Guest UserThe room is very clean, bright and spacious. The facilities are very new, with electric curtains, automatic toilet, and very comfortable pillows, one soft and one hard. The hair conditioner received positive reviews from my sister-in-law, hahaha. There is a clothesline in the shower room, which is convenient. Convenient transportation, very close to the subway station. The service was very good. When checking in, we were given warm chrysanthemum water and hot towels to wipe off the dust from the journey. The breakfast is also good, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western restaurants. I am very satisfied with my stay, and my family members give it high praise. Recommended stay.

The bedding was soft and odorless, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept straight through till morning. Check-in at the front desk was quick, the staff were friendly, and they responded promptly to any requests. The location is convenient for getting around, and for the price, it offers incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose it again for my next trip.

DandanfengchuiThe room was spacious and new. My flight was delayed, so I arrived at Changshui Airport in the early hours. I contacted the front desk, and they instructed me to collect my luggage, then go to Exit 5 on B2, turn left, walk about 50 meters to the No. 7 police booth, and call them again. Around 10 minutes later, a car came to pick us up. The driver first dropped us off at the T1 branch on the way, then took two other guests to another Park Inn hotel. We quickly checked in and booked a shuttle for 7:25 AM. The staff kindly arranged for us to stay on the first floor, which meant less walking. By the time I got into the room, it was already 2 AM, so I quickly went to sleep. The bedding was very comfortable. I woke up at 6:30 AM and had a refreshing shower. At 7:15 AM, I checked out and went for a walk outside. It's close to the airport but not noisy. Among all the airport hotels I've stayed in, this one was the quietest. Great value for money and excellent service; I'll definitely stay here again.

Guest UserThis guesthouse is located right in Kunming's Old Street, with a snack street just outside, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. It's less than a 100-meter walk from where a taxi can drop you off. The room facilities are complete, and it's clean and spacious. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming, which made us feel incredibly comfortable. We stayed here for almost a week straight, and it offers great value for money. Nearby, there's also the famous Duyue Tower (the 'Paper-thin Building'), which attracts many visitors daily. I recommend going early in the morning for some fantastic photos and to avoid the crowds. At night, you can enjoy the old street's night view. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming!

Guest UserThis Republic of China-style hotel offered a fantastic overall experience. The vintage decor created a wonderful atmosphere. The room was tidy and clean, and the bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. All the hotel's amenities were well-equipped. Everything was great, with the only minor drawback being that the dryer in the public laundry room wasn't working very well. I hope the hotel can have it checked and repaired. The attached photos are from my trip to Kunming.

MikeLimMyMengjing Rainbow Hotel (Kunming Station, Huancheng South Road Metro Station) is a stellar choice for both transit travelers and those looking to explore the City of Eternal Spring. Here is my professional take on why this property stands out:
📍 Location & Connectivity: A Commuter's Dream
As any seasoned traveler knows, location is everything. This hotel nails it. It is exceptionally close to the **Huancheng South Road Metro Station**, making navigating Kunming’s transit system incredibly effortless. Whether you are catching a high-speed train from **Kunming Railway Station** or heading out to explore local attractions, the seamless connectivity saves both time and transit hassle.
🛏️ Accommodations: Impressive Space to Unwind
One of the most pleasant surprises here is the room size. In a bustling city center, hotel rooms can often feel cramped, but the accommodations here are **remarkably spacious and well-laid-out**. There is plenty of room to unpack, relax, and lounge comfortably after a long day of walking. The smart use of space and clean design creates a welcoming, airy ambiance that immediately makes you feel at home.
👥 Service: Genuine Hospitality
The hallmark of a great hotel is its people, and the staff here truly shine. From check-in to check-out, the team is **incredibly polite, attentive, and eager to help**. Their courteous demeanor and professional attitude add a warm, personal touch to the stay, proving that hospitality here isn't just a protocol—it’s a priority.
**The Verdict:** With its unbeatable metro access, generously sized rooms, and top-tier service, Mengjing Rainbow Hotel offers fantastic value and comfort. It easily earns a spot on my recommended list for anyone visiting Kunming.

Haohuayoulun
The first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak in春节 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
