Fabulous and stunning hotel. The hotel its self is beautiful and full of interesting historic and original features. The bedrooms are beautiful. Very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Lots of toiletries and beverages provided in room. Large, clean comfortable bed and good wardrobe space and lighting. It’s a large hotel so lots of walking just to get to your room, however, there are so many paintings and objects of interest to view on the way, you don’t notice. Dinner was fantastic! High praise and compliments to the Chef Martin and his team. We enjoyed first class cooking with local produce which was clearly cooked and presented with passion. The service was excellent! Nicki, and her team were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to learn from Nicki about how creative passionate the chefs are, particularly about using local produce. The dining areas are lovely, with open fires. It was very quiet in the hotel as it was January which we enjoyed, again we were not rushed, we were able to enjoy our dinner at our leisurely pace with some great wines. We also had access to the spa. The spa itself is quite small with a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzis indoor and outdoor. There are loungers around the pool. Hotel guest have access to the spa from check in to check out during the open hours which is value for money, we purchased a day spa each, I’m not sure it was worth the expense as we spent little time in there with lunch and treatments so next time will probably just use the guest access. What we can recommend is the treatments in the spa! Outstanding! My husband had a massage and stated it’s one of the best he has ever had! I also enjoyed a massage followed by a facial and I would say, probably the best I’ve ever had! Well worth the money, prices are on par with other spa treatments I’ve had. This one gave us recommendations on having regular treatments and after care without the hard sell element of beauty products, which was refreshing. We have to give high praise to Connie and Chloe for outstanding massages/ treatments and will definitely book with them again! Slippers, towels and robes are provided for guests and more slippers and robes are provided in the bedrooms too! The grounds are a must see. On leaving we spent some time on a walk, exploring the beautiful garden area and lake. It’s an absolute haven for wildlife and you must look up and down! We were privileged to see red kites swooping above us! This is a wonderful hotel and one I would highly recommend for all round experience. We will definitely be returning in the summer to have another stay, sample the summer menu, explore the grounds and of course visit the spa again!

Myself and my husband got married at Rushton back in 2017 so every so often we like to pop back for afternoon tea or to treat ourselves to an overnight stay this time it was for afternoon tea and once again it was fantastic We got a warm welcome on arrival at main reception from a lady called Joanna and chatted to her for a bit, then walked down to the Great hall for our booking We got another warm welcome from a lovely lady who showed us to our table She looked after us throughout our booking and was lovely! sadly we cant recall her name but we think she had a sommelier badge on. The afternoon tea was nicely presented. Sandwiches on one plate and the scones and patisserie on the little stand. We ordered hot drinks and then tucked into our afternoon tea when it arrived the sandwiches were tasty with fluffy bread. The scones were nice although i found the plain ones a bit salty so only had half of one the patisserie choices were incredible. we ended up taking some of them home So overall, another wonderful Rushton experience and we look forward to returning again.

Stayed for a getaway relaxing weekend break. Hotel and grounds are old and beautiful, luxury rooms well worth the extra. Our room was very comfortable with good amenities. The staff here are excellent, warm and friendly impeccable service. The spa was a lovely experience and well kept. The brasserie serves really lovely food but the Tresham restaurant with the tasting menu is exquisite with a young but very talented sommelier, Rosie. We wish her luck with her WSET exams. Excellent wine selection. My only improvement to this lovely hotel is to serve speciality coffee to match the standards of the rest of the hotel. We will definitely want to return.

We stayed overnight for a spa experience, dinner and breakfast. Service overall: 2/5 Food overall: 3/5 Spa facilities: 4/5 Room: 3/5 Value: 2/5 Service: The lady at the spa desk was listening to a voice note on her phone when we approached. We waited for her to finish then she shoved some towels at us. The reception staff were friendly, but told us to go to breakfast early due to them predicting it being busy. The man who showed us to our room was excellent. The staff at dinner were attentive but service was a little slow, I'd have put more staff on for a busy Saturday night. At breakfast, nobody sat us so we sat ourselves. A woman came over and made comments about how we were sat in an overflow space. Nobody showed us where to get our food or what was on offer so we were left to figure it out ourselves. The food at breakfast was amazing quality, though and we left full. Food: The dinner menu was small and unexciting and my fish on the fish and chips was dripping in grease. The tartare sauce was great, and so were the peas. We decided against dessert as we were already quite disappointed. Spa: The pool was a perfect temperature and very clean, alongside the sauna and steam room. The garden at the spa is stunning with loungers outside. Room: Our bed was very small and the bathroom was a poor layout with the door in the way of the sink. The windows and sills were quite dirty, along with the comforter. The Penhaligon's toiletries were a lovely touch, though and the view was beautiful over the spa garden.

My sister and I had the most fantastic spa day at Rushton Hall. The spa is so relaxing unpretentious and lovely. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch and were so well cared for by the spa restaurant manager she was fantastic. We both had massages, facials, sauna, steam room and a completely indulgent day lounging. I feel so exhausted after so much chilling I need to sleep now. Will definitely return and soon

This was a very disappointing stay. The check in experience was awful. The rooms really do need some TLC. Even some rubbish left on the floor next to the bathroom bin. The carpets desperately need cleaning. Awful pillows as well which contributed to an awful nights sleep.

We visited the spa today and wanted to add a review to say what a real credit Margaret in restaurant/stable cafe was. It was refreshing to have such a friendly face who genuinely couldn’t do enough to make our visit perfect. 10/10 for customer service and well done Margaret & thank you.

Visited for the first time and my Queen Suite Room had a fabulous Four Poster Bed and the Room in entirety was excellently presented. The check in process was seamless and I visited the well stocked bar prior to dinner. I was attended by Tom in the bar and by Katie and Julienne in the Brasserie. All three members of the Team were so efficient and attentive. My entire experience was excellent and I will definable be visiting this venue again. If your staying in the area this place is a must visit Guys!
