3-Star Hotels in Beihai

This was a spontaneous solo trip. I specifically chose a quiet place with beautiful architecture; their building was particularly lovely, with a quiet little courtyard and a swimming pool that really appealed to me. If you love taking photos or have a family with children, this place is perfect. The rooms are spacious and very clean, easily accommodating a whole family. There's a clothes drying area, slippers, and an elevator. They even provide small bottles of shower gel—something most hotels offer. The service was quite good; they even gave me a fridge magnet when I left, so I didn't have to buy one. It's also very close to Silver Beach and Qiaogang for delicious food—a really convenient place.

Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

My recent stay at HaiXuan was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by warm and welcoming staff who made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect, with easy access to beach.Everthing was very clean and brand new, What truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, always with a smile and a willingness to help. They even transfered us train station for free. If one day i return Beihai i will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend HaiXuan to anyone looking for a top-tier hospitality experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Before the start of the trip to Silver Beach, I did a lot of strategies, but it was inevitable that I fell into a trap. On the first night of staying in Silver Beach, I stayed at another homestay. The restaurant I recommended to a family of four spent 1,300 yuan on seafood meals. Fortunately, I + my wish before. The fan group of Brother Zhou of the homestay, as an envoy of justice in Beihai, in order to maintain the tourist environment of Silver Beach, Brother Zhou communicated with the merchants until after 12 o’clock in the evening, and received a refund of 200 yuan for the meal in the early morning. The mood at that time was beyond words , I immediately decided to choose Wuyuan B&B to continue my stay. It was raining heavily the next day, and Brother Zhou came to pick us up. I was amazed at once. The free upgrade to the superior double room is great, very warm, and even the quilt is full of sunshine Taste, I also took us to the seafood market and had two super delicious seafood meals. The two meals added up to less than the price of the first night. Come to Beihai Silver Beach and live in Wuyuan B&B. Brother Zhou will take you to fly ! The boss was very considerate and turned on the air conditioner for us in advance. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, he came to help us with our suitcases. He was very enthusiastic. The TV in the room won't turn on, come and help immediately. Very satisfied. It was just that the weather was cool this time, so it was a pity that I couldn't swim. The swimming pool in the B&B is also great. It is very close to Silver Beach. We go to the beach to play every day after waking up. The children are very happy.

I stayed here last year too. It was very convenient with my child. The view from the higher floors was great, there was a small park next door, a large supermarket across the street, and various snack and convenience stores. It was very close to the train station and the old street and ancient building complex. The service was excellent; anything I needed was promptly delivered to my room. The receptionist, Xiao Li, was attentive and welcoming.

The rooms are nice, clean and tidy, and the most good for the homestay. The location is also very good. In the most lively Nanwan Street on Weizhou Island, there are many restaurants, bars, and stalls at night. The seafood market on the island is also very close. We booked three rooms and the boss could pick us up to the pier. Because we were too many people, we also packed the boss's sightseeing car and sent us to various attractions. It was a very pleasant day trip. We also bought seafood at the seafood market and brought it back to the hotel to ask the proprietress to cook. I have to say that the proprietress’s craftsmanship is very good. She likes to eat spicy food. She can also let the proprietress cook spicy food. Our family is full of praise. And the processing fee is also very affordable. They are all charged according to the portion. In short, this trip to Weizhou Island is very satisfactory.

The second time I came, I originally booked a twin room, the boss upgraded the two-room suite for free, the view is excellent, you can directly see the beach, very close to the mangrove forest, convenient to catch the sea. The children are very happy to play

It was a very satisfying trip. Because it was the off-season, there were not many people on Weizhou Island. We could quietly feel the sea breeze caressing the island, the waves washing the beach, and the sound of boats in the distance slowed down time. The owners of the B&B were also very enthusiastic. Not only did they upgrade our room at a low price, but they also provided us with sea-catching props for free. The young lady and grandmother were also very enthusiastic and often came to help. They also gave us homemade refrigerator magnets. The food made by the chef was also very delicious. I enjoyed the food accompanied by the sunset, and there was a big rhubarb guarding my mouth next to me. I really hope to stay in that moment forever.

The room is very new, the air conditioning is very powerful, everyone from the front desk to the room aunt to the breakfast aunt are very warm and polite, they greet each other actively when they meet, which is great. The hotel is in a good location, the old street is across the alley in front of the hotel, and the sea is behind the hotel. It has its own parking lot, which is very convenient for driving in and out. It is still a little far from Silver Beach, but Didi is very convenient to go back and forth, and orders are also accepted in seconds during the May Day holiday.
