"The most satisfying hotel on this trip. This time I came to Guilin with my family. We stayed in Guilin for 3 days in total. Our whole family was very satisfied with this hotel. The hotel is in a good location with beautiful scenery. It is less than 200 meters away from the Li River and not far from the bustling West Street. When we heard that we could pick up fossils hundreds of millions of years ago if we were lucky, my good brother and I immediately became interested. After we were ready, the hotel housekeeper would take us to the hiking point by shuttle bus, and then the geological research began. Along the way, Sister Zhou explained to us the causes and evolution of karst landforms, telling us that this is a bryozoan fossil, that is a stromatoporoid, that is a lichen, and so on! Suddenly, I felt that the abstract nouns in the textbook became vivid. Along the way, in addition to seeing fossils from hundreds of millions of years ago, we also saw beautiful landscapes.
