Train station, convenience store, shopping mall in walking distance. Located in the middle of Tokyo and Mt Fuji. Stay here if you are looking for peace, stay out of the city crowd (especially Tokyo, Shinjuku area), but you have to sacrifice some travelling time. We had a chill and relax trip, and really had fun throughout our 8nights stay here. Hotel's receptionist can communicate well in English, but not to nearby shops/stores. No worries much cause simple English or google translate works well too in Japan. Hotel does provide self service laundry at 3rd floor (few hundred yens only to both wash & dry)

In order to escape the noise of Tokyo, I went to a place in the suburbs to be quiet. I found a place on Google Maps and found that there was a hotel that could be booked. The service of the hotel staff is very good, and the scorpion does not speak English. There were very few people when I lived that day, and it felt like the whole hotel had our group. The last order of the restaurant was ended at 7:30 in the evening, and it closed at 8:30. If you want to go out, you have to find the old lady of the hotel to help open the door. Great location, great hotel, and wonderful service! Family of four, we booked a double and it was a nice room with two double beds. Although a bit small, it was fine for us and we were happy to have a microwave, etc that made it feel homey. The hotel was quiet, the a/c good, and the water pressure strong. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from the Hachioji Eki and all the various conveniences there. Staff was very nice, check-in was smooth and quick, and check-out was as simple as dropping off our card key. We mistakenly left a pair of pajamas in the room and the wonderful staff was able to locate it and send it to us, already in another prefecture, the next day. Thank you so much!! This kindness will not be forgotten and we would love to return to this hotel the next time we visit the area.

This is a very basic hotel with basic facilities , but I gave it 5 stars for the following reason. - clean room - wifi is fast and reliable - low price - morning coffee is great!! The coffee machines are DeLonghi. Other notes Great hot spring complex 1 minute walk away. Nakayan Izakaya has amazing food!! 7/11 and supermarket very near Tsuru people are kind and helpful.
