There's a common room upstairs where you can eat. They also offer a simple breakfast in the morning with coffee, juice, toast, and dinner rolls. The breakfast was really good, especially the dinner rolls. When toasted, the butter would ooze out – absolutely delicious! The famous Miyahara Eye Clinic is just a short walk away. Next time, if I need to, I'll ask them to help me get a lower bunk.

The stay was excellent, with a high overall operational standard. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with amenities, and the bed was comfortable. The soundproofing was also good. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, responding quickly to requests. The location is convenient, a big plus for both transportation and nearby amenities. The self-service breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, was refilled quickly, and maintained good overall quality. The dining area was clean and comfortable, with good flow, which significantly enhanced the overall experience.

Pros: The hotel is incredibly close to Kaohsiung Station, just a four or five-minute walk away. This is super convenient for anyone traveling without a car and relying primarily on public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic to assist with any issues. Their service definitely enhanced the overall experience. Cons: The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear almost everything happening on the entire floor, whether it's from nearby rooms or further down the hall. It seemed like the guests at this hotel were quite late-nighters; people were still moving around, showering, and using the restroom well past midnight. This would be a problem for light sleepers. Also, there are quite a few rooms on each floor, but only one elevator. During peak hours, you might have to wait a little while. Overall Impression: Overall, my rating is still on the positive side. If I'm ever in Kaohsiung alone again and prioritize convenient transportation, I would definitely consider staying here again. Hotel brief: The ground floor has the reception area and a few sofas for lounging; the second floor houses the restaurant and hot spring area; and all floors from the third upwards are guest rooms, with bathroom facilities on each floor.

Decent ok hotel, proximity to tai Chung railway station less than 8 mins walk if you go by the correct route and not follow blindly on the google map, breakfast can be missed as really need improvement but good to have as not many eateries nearby, good thing is there is a gang cheng station outside and opposite the hotel which can bring you to two famous night markets - Feng chia and Yi Zhong (better), take bus 25, 33, 35, but expect long distance ride, hotel room wall is too thin so be prepared to be disturbed at all times especially at night, WiFi can be weak at times, one last complain is the no throwing of toilet paper into the toilet bowl as too inconvenient for ladies but at this price of a well renovated hotel room, this is still acceptable

Stayed on December 6th. The decor was beautiful and the bathtub was huge. The water temperature was also consistent, not fluctuating between hot and cold. My kids had a great time playing in the spacious tub. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The only minor issue was some dust on the curtains!

Facilities: The facilities are standard, but very clean. On the first day of check-in, the elevator ceiling looked a bit broken – I'm not sure if it was part of the design or if a piece of fabric had fallen off 🌚. Hygiene: It meets standard budget hotel hygiene levels; it's quite clean. However, there was an odor in the elevator when we arrived, a musty smell, perhaps due to the damp weather. Environment: The overall hotel environment is good, and having a window was a big plus. Most importantly, after experiencing a moderate earthquake the day before, we were a bit on edge coming to Hualien, but our room actually had an escape device 😂, which really boosted our sense of security. Service: The hotel staff were very friendly and patiently explained all the important details. This seems to be standard in Taiwan; everyone is wonderful, comfortable, and welcoming. Location: First and foremost, the hotel's location is super convenient. You can find it right outside the train station, just a five-minute walk, which is great. For dining, there are mostly small local eateries nearby. For larger restaurants, you might have to walk a bit further. Since we were traveling with a baby, we ended up walking around for a while before returning to the train station area to eat. It was a slight inconvenience. That's about it. Overall, it's quite good, mainly for the convenience and cleanliness, which were both met. Oh, and for this price, it's excellent value for money. Plus, there's breakfast, and they even had steamed spareribs… definitely a big thumbs up!

The hotel is not far from Zhongzheng Road in the city. The shape of the room is a bit irregular. You can feel the springs in the mattress. The windows are generally soundproof. The barking of dogs and the roar of motorcycles on the road are clearly audible. Those who need a quiet sleep should think twice.

EEthanchanStrategically located at Taipei main station, the heartland of Taipei where all attractions can be gone to with ease. Didn’t expect a lot from hostel. They can do daily cleaning. Disinfection when necessary and a good job done. Breakfast is simple. Everyone loves it.

