There's a common room upstairs where you can eat. They also offer a simple breakfast in the morning with coffee, juice, toast, and dinner rolls. The breakfast was really good, especially the dinner rolls. When toasted, the butter would ooze out – absolutely delicious! The famous Miyahara Eye Clinic is just a short walk away. Next time, if I need to, I'll ask them to help me get a lower bunk.

Not a bit of sleep. Several nights of very late check-in ins. Its not OK for people to have no sense. Its not ok to use hairdryer next to my bed at 10.30pm. People showering at midnight 1am 10 pm. What nonsense. Heavy woman on top of my bed in and out. Squeaking the bed continuously and knocking the wood all night. Messing about 3am 4am. I never slept all night. Hostel cannot control their guests here as not all Chinese are noisy, but its always the chinese. The extremely loud family next door with their children running around in room next to mine. Noise in evenings sounded like they were in my room, not next door. Japanese places are fully booked, yet quiet. Soon tired

Good location, around 6 minutes walk to Hualien train station. Big room and good price. No safe box in the room and front desk.

The stay was excellent, with a high overall operational standard. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with amenities, and the bed was comfortable. The soundproofing was also good. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, responding quickly to requests. The location is convenient, a big plus for both transportation and nearby amenities. The self-service breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, was refilled quickly, and maintained good overall quality. The dining area was clean and comfortable, with good flow, which significantly enhanced the overall experience.

Single Inn Kaohsiung Station Front is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Kaohsiung Station, making it perfect for solo travelers or business guests. While the rooms are small, they are clean, comfortable, and functionally designed, with all basic amenities provided. The inn also features a public bathhouse and shared bathrooms, which are clean and have stable hot water, making them relaxing and reassuring to use. The front desk staff are friendly and polite, and the check-in and check-out processes are smooth. Overall, the quality of stay matches the price, offering excellent value for money. It's a single-person accommodation option worth revisiting.

Pros: rooms are renovated and clean, breakfast varied daily and taste good, AC was cold, and hotel quite near the taichung TRA, and steps away from gancheng station where a lot of buses pass by cons: soundproofing could be better, no bidet in toilet All in all, still a good hotel choice in taichung considering the cheap price

Right across from Taipei 101, the location is excellent. You can hop on the subway as soon as you step out. As for the facilities, they're pretty standard.

Stayed on December 6th. The decor was beautiful and the bathtub was huge. The water temperature was also consistent, not fluctuating between hot and cold. My kids had a great time playing in the spacious tub. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The only minor issue was some dust on the curtains!

Facilities: The facilities are standard, but very clean. On the first day of check-in, the elevator ceiling looked a bit broken – I'm not sure if it was part of the design or if a piece of fabric had fallen off 🌚. Hygiene: It meets standard budget hotel hygiene levels; it's quite clean. However, there was an odor in the elevator when we arrived, a musty smell, perhaps due to the damp weather. Environment: The overall hotel environment is good, and having a window was a big plus. Most importantly, after experiencing a moderate earthquake the day before, we were a bit on edge coming to Hualien, but our room actually had an escape device 😂, which really boosted our sense of security. Service: The hotel staff were very friendly and patiently explained all the important details. This seems to be standard in Taiwan; everyone is wonderful, comfortable, and welcoming. Location: First and foremost, the hotel's location is super convenient. You can find it right outside the train station, just a five-minute walk, which is great. For dining, there are mostly small local eateries nearby. For larger restaurants, you might have to walk a bit further. Since we were traveling with a baby, we ended up walking around for a while before returning to the train station area to eat. It was a slight inconvenience. That's about it. Overall, it's quite good, mainly for the convenience and cleanliness, which were both met. Oh, and for this price, it's excellent value for money. Plus, there's breakfast, and they even had steamed spareribs… definitely a big thumbs up!

The hotel is not far from Zhongzheng Road in the city. The shape of the room is a bit irregular. You can feel the springs in the mattress. The windows are generally soundproof. The barking of dogs and the roar of motorcycles on the road are clearly audible. Those who need a quiet sleep should think twice.
