Although the setting is quite beautiful and calm, and the pictures are accurate, we do not recommend this inn to any foreign tourists. It was extremely difficult communicating with the staff, even with basics in chinese and a translating app. They were not prepared for our stay at all, when we arrived they took 30 minutes to find our reservation and still, they didn’t have the right room. We had paid extra to get the mountain view and they led us to not one, not two, but three rooms that did not fit that description. We had to keep telling them it wasn’t the right room, they seemed baffled each time. By the time we did find the right room, we had to wait for them to tidy it up : meaning once again that they were not ready to welcome us. During this waiting time we also discovered that while trying to be nice, the staff has a hard time with physical boundaries. One of the women sat very close to us eating sunflower seeds quite loudly, and once the room was ready she immediately bursted into the room to forcibly ask us what we wanted to eat from the card while sitting on the bed next to us ?????!! Apart from that, there were frequent power outages when it rained and the food in the morning was good but not very diverse (buns, noodles and soup). Most of all, if you don’t have your own car (which tourists rarely do) it’s very difficult to access and/or leave. The main reason why we booked the hotel was the « remote » aspect, while being 15 minutes away from the gate. But it’s way too empty and it is a much better idea to book something near the east gate in Wulingyuan if you want to visit the national park.

The inn is at the foot of the mountain next to the West Gate of Wulingyuan. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the inn to the West Gate. The air is very good, and you can see the surrounding mountains directly when you go out, which is very artistic. Because many materials in the room are made of wood, and the air in Zhangjiajie is humid, and the hotel may also lack management, the room smells very musty when I first check in. Finally, I lit a lot of incense to basically neutralize it. The inn has only two floors, and you can't see anything outside the window on the first floor. If you want to live upstairs, you have to communicate in advance. If you communicate again when you arrive at the inn, there may be no room. I wanted to live on the second floor, but there was no room~ There are basically no restaurants and markets near the entire West Gate, so the choice of eating is basically to eat in the inn. The food in the inn is very expensive, a serving of tomato scrambled eggs costs 28 yuan, and a serving of mixed cucumbers costs 15 yuan. It is also very troublesome to get a taxi near the West Gate. I went to the nearby Zhonghu Township to have a barbecue, and then came back to take a taxi. I waited for half an hour but couldn't get one. Finally, the inn owner arranged a private car to take me back. The charge was 20 yuan for 2 kilometers~~~~ In general, it is not recommended for tourists who take high-speed trains and flights to stay near the West Gate. It is better to choose the East Gate first. If you want to travel by car and want to experience life at the foot of the mountain, you can consider this place

The location of the B&B is very good and convenient. The room is very comfortable. The owner is very considerate and can book tickets for you. It is a bit more affordable. I will stay here again next time I come to play. 😁

We arrived very late that day, almost 10 o'clock. There were stars to see at night. It was so late, so I didn't take many pictures. The house was really beautiful at night. The boss was also very enthusiastic and took us for a midnight snack. Hahahaha. The midnight snack boss was also really enthusiastic and gave us a soup. The main thing is that the food there is quite cheap. When we left the next day, the boss called a taxi to the West Station. Finally, the boss's child is so cute (he helped me tear open the paper when he gave me bubble gum). Um, and boss, the roses outside your door have aphids. Remember to deworm them. Roses are particularly susceptible to diseases and pests.

This hotel is really nice, quiet and leisurely. In fact, you can stay for a few more days to play while time is not tight. In the evening, you can order barbecue and meet friends for a drink. It's very comfortable to enjoy the breeze. The parent-child room is highly recommended. Although my baby is only one year old, he is so happy. He doesn't feel scared of the unfamiliar environment at all. He is super happy. After booking, we also recommended it to our colleagues, and they also chose to live in the same hotel with us. It's really nice, and the boss is also very nice. My husband even bought some sausages from the store hahahaha. When we left, the handsome boss and his family came out to see us off. It was like visiting a friend's house. It was super nice. I especially wanted to say that my mother remembered that her bracelet was left in the room after we came back for a day, and asked the boss. As soon as you enter the door, you will feel at home, familiar! Rare hanging building style, I like it! The yard smells of sweet-scented osmanthus, and I feel comfortable. Not to mention the service, in place and enthusiastic! Breakfast and Miao duck are delicious. The bedding in the room is comfortable, neat and clean. Close to the scenic spot! A store that is close to nature and loves life! Will come again!

This inn is located at the west gate of Zhangjiajie, which is the Yangjiajie side. It's very close to Ximen. I stayed in a family room for the first night. There was no room for the second night and I had to change to a double bed room. The boss added an extra bed to make it convenient for our family of four.

I caught up with the peak of the Spring Festival and chose Ximen. I avoided the crowds and set off fireworks. If you are also here during the peak of the holiday, I highly recommend you to choose this restaurant. The boss is very nice, and the key is that the dishes are delicious. The wok is full of flavor, the ingredients are solid, and the oil is also very fragrant. I give a thumbs up to the boss's service and dishes.

Not recommended. It's just a farmhouse with no sense of service. It's only enthusiastic when selling tickets. The food is unpalatable and expensive. The room is very small and the bed is uncomfortable. For the same price, Shanyu is more fragrant.