GGuest UserI got an upgrade to a double bed, which was more comfortable. However, the hostel itself is tiny – the dorm room, the lobby, everything. Our room had 6 beds with lockers, but my 20-inch luggage wouldn't fit. There's nowhere to hang anything by the beds, so everyone just leaves their stuff outside the lockers. The bathrooms are small and crowded. The sinks are always wet, so there's no space to put your toiletries. There are no bins inside, so you have to take your rubbish outside. There are two hairdryers, and you often have to wait to use them. The location is good, right behind Shinkong [Mitsukoshi] Taipei Main. Overall, it's decent for the price.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Meworld Hotel Taipei Main Station. The location is excellent —very convenient and within easy access to Taipei Main Station, making it perfect for getting around the city. The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Cleanliness was good overall. The room was generally well-maintained, though there’s still a bit of room for improvement to make it perfect. The amenities were average. Basic facilities are available, but don’t expect too many extras or luxury features. Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for convenience and good service.

SSiva Rama 256Check in takes only 5 minutes and check out much more faster with 10 seconds with a self check out machine that will suck in your room card. Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes. The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.

MM484188****The hotel rooms are spacious and well-appointed. However, most of the wooden floorboards creak when walked on, the pillows are a bit firm, and the duvet is quite thick. I stayed on the 23rd floor this time, and the view directly overlooking the harbor and sea was incredibly pleasant. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from both the MRT and light rail stations.

YYH_AllenI did not expect this accommodation to be a motel based on its Chinese name, so it was a bit of a surprise when I checked in. The location is very convenient, which is a big plus. However, the overall environment had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The room itself was spacious, but for guests arriving on foot, the access route is not very intuitive—you need to go down to the basement first and then enter through the parking garage, which makes the circulation feel somewhat inconvenient.

GGuest UserI personally lean towards traditional hotels, and at least I didn't experience any of the negative reviews I saw online. Hotel Facilities: It's an older hotel, but my room had been renovated. The interior is definitely a complete contrast to its exterior. Room: For the price, it's incredibly good value. The room was spacious enough whether I was staying alone, as a couple, or with my partner. The air conditioning, hot water, TV, and hairdryer all worked perfectly. Breakfast: They ask you for your preferred dining time when you check in, but maybe because I was staying alone, it didn't really affect me, so I didn't need to specify. The variety of food was extensive, and they changed items daily. I don't understand why some reviews claimed that eating outside for 70-80 TWD would be better; an extra breakfast here only costs 50 TWD. Anyway, they had vegetables, congee, salad, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. For meat options, there was grilled chicken chop, kimchi pork belly, breakfast sausages, and ********* braised pork. The coffee was either from a well-known international brand or the hotel's specially selected freshly ground beans, which I thought was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit odd that you had to return your own trays – it is a hotel, after all. Staff: The staff were very friendly and polite. Check-in was handled in both Chinese and English, and they thoroughly explained my room's features, inquired about my needs, and discussed cleaning arrangements. The only minor issue was that I requested a change of bedding on the third day at noon, after two nights, but it didn't happen. I assume the regular staff member for that floor was off, and the replacement didn't change them, as they just straightened my duvet and put the tip I left back on my pillow. Despite that, it didn't impact my stay at all, haha.

GGuest UserThe hotel is bright, clean, and in a good location. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. During check-in, the staff (a lady with a birthmark on her left cheek) spoke to me in a very condescending and rude tone, as though I owed her something. I also observed that she treated other guests in the same manner. If she is unhappy with her job, she should quit rather than leave hotel guests with such an unpleasant experience. Upon checkout, I left my luggage at the hotel and was asked what time I would collect it. I informed her that I would return at 10 pm., but she insisted that I collect it before 10 pm. As my flight was at 2 am., this forced me to rush back earlier than planned and head to the airport much sooner than necessary.

GGuest UserSince it's a Japanese hotel, the staff speaks Japanese, so you can stay with peace of mind. The rooms are clean, and I think it's a good value hotel. However, amenities are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own. The location is good, and it's fun to explore the small night market and local restaurants in the surrounding area. I plan to stay again next time.
