3. **Other**: The pool isn't big and not crowded. You can get towels at the front desk. Breakfast is à la carte; they'll provide you with a Chinese and English menu based on your nationality. There's a wide variety of sets, and one portion is more than enough for one person (each set also comes with two eggs beforehand). (Don't choose the Chinese style, it's not very good.) The staff service attitude is good. My child didn't go the last few days, and they could pack the breakfast for us to take back. In the evenings, they would proactively greet us, and if you need ice, just ask the front desk! We stayed for three nights in total, and check-out was very quick. They also helped load our luggage into the taxi. A beautiful Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk was particularly helpful. The hotel's location is excellent; right opposite is the mini train station, and it's only about a five-minute walk to Universal Studios. Next to the mini train station, there's a Starbucks, KFC, and 7-Eleven, all very convenient.

HHappypillsPXEmail Sofitel for a complimentary birthday cake/ deco thank you accepting requests. Room was decorated with simple balloons and a slice of chocolate cake which was delicious! Bed was comfortable but pillow was too soft despite stacking 2 together- woke up with a neck ache Bathroom - the bath tub tap isn’t moveable hence took a while to clean off the bubbles / soap frm pervious use. Breakfast spread was decent with some gluten free selection available. Noted they served pork on the buffet . Breakfast restaurant was crowded ( went around 9.30am) lots of Chinese’s family. The directory was not updated by the walk way- was looking for the chocolateria but after asking we were told that the board was not updated Gym is at another building shared with raffles hotel which need to take a shutter bus over Pool size is decent with short “laps” division and depth indicated and thumb up for the seats /pool side bed. pool

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The amenities were excellent and everything was very well maintained. There was a fantastic variety of food options available, and every meal we had was absolutely delicious. A special mention goes to the team at the Sanctuary Tea Room — especially the lovely Filipino lady who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her warmth and attentiveness really made our experience extra special. The location is perfect — just a 5-minute walk to Universal Studios and the Oceanarium, which made our trip so convenient and stress-free. Overall, a superb stay with great service, delicious food, and an unbeatable location. We’ll definitely be back again!
