Best Hotels in Soka, Japan

This place was the best place we stayed in our 2 week Japan trip. The staff, the room, the location - all of it was perfect. It was so good, our family cancelled our reservation with another hotel on the return leg to Tokyo and re-booked here. The location is quiet but wonderful, with restaurants, groceries, interesting local shops and most importantly, 2 subway lines - all within a few minutes. The peacefulness of the area was actually perfect after spending a day/night in the chaos of Shinjuku, Akhihabara, etc. I don't see many reviews for this place - probaly due to it's newness, but trust me - it's more than full value. It really felt like our home-away-from-home in Tokyo. The only people I'd say this hotel isn't for, is the party crowd. If you specifically want the full nightlife experience of Tokyo, look for something in Shinjuku. But for a family or a less party-oriented traveler, this hotel is ideal. Our family of four had 2 twin beds and a bunk beds and we fit very comfortably. We are tall and space in Japan is at a premium - we never felt cramped at Section L, the setup is great. Pro tip: we didn't discover this until the end, but there is storage space under the bed for suitcases. Wish we'd found it sooner! Bonus: the toaster in the room is absolutely next-level fantastic.

This place is called (Yushima). Take the skyliner from Narita Airport and get off at (Keisei Ueno) station. It takes about ten minutes to walk there. The two closest subway lines to the hotel are Line C and Line G, which correspond to (Yushima) Station and (Ueno Hirokoji) Station respectively. It is very convenient to go anywhere. There is a convenience store across the road from the hotel. My daughter and I have breakfast here. We have steamed buns, fried chicken, salads, noodles, snacks, everything. The hotel room is fully equipped, just like the picture. It is several square meters larger than the average hotel. It is also fully equipped and very quiet. My daughter and I slept very soundly at night. The air conditioning is sufficient. You need to adjust the smart temperature control button at the door to take a shower. I didn't know it on the first day, but it was freezing cold in the shower. Later I adjusted it to 60 degrees and it was very comfortable. If I get off the bus and come to Tokyo, I will definitely book here again.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Although the location is bit far from JR station. But overall quality and performance were great. So, I highly recommend this hotel!

Location wise is okay, a few mins away from Inaricho Station which is the Ginza line. The room is really not good tho, you can find mould everywhere from curtains to the shower room. I used a tissue to wipe the door and it had little black spots. We almost wanted to change hotels if it wasn't the summer peak where all the other hotels are either expensive or fully booked... We were here for a few days so we just let it go. Please really ask the management to look into it. A budget hotel should also have their own standards as well. You can't just rely on being a budget friendly hotel to keep the hotel running. Cleanliness is super important to a hotel.

At first have shocked the hotel not allowed us to go in 2 persons even you book twins room , I don’t know what the reasons ask us to pay more money 3000 yen per day.. but luckily trip.com here help so much for customer and they talk with the hotel and refund my money. Thanks trip.com so much appreciated.. Overall hotel ok with breakfast japanese bread and juice. And free drinks too. Surrounding a lot shops and foods. Walk 500 m to akihabara stations Twins room so small but very clean . The staff all speak chinese, english little bit understand

its our 2nd time to stay here in this hotel . we loved the location its very near to affordable foods like yoshinoya,sukiya,ramen hidakaya and mcdonalds and a 14mins walk only to ameyoko ueno

＜Good place＞ ※Single room use ・It's close to the station and reasonably priced (especially if it comes with a round-trip ticket from a travel website), but the rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. ・Don't worry about breakfast; there are options such as the cafe on the first floor of the hotel and the convenience store nearby. ・Many power taps ・There is an outlet on the bed where you can plug in the outlet and USB cable as it is, and the bed has a wide space where you can put things on the bed, and it is easy to put a mobile phone, mobile battery, or a Switch-sized portable game console. ＜Good place＞ ※Single room use ・It's close to the station and reasonably priced (especially if it comes with a round-trip ticket from a travel website), but the rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. ・Don't worry about breakfast; there are options such as the cafe on the first floor of the hotel and the convenience store nearby. ・Many power taps ・There is an outlet on near bed . Toilet is clean Bad point＞ ・Since there is only a shower room, it is difficult when fatigue is accumulated in the legs and back. ・When using the shower, the floor is soaked even if it is closed properly. 2/3 of the towel for wiping the feet is soaking wet ・The brightness of the indoor lighting cannot be changed, and it is not possible to illuminate only the foot of the bed.

Location was good, (use Iriya exit at Ueno station). However bed was pretty hard and not comfortable to sleep on. On the mixed gender levels they did not provide the female skincare items (e.g. makeup remover, facial foam and cleanser) which were provided in all-female levels. Only toiletries provided was shampoo, soap and conditioner, others need to buy. Towel and hairdryer are rentable. It would be better if they charged a room rate that includes all the toiletries and amenities. Breakfast was decent and the shared eating area at the first floor was a good size. They allow for luggage storage only on the day of check-in and check-out.

The staffs at the counter are very polite and friendly. Rooms are clean and charging cable are also provided. The washing machine are free to use, only pay for the dryer. Have a hard time finding the location of the hotel when check in, however later we found out that there a bus directly in front of the hotel that bring us to the JR station. There also a family mart just beside the hotel. Overall we had a very good stay at the hotel.
