The hotel is very small, boutique, not busy and equipped with every luxury. The staff is ready to help you day and night.
The service is good but the staff is so helpful and submissive that it almost feels uncomfortable.
Breakfast is a la carte. You get two choices each time, very varied and with healthy options.
Both the beach and swimming pool are very accessible. If you wish, the hotel also has additional facilities such as snorkeling with a guide (included). However, the hotel had a lot of problems with algae on the beach when we were there (in July). There is little they can do about it. It is cleaned regularly, but the accumulated algae is kept right next to the beach and then removed.
The location is tricky. On the one hand, very remote and on a quiet beach with sufficient facilities. On the other hand, if you are looking for more variety and do not necessarily want to use the surrounding restaurants of "luxury" hotels, you also have to make some effort. Tulum center is fifteen minutes by car, which is not a problem, but the access road to the hotel ***** is extremely bumpy and full of deep holes. You have to make some effort to get out of there. The airport is also a 1.5 hour drive away, with a lot of beach traffic even in the early morning (7 am).
If you want to use the restaurant, the price-quality ratio is debatable. We thought it was seriously overpriced because you paid 20 euros for very simple cocktails in plastic cups or hamburgers. If you don't mind that, you can have all kinds of food brought to your room.
And finally, the whole setting looks more luxurious than it is. For the price-quality ratio, it should be mentioned that small details such as the TV that does not function properly or a slow internet connection do become important.
