LlucylvweiThe room was clean, odor-free, the bathroom had good drainage, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk receptionist was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room. The location is not far from the subway station, and travel is very convenient.

GGuest UserI chose to stay at the Hanting Hotel at Kunming Airport this time because I had an early morning flight. The location is absolutely fantastic, right inside the terminal building. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the security checkpoint, so there's no need to rush in the wind or sun – it's definitely my top choice for an overnight layover. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent. The mattress was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were very efficient with check-in and check-out, and the service was attentive; you can even book a wake-up call. The hot water in the bathroom was stable, and the smart amenities were comprehensive. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I transfer through Kunming. Highly recommend it to all travelers!

After checking out, I realized I'd left something behind. The hotel immediately verified it and promptly mailed it back to my home, which saved me a lot of hassle. It's such a relief to find a hotel that's so responsible. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The hotel even offers a shuttle service to the airport, getting you there in about ten minutes, which is incredibly convenient for early flights or if you just need a quick rest. You can get plenty of sleep, and the place is clean with full amenities. The only minor downside is that ordering delivery can be a bit slow, but it's not a big deal. Overall, five stars!

GGuest UserI forgot to take photos during my last stay, so the pictures are of the room type from this visit. There are some differences, but you can still get an idea.
**Amenities:** Very complete. It has everything a standard hotel should have. There aren't any toilet seat covers, so you'll need to bring your own. The bath towels are hotel-provided, and all the toiletries are there.
**Cleanliness:** Everything looked quite clean. The bedding felt freshly washed and had a faint scent of disinfectant.
**Environment:** It's a little bit away from the airport and the main road, so it's relatively quiet. With the window open, you can hear some planes taking off, but it's not very noticeable with the window closed, so you can definitely get a good night's sleep.
**Service:** They offer airport shuttle service from 4:30 AM to 2 PM, with a bus every half hour. If you need a ride to the airport in the morning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. They'll even call you half an hour before to wake you up. The front desk staff (both the young men and women) were all super patient.
**Overall:** After looking at so many places, this one was the most satisfying. The price isn't expensive either, and the overall value for money is excellent. That's why I chose this place for both my outbound and return trips. I'll likely choose it again for future visits.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! Stepping out, you're right in the heart of the action with plenty of food options and shopping. The breakfast was good, with a nice Yunnan flavor. It's surrounded by attractions and various snack shops, and getting around by bike, on foot, or by taxi is super convenient. The only thing is, every single place seems to sell rice noodles. It's also surrounded by popular influencer spots and famous snack shops, but the set meals were too big to finish.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located, just 200 meters from the subway station. Although it's an older hotel, it offers great value for money. The rooms have central air conditioning and are kept very clean. Hot water supply is stable with good pressure. Soundproofing is decent; you might hear people talking loudly or kids playing in the hallway, but it's very quiet at night. The front desk staff was lovely – check-in was fast, and they gave practical suggestions for dining and attractions, even sending us routes for reference. They also called to remind us when our late check-out was approaching. There's a convenience store and a Luckin Coffee downstairs, and a noodle shop across the street. The old town is a 10-20 minute walk away. Plenty of shared electric bikes downstairs make getting around super easy; it's only about a 15-minute ride to Cuihu Lake in the morning. Overall, good value for money.

WWoaifeiqulaiDue to a layover, we chose this hotel because of its high rating and proximity to the airport. After landing at 10:30 PM, we contacted the hotel and a car was dispatched very quickly to pick us up. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and we were taken to our individual villas by golf cart. The rooms were well-equipped, clean, and refreshing – exactly what you'd want for a comfortable stay. The airport noise was minimal. In the morning, you can enjoy a run around the beautiful American-style villa complex and have delicious rice noodles at the on-site restaurant. My friends and I were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it to anyone with a layover in Kunming.

HHaohuayoulunThe first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak in春节 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
