GGuest UserThis hotel is super convenient, located right on the second floor of Terminal 2. In the king room, you can barely hear any announcements from the terminal. The front desk service was very thoughtful, even providing complimentary fruit upon check-in. Any follow-up requests, like for invoicing, were handled quickly and efficiently. Thumbs up!

The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, room service was prompt, and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, incredible value for money, and an outstanding stay. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI was quite happy with the room, and the price was good too. Plus, they offered airport pickup service, which was great! The only thing I wasn't too pleased about was the limescale on the showerhead in the bathroom. I hope the cleaning staff can pay more attention to that area.

The room was clean, cozy and nicely designed, making the stay very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay too. Great choice if you’re visiting Kunming, would definitely stay again 😊

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and I love its design aesthetic. The room was well-equipped. The front desk lady even gave us a pair of breakfast vouchers. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious. The hotel has a laundry room, but it closes at 8 PM to avoid disturbing other guests. They also offer luggage storage.
There's only one minor issue, which could affect the hotel's image, that I think should be improved. As soon as we entered the restaurant, an older male waiter greeted us and asked for our breakfast vouchers. There were three other groups dining. We got our food and quietly ate breakfast, just like the other guests, but the kitchen was as noisy as a bustling market, which significantly impacted the dining experience. A little later, a mother and daughter-like pair came in to dine. Perhaps they took a bit too much food, because the male waiter, from a distance, raised his voice slightly and said, ”We don't allow takeaways here!” He repeated it twice. I felt that these two ladies were somewhat humiliated, especially since he hadn't actually seen them put food into their bags.

AAnonymous UserI stayed in Kunming for three nights and tried three different hotels. The first two, also near Tangzixiang and Dongfeng Square (basically close to a metro station convenient for the airport), either had terrible soundproofing or tiny rooms. All three were pretty much the same price, but this one actually deserves a good review. First off, the location is fantastic. Right across the street is Dongfeng Alley, full of great food. Next to the Yishengxiang Braised Noodles is a fruit stand where all the locals shop. They restock around 9 AM, so before my flight, I grabbed a basket of large blueberries for 52 RMB. When I got home and emptied them out, only two were bad; the rest were plump and fragrant. I wish I'd bought more! This hotel does have a couple of issues: first, the bed is too hard, the pillows aren't great, and the linens are subpar. Second, the elevator is small and slow. Luckily, I was on the third floor with minimal luggage, so I just took the stairs. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was super sweet and provided excellent service!

OOupianshihaotudouThis hotel, right in the heart of Kunming, actually has a beautiful courtyard! It's designed in a traditional Chinese style with a meticulously maintained garden. The location is superb too – after exploring the bustling Nanping Pedestrian Street and Jinma Biji Archway, returning here immediately brings a sense of calm. The flowers and plants in the courtyard are so lovely to look at and smell wonderful. Every single staff member, from the front desk to other service personnel, is incredibly attentive. From the moment I checked in to when I left, every detail made me feel comfortable. The hotel staff genuinely listen to guests' needs, which is very heartwarming! The room facilities are new and very clean. I also have to praise the breakfast; it's delicious and not just some perfunctory buffet. You can enjoy local specialties, and the aunties serving will cheerfully ask if you'd like another bowl of rice noodles.

GGuest UserEverything else was great, and they really do offer 24/7 airport pick-up/drop-off. The environment is also lovely, with a detached American-style house feel. The only downside is the significant amount of various noises. Specifically, the air conditioning in my bedroom made a loud noise whenever it was on, and it got very cold at night if it was off. Although there was an AC unit in the living room, I used it, but it didn't seem to do much. Additionally, the traffic noise from the road at night was quite loud, possibly because my room was close to the street. When you stay, you might want to ask the front desk for a room not too close to the road. Also, regarding the curtains, remember to close all the windows, otherwise, the sound of the wind blowing them around can be very noisy. However, even after closing all the windows, I still heard this kind of noise, which seemed to be coming from other rooms... So, that's about it. I hope this helps everyone!

HHaohuayoulunThe first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak in春节 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
