Skyflats Vienna - Rooftop Apartments

This hotel was the best apartment we felt during our trip, and the viewing effect was very good. You can cook by yourself! If there is a chance to go to Austria, I must still live here. Anyway, I like it very much! !

I stayed here as part of a Gate 1 tour. Worst hotel on the trip. Location is horrible!!!! There are no restaurants nearby - the front desk sent us to two about a 6 block walk away and both required reservations and were full. The other one they recommended is a walk up with no seating. We finally ate at a bar across the street filled with Eastern European men - thought we were in the Godfather movie! Neighborhood is unsafe. Staff and management was unhelpful and rude. Breakfast was the ony decent thing.
Austria Trend Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg Wien

My partner and I spent 4 nights here and still can't stop talking about how amazing our stay was. The rooms are comfortable, the location is excellent, the restaurant is amazing, and the feeling of coming home to a palace every night can't be beat. Access to the rest of the city was easy, with a bus stop right outside, but did take some getting used to (the concierge staff were a big help!). Once you get used to the schedule and have a ticket though, it's a relatively short trip right into the heart of Vienna. The restaurant was also a big plus, with excellent food, wine, and service with a spectacular view of the Vienna skyline. The only downside was we did see a bug or two in our rooms during our stay (smaller insects, nothing that bit or stung). They didn't bother us much, as we were on the ground floor with a giant window so it wasn't a question of how clean the room was. Again, with such a large window in an older building, seeing a spider or two didn't come close to impacting our stay.

The hotel location is good with a tram station right at the door which ease the access to city attractions. However AC wasn’t working instead they gave us a fan. pillow sheets had stains and were not replaced instead it was removed from the locker. Room had bugs. But worst of all, something was missing from our room and their handling was so unprofessional and they claimed we might be lying and weirdly the next day they brought it back without even apologizing or explaining what happened (they don’t have cameras on each floor for security). By all means it’s an experience that we won’t like to repeat
Hotel Geblergasse

The hotel is a proper ”best buy”. The room and all the decor are basic, but very spacious for this type of hotel, and with a proper wardrobe you can actually store all your clothes in. Everything is clean and comfortable. Room's are cleaned every day, towels changed, too, if you wish it. Staff is accomodating and unobtrusive. The only small minus in my wiev- the one time I don't bring my hair dryer is the one time hotel doesn't have one! :) There is an underground garage in a building across the street, which is a huge plus in a city like this. You pay extra for using it, though, but it's wort it in my view. The street is quiet, with not much traffic. The nearest U-bahn station (their Metro) is very near and the public transport is excellent. Beware, the face masks are still obligatory in all public transport. The fine for not wearing one is 50 euros. (November 2022.) Nothing is cheap in Vienna, and you shouldn't expect it to be, but this hotel offers good value for money.
