"The first unexpected surprise in Wenchuan.
When I was short of money to book a room, I booked a standard room and insisted that I booked a double bed room. Sister Zhang, who was helping me check in at the front desk, saw my embarrassment and didn't criticize me for my damn quibble. We were upgraded to a suite. The room is comparable to a resort hotel~it has ethnic characteristics and is clean and tidy.
Knowing that we were coming from out of town, he enthusiastically introduced that now is a good time to see the red leaves and the ski resort that was to be opened in Wenchuan. I also put small gifts in the original room. In short, the main focus is thoughtfulness and enthusiasm.
Parking is free at the hotel, remember to get a parking card after checking out. In addition, the barbecue restaurant downstairs of the hotel is also very delicious.
I sincerely wish everything is well in Wenchuan."

"There is a lovely B&B halfway up the mountain in Yanmen Village. The hostess is a former high school mathematics teacher. She is very friendly, talkative, and pays attention to service details. It can be seen from the design of the entire B&B, the production and selection of furniture and bedding that she has put great care into it. Because, outside the balcony of the room we stayed in was a loquat tree within reach. There were walnut trees, osmanthus trees in the yard, and there were apple trees, persimmon trees and plum trees around. It was really pleasant to sit in the yard and watch the clouds and listen to the rain. My husband and I stayed with the dog for two nights and ate three meals of local delicacies carefully prepared by the hostess. We were reluctant to leave. It is said that the snowy scenery here in winter is also worth seeing. I think we will come again."

"I stayed in this small hotel when I was passing through Wenchuan. It was on the commercial street next to the river. It was very convenient for eating and walking around. It was equipped like a small business hotel. The bedding in the room was clean. I didn’t know whether it was the Minjiang River or some other river outside the window. The scenery was very good. . There are also books on the table for all ages to read, which is very good and something I have not encountered in other hotels. The restroom facilities are average, and parking is available in the small parking lot downstairs. Parking spaces are a bit tight in the afternoon. Breakfast was gone when I got there at nine o'clock. It was probably just simple porridge or something like that. I went to the shop downstairs and had beef noodles which were also delicious. It is very convenient to eat downstairs in the hotel, with various local specialty restaurants. Generally speaking, this small hotel has a good location, low price, and good value for money."

11380588****I chose Zuiyu Mountain House specifically to see Fubao. It's quite nice, one of the closest B&Bs to the Wolong Panda Park. The entrance is right across from the main gate, about 2 kilometers from Gengda Town.
The room was also clean and decorated with panda-themed elements, which was so charming. The terrace was comfortable, perfect for enjoying fruit and snacks while admiring the diverse flora.
The room was also equipped with underfloor heating, which surprised me with its warmth underfoot. It's perfect for the mountain's humidity. It was especially drizzly, and after a day of panda watching, turning on the underfloor heating helped keep the cold at bay and prevent a cold.
The B&B also has a hot spring pool, which was particularly romantic at night. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with bread, yogurt, and coffee. The service was warm and attentive, and the ladies who served were incredibly helpful.
