I went to watch a concert with my friends for a few days and booked this newly opened InterContinental. The experience was average. Let me talk about it first: It is located in the old city, very close to Erqi Square, and downstairs is the Dennis David City, with many big brands and restaurants. The hotel facilities are new, the receptionist is handsome and polite, and the cleaning lady will greet you proactively. Poor experience: When checking in, I asked for an upgraded room type or a room facing the People's Park, but I was told that this was not possible. They also said that the room currently arranged was on a higher floor and could see the Erqi Tower. As a result, when I entered the room, I saw nothing but rooftops and construction sites, and a building facing me. There was no coffee companion in the room. I called the service phone to ask for it and was told, ”We don't deserve it. If you need it, go to the restaurant and see for yourself.” When going to the swimming pool, except for the swimming pool, all other pools and saunas cannot be used, and the gym is still being renovated. The service staff at the breakfast counter were expressionless and did not greet anyone with a smile. There was no chocolate sauce on the waffle counter, and they were informed that ”they have run out and the replenishment has not yet arrived.” I wrote a review on the night I checked in. The hotel's online feedback was quick, but it was all empty talk. There were no substantial improvement measures during the next 3 days of my stay. The overall feeling is that I stayed at a fake Intercontinental.

The revolving restaurant at the roof top serve the guest breakfast is the plus point of this hotel. The breakfast food variety is good and they have provided 4 to 5 type of soup noodle immediately cook for you. Although hotel itself shown a certain of age, the maintenance and cleanliness still managed well. The only drawback of this hotel is the mattress and pillow is not really comfortable since you can feel the metal spring when you sleep.
