The location is good, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. The air-conditioning and soundproofing are also good. However, the breakfast was rather average. The omelette and scrambled eggs were below average, and the food selection was quite limited. There were also many events being held in the hotel’s function hall during my stay, which made the lobby and dining area quite noisy. The hotel is also very strict about its check-out time. Late check-out beyond 12:30 PM was not allowed. It would be better if the hotel could offer an option to extend the check-out time by an additional hour or two, with an hourly payment option, especially for guests with later flights.Overall, considering the price, I would not recommend this hotel.

Overall Experience recently stayed at Hotel Abell Kuching and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers great value for money and sits in an excellent location. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth, pleasant, and highly satisfying. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Kuching.Room Quality & Cleanliness, The room was exceptionally clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The housekeeping team clearly does a fantastic job ensuring everything is spotless before guests arrive. The bedding was fresh, the towels were pristine, and the overall room environment felt very hygienic and comfortable to rest in after a long day of exploring.Staff & Front Desk Service, A huge highlight of our stay was the staff. The front desk team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted us with warm smiles and handled our check-in swiftly. Throughout our stay, they were always ready to assist with directions and local recommendations, making us feel right at home.Dining & Room Service. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious. There was a good variety of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. Additionally, we ordered room service during our stay. The food arrived hot, the delivery was prompt, and the service was executed with a great, polite attitude.Minor Issue Swiftly Resolved. The only minor hiccup we encountered was a slight drain smell in the bathroom upon arrival. However, as soon as we notified the staff, they took immediate action. The maintenance team settled the issue completely and efficiently, showing just how attentive and responsive the hotel management is to guest comfort.

My stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.

Good location, but check-out day service needs improvement Stayed at Hotel Meritin Kuching during the first week of August. Overall, it was a decent stay and the location in Padungan is very convenient. The room was generally clean and acceptable, although I noticed some dust on the floor when I first checked in. Check-in was smooth. Most of the reception service was fine, although one night-shift staff member seemed rather unfriendly and did not smile or greet us when we came in and out at night. Main downside – check-out day: There was an event and roadblock around the hotel on the day we checked out, but the hotel did not inform us in advance. As we were travelling to the airport, the hotel should have informed guests about the road closure so that we could leave earlier and plan our transportation accordingly. Because of the event, our Grab driver could not access the hotel, and we had to walk about 1 km with our luggage to the designated Grab pick-up point. This was very inconvenient and, in my opinion, not good hotel service. The hotel should proactively inform guests about events and roadblocks that may affect access to the hotel, especially for guests checking out and heading to the airport. On the positive side, the hotel has a great location for food. Top Spot Food Court is within walking distance for seafood, and you can also try ABC and Ling Loong. Overall, a decent hotel with a good location, but communication and service regarding road closures should definitely be improved.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Legacy Hill Hotel is a beautifully renovated hotel located in the heart of Kuching. The hotel has a unique design, and although the lobby is simple, it feels modern, elegant, and very relaxing. One thing that really stood out was the excellent service. The two ladies at the front desk were always friendly and polite. Every time we walked past the reception, they would greet us with a warm smile, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Our room didn’t have a hairdryer, so we requested one and it was provided promptly. We also found the pillows a little too soft, and when we asked for two extra pillows, the staff happily accommodated our request. The next day, housekeeping cleaned our room and replaced the bed linens and towels. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was cold, the water pressure was excellent, and although the room wasn’t very large, it was more than sufficient for us. Considering the price, I was very satisfied with the overall value. Another plus is that there are plenty of parking spaces beside the hotel, making it very convenient for guests who drive. There are also many great local eateries and cafés within walking distance. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose Legacy Hill Hotel again the next time I visit Kuching.

I recently stayed at Kozi Square and had a very pleasant experience overall. The property is located in a convenient area – close to a hospital, which is reassuring for emergencies, and there are shops, a laundry service, and several eateries right on the ground floor. You really don’t need to go far for daily necessities. The apartment itself is on an upper floor (the building has a secure lift). While the room is not huge, it was perfectly sized for two people – the double bed was comfortable, and the layout made good use of the space. Everything was neatly arranged and spotlessly clean. The real bonus was the private balcony, where we could enjoy some fresh air and a quiet moment. Facilities inside the room were impressive: a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board – basically everything you’d need for a short or even medium-length stay. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, which was great for planning our daily outings. One of the highlights is the 6th-floor shared amenities – a swimming pool and a gym, both free for guests to use. We took advantage of the pool in the evenings; it was clean and had a nice view. The gym was modest but had enough equipment for a good workout. The only point to note is that parking is not included – you’ll need to pay separately if you bring a car. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to budget for. All in all, Kozi Square offers excellent value for money: modern facilities, a convenient location, and thoughtful in-room amenities. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to couples or solo travellers looking for a fuss-free, comfortable base.

You can use this version: We had a pleasant stay at Roxy Hotel 3rd Mile Apartment. The 3-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our group of 6 people. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Timberland Medical Centre, making it easy for us to go for our hospital check-ups. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely choose this apartment again.

The hotel was really convenient from the airport, which was great for our business trip. Getting around was a breeze, and there were plenty of food options just a short walk away. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

Excellent location which you can easily find delicious food at every corner within walking distance. Hotel breakfast is rather basic, but why need 1 when u can enjoy the local food nearby. A nice walk to waterfront, though it is not exactly very near. Overall, very satisfied with the stay.

The room was okay, but the service was a bit lacking because they didn’t clearly mention which Jazz Suite it was. That info is important, especially for first-time guests. Overall, the hotel was good just hope they can provide clearer details next time about which suite to go to.
