CengleiClean and hygienic, the room even smelled good. They also let me check in early, and there was a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. Overall, a very satisfying stay, and the location is great too!

Posted on Apr 17, 2026|Bed In 6-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room With Shared Bathroom
JinjindezhuazhuniThis is a six-person dormitory room with bunk beds. The toilets and showers are shared and located outside the room. It's best to bring your own slippers, towels, and toothbrush. There's a large common area on the second floor with bowls, chopsticks, and a microwave. Breakfast is available for an extra charge. It's advisable to bring your own padlock for the individual lockers provided, and keep valuables with you at all times.
The location is absolutely fantastic and super convenient. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Sol metro station, Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace.

Extremely noisy, the soundproofing is terrible. If you're not a very heavy sleeper, be warned. I'm usually someone who wouldn't wake up even during a thunderstorm, but I stayed here for two nights and woke up once or twice each night. There were always people talking loudly in the hallway, and because the soundproofing was so bad, it felt like they were talking right next to my ear even with earplugs on.

CHOW LONG HANGThe location is convenient.
The staff are friendly
I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice.
However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet.
I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement.
If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice.

Guest UserA surprisingly nice experience. I stayed in a mixed room for 8. Everyone was quiet and neat. The bathroom and toilet is very clean. The staff Arecia was very friendly. I’d stay again.

This was a converted apartment, with private bedrooms and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. The place was impressively clean throughout our stay, with cleaners coming through each morning. You are also provided a key to lock the bedroom door so we didn't have any concerns about security. Wifi also worked fine and there was mobile reception (this must've been fixed from older reviews).
Having access to a kitchen made it easy to have breakfast in and you are allocated a shelf in the communal fridge. The other guests were very respectful, which helped create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. That said, it’s worth noting this is not a party-style stay — it works best if everyone is mindful that it’s a shared environment as noise does travel through the hallway.
The bedroom itself was large and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space.
Location-wise, it’s slightly outside the very centre — not right in the middle of the action — but still very accessible. We were about a 20-minute walk to Plaza Mayor and ended up walking most places, and there’s also a metro station less than 5 minutes away if needed.
Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-connected place to stay in Madrid, especially if you don’t mind being just outside the busiest areas.

Anonymous UserThe accommodation was clean. They don’t have a lift, but it’s alright to walk a few stairs. Shared bathroom and toilet. Water for showering was hot enough. There is a fan in the room. The location was close to a 24 hour supermarket. The downside is that there was not water boiler for people who need hot water:( but overall it’s good

Andrya PerezThe room was impecable. Though I would like to have a little rack on the shower to place my shampoo and conditioner bottles. The bed was comfortable but I wish they had individual pillows instead of just one long noodle-like pillow. The window blinds were extremely hard to scroll up. Regarding the automatic check-in, I had to call the hostel number for them to give me the reservation number which I did not know. It took me a while to complete the check-in. They should also let the visitors know that they have to walk upstairs so light luggage is recommended here.

The place looked clean at first glance, but the shower curtain had severe mold. Two out of four toilets were out of order due to a broken stall. The beds swayed a lot even with the slightest movement, and even when still, they felt wobbly and unstable. It was quite scary, I was worried they might collapse. Considering it's not a budget hotel, I think more maintenance is needed. The location, however, was convenient. Personally, I found it very annoying when some rude guests were loudly talking on the phone late at night and their phone kept beeping with incoming messages.
