Hotel Murcia Rincón de Pepe Affiliated by Meliá

I can't believe a four-star hotel. If you don't speak Spanish, you get lost no one in the hotel is able to speak English both at the reception and at the restaurant. In addition, the room is not very clean. It is almost strange that the Melia chain permit a situation like this. If you want to order something at the room service with the phone be prepared because they don't speak any English word.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we got a good price. The hotel is in a great location, the tram is literally 100m away but you can also walk to the cathedral etc in 15 minutes. The rooms were nice but slightly dated. I didn't find the bed comfortable but I slept fine in it. The bathroom was a bit weird though - the toilet was literally beneath the sink which was a bit awkward. Also, the air con was too cold - yes a strange comment but the highest temperature was 25 degrees but if you turned the AC off the room was too hot. I really enjoyed the breakfast, they had proper cereals (not just the cardboard tasting ones). They also had the usual pastries, bread/toast and they also had hot options such as eggs etc. The room was small for the breakfast but I found it quite relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely return.
Catalonia Conde de Floridablanca

The fact is that they have done a lot of cooperation with us. If it is true that we found some unimportant details at the beginning, due to the inconvenience caused to you, they did not provide them with a bottle of cava, but they themselves provided it. Many details. The room facilities are complete and detailed. It must be said that only the details of the bathroom make us fall in love.
Allegro Murcia Azarbe

My first impression of the hotel was its staff. Very nice and helpful. We booked a room where parking was included and without breakfast, so the rating of the hotel and its area is without the breakfast part. The room was very large and faced the street, blackout curtains which was a big plus. The rooms are not soundproof and you will hear cars playing bassmusic when they stop for the red sign and doors banging in the corridor. There was a fridge in the room and AC at no extra cost. Security box probably cost money, we didn't use it. The area in which the hotel is located is on a car street so not many shops so the nearby area is okey and there is a large Mercadona is very close. It took about 30 minutes to walk to the center. An ok walk during the day but I wouldn't recommend it in the evening. There is a very run down residential area that you pass, that wouldn't feel safe in the evening. Even during the day, we noticed some strange people who stood out, so we took the car to the city in the evening. There are several 4 stars hotel in the area and they cant help the bad neighboorhood and this is so strange because you can go through an area and first it feels safe, then no and then yes. Its just this 5-10 minutes walk through the residentas area that didnt feel safe so avoid if possible that area.
DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spa Resort

Lovely serene hotel on great golf resort. As a Hilton diamond member I was delighted to get my room upgraded - thank you Hilton. Room was very spacious with a lovely large bath. Great views of the resort and golf course from the very spacious balcony - it’s just a shame that the lake is looking so grubby and low in water, I spoke to a local who advised the hotel owned the lake and are seemingly refusing to fill it up. The mattress was too soft for my liking and I didn’t get much sleep the first night but got used to it I guess. I’ve read on other reviews that the internal phones were not working and they still weren’t during my stay - pretty poor. The pool area and bar are the real highlights of this hotel, lovely area to chill at with a good selection of food and drink. Staff were all very helpful and breakfast was as expected from a Doubletree with a great selection. I’ll definitely stay here again - I’m already missing sitting by that lovely pool!
Occidental Murcia Agalia

The experience and stay here has been very good, it was the second time I came here with my partner and this time has been better than the previous one. The room was very clean and the hotel was very comfortable. The room was still smoking, even though it was a non-smoking room, as I was here for the first time. The dryer you have to be pressing a button all the time and at the end your fingers are tired, and at least in our last room there was no swab in the bathroom, so I couldn't slip my hair in front of the mirror. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.
