Smile Residence Hotels in Tokyo

It's above my expectations, checking in was easy and the room is really clean and equipped with everything I need, such as air purifier, disinfectant, 2 types of slippers etc. 

I have stayed at a few hotels under this chain before, they offer good value for money and good locations. In this case it is fairly close to narita airport express and also the yamamote line, which means you don't have to change lines as much when getting around the city. The room is basic but I found the bed comfortable. The nearby area has some restaurants although I did not try them. Overall for smile, I think they do provide decent options for travelers who are looking to save some money and plan to mostly spend time outside of the hotel without compromising basic quality.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a genuinely pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive. The room was clean, well-appointed, and surprisingly quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day. The amenities were top-notch and exceeded my expectations. Location-wise, it was conveniently situated near shops and restaurants, yet still felt peaceful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the property and fast Wi-Fi. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, service, and value.

There is a subway station and convenience store next to it. I like to walk to Tokyo Station to take the bus to Narita Airport. The bus from Tokyo Station costs 1,500 yen. You can use Suica card to get on the bus. There is a toilet on the bus. Smile Hotel Nihonbashi is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Station. It takes about 1,300 yen to take a taxi. It is easy to get a taxi from Tokyo Station. I didn't notice the taxi from the hotel to Tokyo Station. There is a subway entrance next to it. The hotel facilities are facilities from a few years ago. It uses a key 🔑. I didn't take pictures of the interior, only the Tokyo Station bus. You can buy breakfast for about 1,200 yen. The check-out time is 1 hour later than other hotels, 11 o'clock Japan time

Good hotel but a big problem is they lack a heater so its really cold during the winters of Japan. There's also cigarette smoke smell throughout the room so I recommend to air the room while you're out sightseeing/shopping during the day. Amenities are old but still all there. 👍🏼 Service was also great and hotel is located just a few mins away from the train station. Gonna put some pics of places I visited in Tokyo.

The Front Desk service was excellent. Even before check-in the e-mail communication was good. Room was clean, bed was comfy. There is construction going on nearby during my 2 night stay but I was not bothered by any noise. This hotel is located near Sengakuji metro and Keikyu line station, so it is convenient to travel to/from Haneda airport. Take exit A2 if you need lift access (from street level to ticket gate level; there is only stairs from ticket gate level to platform).

The room size was good for solo traveler. All the amenities were available. The room was clean and tidy only once i checked in but room clean service wasn't available on Sat, Sun and Monday and unfortunately my trip was also for 3 nights same days. Hotel asked for 100JPY extra tokyo taxes charges.

I could tell that the building was old, but it was clean. However, there was a lot of stubborn mold in the shower room. While I suppose that can't be helped, it was disappointing. However, the service and customer service were good, so I would stay again if I have the opportunity.
