GGuest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰. I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

The courtyard is charmingly antique, blending the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the cultural heritage of ancient Huizhou. Every corner is meticulously designed and maintained. The guesthouse boasts a prime location, just a short walk from the south gate, making it incredibly convenient. Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests. This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended! By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

When delivering, he also gave you a souvenir handmade in the store. The children and elders all enjoyed their stay. We could see the starry sky in our room at night. The children were very surprised and kept asking if they could continue to stay here tomorrow? ! The room is consistent with the picture of the reservation. The special mountain spring water and welcome dinner in the store are very considerate. The breakfast is also 10 kinds of which are very balanced and rich. The welcome dog Wangzai is very cute. He greets and sees off guests, and the overall impression is wonderful. Very good impression. I will stay here again next time I come to Hongcun.

GGuest UserThe Japanese-style tatami room type is very distinctive, with two 1.5m single beds, spacious and comfortable, you don't have to worry about falling out of the bed when you turn over, and you sleep very peacefully. The fully intelligent toilet is fully functional and the use is as convenient and intimate as at home. The comfort is completely more than chain hotels such as Atour and all seasons. In addition, the laundry room is bright and tidy, the equipment is very new, and the laundry is super worry-free. There is also a top floor terrace with a great view, the scenery is not lost to the scenic spot, and it is very pleasant to take pictures and be in a daze. The details are intimate and in place, and the hotel that really understands the needs of passengers!

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

AAnonymous UserThis homestay is within Hongcun Village compounds but away from the main tourist spots. This meant our stay was quiet for restful night, while we could still get to enjoy the spots in peace before day trip tourists flock in.:) Host provided free buggy shuttle from the main South gate to his homestay. As it was off peak season, we had free room upgrade & I got a large triple sharing room with spacious bathroom. Love that the floor is heated so we could stay warm throughout. The only grouse is I find the room lighting a bit too dim, but maybe they just wanted to evoke romantic ambience. 😁 Overall, it was a great stay in this ancient village.

Location: Xishu is close to the entrance of the scenic spot, but it is quiet in the mind. It is very quiet to sleep at night without noise! Environment: Hui-style architecture, a lot of lush vegetation, a very unique courtyard, and a good environment! Facilities: The room facilities are quite complete, there is an electronic toilet, a bathtub, and a disposable bathtub bag. It is very clean and tidy. The bed is moderately soft and comfortable, and there is a free costume experience! Service: The boss is very enthusiastic. It happened to rain when we arrived at the parking lot outside the scenic spot on the day of check-in. The boss came to pick us up in the rain and sent special snacks to the hotel. It was delicious! He also took the initiative to help us upgrade to a large room, which was very considerate. It was a very pleasant and comfortable accommodation experience!

GGuest UserIt’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in such a high-quality B&B. First of all, the location is great on the mountain, with fresh air and pleasant scenery. Secondly, the service was attentive. The guys and girls at the B&B were very enthusiastic and made us feel at home. They also gave us homemade snacks and honeycomb honey. Finally, there is the catering at the B&B. The food tastes good and is a local speciality. I was attracted by Xiaohongshu, and it’s really good to experience it myself!
